CO- Dylan Redwine's case discussed on Dr. Phil ONLY!- 2/26/13 ***SPOILERS***

I have the transcript from the MINI-Clip about the poly. Has anyone posted it already? I don't want to duplicate it in here.

This sighting has been around since the beginning of the case. It is valid and has not been dismissed by LE.

From a rational point of view, I think it was Dylan.

Yes it has been said its not Dylan . LE have said all early sightings was a boy that looked like Dylan that lived in the area !

The thing is that if my son was missing I would be hysterical too. If in the past he had held my children longer than he was supposed to, I would be thinking he did this too.

This mom wants her son back. He is acting odd. He has no desperation about his son missing. He seems to be more concerned with how she acts than the fact that his son is missing.

I did not think MR was acting "odd." He seemed to be a very rational man and perhaps had experience with his former wife becoming hysterical and did not want to see that happen on national tv.

22-year old grandson staying with me temporarily. He knows very little about the case, but at my request he said he would watch it and give an opinion. Went in his room (closed the door) to watch the show because he thought I just might throw something at the one in the living room, lol.
He just re-surfaced. Said he watched the whole thing. Here are some of his observations:
MR is *&^% (fill in the blank)
MR did something to Dylan
He doesn't believe Dylan would have walked anywhere. He was happy to inform me that "all" kids are lazy at that age, lol. They never walk if they have a ride. (He has a 14-yr old brother) He also thought the weather would be another reason why Dylan didn't take off walking. He said no kid walks around in the cold. (He is from Michigan, he knows cold).
He said MR is very angry (not exactly his words, but cleaning things up here!)
Believes MR hates Elaine
Noticed MR doesn't answer questions. Said he "changes the subject" whenever DP asked a question.
Said MR reminds him of his former step-dad...narcissistic, manipulative
Thought ER was in a lot of pain. Didn't think she had anything to do with Dylan missing.
Said if he had to put up with MR, he would do a lot of drinking too.
He took a NAP!!!??? Thought that was very odd/wrong/strange
Something happened Sunday night...no texting was his reasoning
Couldn't understand why MR blamed everyone else and never said he sorry.
Didn't believe MR cared about Dylan missing. Said he showed no emotion.

That's about it for now, but he does want to watch tomorrow's episode with me, ;-)

That is not correct. The "jogger" had been ruled out, but there was still one sighting that has not been ruled out.

Ran an image search on tineye.com and got 7 results. Appears to be a stock photo of a teen.

I do think it was ruled out, but if not, who is this other boy? Are we to assume that LE cannot locate this other boy? I believe this sighting far less now, hearing there was another boy. I give it zero credibility.

Just watched it on DVR. Though I feel bad for Elaine, I also feel that she is barking up the wrong tree. Mark appears calm, rational, and believable while she is understandably hysterical considering what folks have put into her head to stoke her worst fears the past few months. It's unfortunate because I think ultimately this will prove to be a waste of much needed time and resources, and will not help to find Dylan*.

*unless some random person recognizes DR from the TV and reports this to LE, which is the reason MR built up the courage to face his oft-irrational accusers and go on the show in the first place.

I wasn't going to reply, then the quote changed. IMO BOTH parents had to build up courage to go on national tv. According to many opinions DR is out there being held somewhere by someone, so IMO, going on national tv just may help someone see DR and report it to the authorities (that is if you are of the opinion that DR was kidnapped by some random stranger) - you is general not specific.

IMO ER is very much capable of thinking for herself, IMO she has demonstrated numerous times that she is very capable of that.

I don't think it should be dismissed so easily. ER stated that she doesn't know what happened to Dylan and she suspects MR. All possibilities should be explored to find Dylan.

I just watched the show and haven't read the comments from those that saw it earlier. But, I am glad there were a few things that have been speculated on that were cleared up. That at least allows us to move forward a little bit.

He's a very smarmy person and thinks he's smarter than everyone else. He's also picking and choosing what parts of questions he will answer.

This guy isn't right in the head at all. What appears to some as being "rational" appears to me as being very detached and more interested in pointing a finger at his wife, who was hours away.

I think the father got physical with him, Dylan died (whether it was intentional or not, I don't know) and the father has stowed him somewhere he will never be found since he knows the area so well.

I wish I believed this, but he just seems very sketchy. Why did all activity stop on his cell phone at 9:30 that night?? What 14 year old on Thanksgiving break, stuck with his dad (according to ER), stops playing with his cell phone that early? Most kids are on their phones until they fall asleep with it in their hand.

I think that Dylan and Mark got in a fight, it got physical, Mark went too far and is trying to cover it over. Just my opinion.

It has been discussed previously that Dylan was extremely tired. He stayed up the night before the flight until 4 a.m. Then, he had the flight and shopped at WalMart. I cetainly understand how he could have been exhausted and fell asleep.

I also do not think there was a fight betewen Dylan and Mark.

Sorry I think this is wrong and do you have a link saying Dylan was spotted that afternoon because as far am I am aware LE have never come out and said Dylan was seen in the afternoon and if this was a confirmed sighting they would of said so :cow:

I'm almost sure LE discounted all sightings. They said it was found to be
another local boy of similar build. I could be wrong.

And who was this other boy? Has he vanished too?

Was the mail woman and the girlfriend the same person? Or am I mistaken?
