No idea, I don't ask my friends or acquaintances if they have ever been arrested.

I usually know if my friends are arrested because I get the midnight phone call.

I posted way back (threads 1 & 2, I believe) the unaccompanied minor rules for Frontier Airlines, who I believed operated Dylan's flight that landed in Durango. Of note was that Frontier Airlines does not allow unaccompanied minors on flights with connections.

Tonight, after doing a bit more searching, I've come to realize that the flight Dylan took was actually operated by United Airlines - and they allow children over the age of 12 to fly on flights with connections and use the unaccompanied minor service for a fee OR they can fly as adults!

I figured this out by doing a Kayak search for flights from Colorado Springs to Denver this coming Sunday. In the details on each of the flights, it says the airline and then who it's operated by.

SO, we'd decided because of the Frontier rules that Dylan must've been driven to Denver, but that isn't actually the case because IMO he actually flew on United (Express).

There are no regularly scheduled direct passenger flights between Colorado Springs and Durango. Flights connect through Denver.

Commercial passenger flights leaving Denver arriving Durango on Sunday, 11/18:
RPA4929 DH8D Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 23:56 MST Mon 00:45 MST
RPA4909 DH8D Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 20:25 MST Sun 21:12 MST
RPA4875 DH8D Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 16:53 MST Sun 17:47 MST
RPA1041 E190 Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 16:02 MST Sun 16:55 MST

RPA4874 Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 13:56 MST Sun 14:57 MST
SKW6443 CRJ7 Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 10:24 MST Sun 11:02 MST
SKW5501 CRJ7 Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 10:23 MST Sun 11:01 MST
RPA1043 E190 Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 08:15 MST Sun 08:55 MST
RPA4892 DH8D Denver Intl (KDEN) Sun 07:59 MST Sun 08:46 MST

Unfortunately, I can't link to this exact info anymore because the flight happened over two weeks ago (dangit, where are you, Dylan?) and FlightAware requires a fee after that time period, but when I linked to it in the previous threads it was all right.

I know that the time Dylan landed has been floated in MSM as anywhere from 6:00PM to 7:06PM, but based on the list above, I think he landed at 5:47PM. That flight, RPA4875, was one hour delayed. That would've been wheels-on-the-ground time, not including taxiing, walking to the gate, etc.

I don't know where this gets us, but as I've been catching up over the past few threads, I've seen flight questions, so I wanted to bring this forward along with the new info I found.

Agreed! He couldn't deny taking one as we have this

Are you guys referring to the headline on this article?

http://kdvr.com/2012/12/03/dylan-redwines-father-denies-polygraph-claim-made-by-mother/

oops... you and katy

Yes that article's headline originally said "Dylan Redwine's father denies polygraph claim made by mother." The headline said he denied it but the interview didn't mention that he denied it. I now see that they have since changed the headline. FWIW.

I think it was close to 20 years between the first and second menacing charge so apparently not in this instance.

MOO

I've had zero and my husband has zero.

Color me stoopid, but it sounds to me as if somebody has a bad temper - so bad, in fact, that a neighbor felt compelled to call the cops. Color me surprised? Ummm... no.

  • #287
Haha they changed the headline but not the URL
Not laughing at you  laughing at the news flub

lol... ding ding ding... that's what I was getting at. I'm glad someone else noticed.

My guess is that is not the least of his worries but his GREATEST worry. IMO

Child support is still due when a child is missing so that the primary custodial parent can maintain a home and support for the child for when the child returns. I'll bet MR hadn't thought of that.

<mod snip>

And since I'm not suppose to make inferences about personality disorders, I'll just say goodnight.

Dylan, you are so very loved by a world of hearts that never even met you but yet FEEL you throughout all time and space. May you soar with angels and spread your spirit far and wide as we all wait to join in everlasting oneness with our universal source. <3 <3 <3

Nighty sweetheart, and to those who love and cherish you. May your loving family members find peace and comfort.

In its entirety......

No, I saw that, and it does not equate to MR retaining a lawyer in the legal sense.

Go Team Dylan!!!

You don't think hiring a lawyer and retaining a lawyer are the same thing?? :waitasec:

  • #290
Maybe he does have a lawyer and isn't paying him. Oh please, not a pro bono lawyer...

But it was coupled with a charge of child abuse too. And he has been charged and arrested with that charge of menacing twice. It does seem kind of 'hard' to get arrested for a verbal threat of harm. How many people do you know that have been arrested and charged with that?

IMO, to get arrested for that, you would have had to be very angry and act out that anger in front of LE, before you would be arrested and charged for that.

eta: I see now his anger was directed at a neighbor and the neighbors kid, over a broken toy truck. Imo, it shows that his anger gets out of control.

Where do you see the anger is directed at a neighbor? Is there a new article out? Can you provide a link please?

I've locked this thread for a few minutes so everyone can catch up.

Here's the deal - the rules for posting are TOS and the special rules for this case only located in Posts 1 through 4 of this thread. Everyone needs to take a minute and go back and read those posts. Things are getting out of hand in here.

I'll reopen the thread in a few minutes after you all catch your breath and get your wits about you.

Salem

ETA: TOs will be handed out to those that are sleuthing the parents and posting such info here, to those that are accusing the parents, either outright or by insinuation, and to those that prefer to bicker instead of alerting a post for the mods to handle.

Okay - everybody feel better now? Please abide by the rules and be respectful of each other. This is a complicated case and we will be most likely to be helpful if we focus on Dylan and not all the extra drama.

This is such a messed up case. I'll be honest the only person in this situation that I feel sorry for is Dylan and only him. I've followed tons of cases and to me it seems that the more LE shares the less hostile the public get verses were LE is tight lipped the public points fingers and rumours fly at the speed of light.

At this point I'm trying to walk the fence since LE hasn't really released any info and I've seen enough bad divorces play out with friends and family that unless you are there seeing it first hand we really don't know the what and why's. That is JMO.

As for the poly, Rachel Cooke's father failed his first test. He was at work when Rachel went missing but he felt guilty all the same since he was not able to be there to protect her.

The above is JMO.

After reading the threads and some (not all) of the links, I really feel that if Dylan was unhappy in his life, or with the custody issues, that he would talk with his older brother. They seemed close, and his brother seems to be 'there' for Dylan. I just can't see him running away or disappearing himself. Not for this long. (And yes, I know that LE has said recently that they don't think he ran away.)

imo

I feel terrible for all of those who loved Dylan. Even his puppy who must miss him so. He just has to be found.
