It just sounded like a scripted, rehearsed, well, not rehearsed but that he had KEY words to make sure he said. That's all. And yes, I see what you mean, there but by the grace of God go I.

I understand what you're saying & you just might be right, but TBH- I know a few people who use words like that. I guess people just have different dialect & alot has to do with the way your parents talk. Being from South Louisiana I definately have horrible grammar. LOL!

Well, blondie....you know my hubby well. He makes up the most hilarious wrong lyrics in the world. He never fails to make me laugh!

The head banging part? Yep.....I'm right there with ya. Not on the fence but I am SO ready for Dylan to be located. My prayers are with him and his loved ones.

Me thinks it was to draw attention away from him actually landing. What did happen at the airport and on the way home. Spin the conversation somewhere else and keep blithering and the person will forget what really wanted to know.

I'm thinking maybe he was trying to convey that he's a responsible parent as he got Dylan safely home once before, so theres no reason for anyone to think he wouldn't have done so this time as well. In other words, something happened to Dylan, but he's not to blame.

Is MR giving his true thoughts away with his shaking his head no to so many questions? He quits shaking his head no when he wants the investigation to remain focused on the sightings of Dylan and that Dylan's friends are important to Dylan and MR knows that.

MR mentions Dylan's friends and how important they are/were to Dylan at least four time in this interview. IMO this is a sore point with this man.

MR wants the focus be on the hours between when he left for his errands and when he got back at 5:35 in the interview 'that's part of the struggle WE all have, you know, what happened to him between the time I left and the time I got back'. He quits the 'no' shaking during this part.

Wow, why don't some of you just nail this poor man to the cross already? I understand people want answers, but to pick apart everything this man says in the few interviews they have? I just hope this never happends to ya'll, because the way some of you are disecting this man is sad. I don't think anyone knows how to talk/act in this situation & I don't think that makes him guilty either. Just sayin'. AMO

IMO, the problem with the "maybe he met a friend" theory has always been that there's been no activity on Dylan's cell since Sunday night per LE, and LE has only confirmed that Dylan arrived in La Plata County, per prev links. If he'd called friends from dad's landline, it seems they'd instead state confirmation of arrival at dad's.

You know in all the pics of Dylan's family posted on fb and MSM, I've not seen one of him and his Dad.

My sons live with me and I would be hard pressed to find one of them with me - I am usually the one taking the photos. I think the same would apply to my ex - if there aren't other family members around offering to take a snap then it just doesn't happen. Even when we were together I was the photographer once we left the hospital after their births.

I am pages behind here (in case anything new has developed in the past few hours), but I have to say that since seeing the full interview with MR in the video store I really think he is much maligned. I think he was answering questions honestly and reasonably - even with some understanding about why the attention of some was on him. Earlier I read a couple of posts from others here asking why he spoke about certain subjects first but it was clear to me that he was answering the questions of the interviewer - I could hear her questions, and she even prefaced an early one with something like "lets get this out of the way first..." and proceeded to ask about the attention he was getting from the public. MR wasn't making a pre-written statement defending himself. After all the innuendo I have read I liked that he was well spoken, not defensive and obviously not going to be drawn into attacking ER.

He probably has more information from LE than we do, and may be aware that the limited information they have released is part of a bigger plan - maybe one with eyes on someone else.

As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I'm thinking I might be related to your husband... I have an aunt and a brother who always did that. One of my favorite's was her singing, "I keep on dancin' in a fryin' pan!" :dance:, followed up very closely by a 4 year old's rendition of an old Johnny Cash song - "Daddy sang bass, Momma ate dinner!":guitar:

You probably aren't behind at all. We are just spinning our wheels. There really hasn't been anything new except yesterday we found out Dylan slept on couch, left a cereal bowl in kitchen, left some clothes behind, and Nickelodeon was on the tv.
