As I posted yesterday, MR has really done a 180 since the first week of declining interviews, closing the doors on reporters and telling the media he has nothing to say, "just prefers to let LE do their job."

I'm sure everyone can put their own spin on this depending on your assessment of MR and the facts so far. Maybe he didn't think Dylan would be missing this long or the story would become so big (or stay this big), maybe he's just adjusting to the situation and realizing silence doesn't work for him, it's not going to help Dylan, etc. etc. etc. and so on.

Whatever his motivations, he has seriously done an about face with how public he's become.

He may now be getting advice on what to say and what actions to take.

And he is trying to deal with the added weight of knowing that some people think he had something to do with his son's disappearance because he was the last one to see him. He has contacted a criminal-defense attorney to help him with that.

He does seem to say something negative about Elaine in all of them, though. Seems an attorney would advise against that. It's one thing for a distraught, worried parent to be afraid your ex might have something to do with your missing child's disappearance a week into the search. It's another to keep pointing out their disagreements. Moo

He HAS to drive by the lake to get to well ... anywhere. Where dad lives and where mom lived (near Bayfield proper) is all called "Bayfield". Where exactly the different friend's lived is unknown to me.

Many things in that interview that is concerning. Not quoting Dylan at all...just that Dylan acknowledges his father....and knew he would be back....gosh does that sound like he hid him away somewhere....just odd how that sounds.....

Also a struggle?

His friend "trying" to text him...why trying and not successful?

When asked what he would say to his son....he isn't even speaking to him...just says he loves him and is praying for him....and then...."He was the light of my life" Odd to say that right when you are supposedly talking to your son....thinking of him in the past.

Also that he was successful in getting his son on the plane and safely home to his mom LAST time he visited in September....what! and then he goes into the who thing about a 13 year old traveling......omg.....this entire interview is very very very sad for Dylan....

I think it's bad enough that MR has been accused here so many times without projecting the accusations onto his own son. I have seen absolutely nothing that CR has said that would indicate this.

I'm DVR'ing the show, it'll be a last minute tossup between her and the Giants game... depending on my mood.
