Little sis wanted to stay up, LS said no. Said Little sis's birthday was lowkey compared to Gannon's and LS felt bad about it. Little Sis had dozed off, alarm went off, walked around trying to find some reason, then alarm said fire. Claimed she thought it was a false alarm until smoke coming up from downstairs. Ran downstairs.

Went back up the stairs, grabbed Little sis, gave her keys, told her to take the dogs out to AS's truck.

Came back in, run downstairs to get Gannon. Describing where the fire was. Smothered fire with blankets. Claims she got burned. Woke Gannon, up took him out to the car 'and we drive'. Came right back. Fire was out. Gannon was stressed about the damage.

'AS freaks out about the slightest little thing.' 'He gets, like, crazy if the slightest little thing goes wrong.'

Little sis slept with LS on the sofa, Gannon in his bed.

Gannon had black marks all on his shirt. Gannon had small burns, can't see where she's pointing. Says when we get to Monday, she'll explain why he was bleeding.

Detective trying to understand the scale of the fire. LS says she coughed all night, the smoke was more intimidating. Avoids describing the fire more accurately when asked.

Says Gannon was sleeping on the sofa when the fire started. Says the covers got burned, and she put them all in the bin outside.

That's where I'd struggle. It would be written all over my face.

Stayed home because his stomach was hurting and he was going to help her with the carpet. She claimed she didn't contact school. Said AS would have got the automatic message about Gannon's absence.

Monday.

Gannon stays in bed. Gannon knows they're going 'out and about' apparently. Little sis goes to school. Goes downstairs, observes 'marks' on Gannon's arms where skin is peeling off. LS is claiming he 'picked' his damaged skin due to 'anxiety'. Claims it made her cry because she was scared AS would kill her.

Waterworks just turned on like a switch.

Gannon 'comforted' her.

Crying, claiming feeling horrible.

"I know it's not about me, but..."

I don't know how Gannon's biological parents resist jumping up, running to the front, and throttling LS.

They are so much better than she is.

I just spent my lunch break from work catching up and listening to interview being played at trial today and YIKES --- I honestly cannot stand listening to her voice and she just rambles on and on and on !!
Extremely annoying IMO and I finally had to turn volume off and put on closed caption LOL

Carry on-- I just had to vent my annoyance with this step-monster devil woman.

Letecia described Sunday, January 26 including the hike at Garden of the Gods, Gannon’s stomach hurting, getting dinner, then going home. She said it was a normal Sunday night.

She then described the alarm going off saying, “fire, fire, fire.” She said she saw smoke coming from the downstairs. She then ran downstairs and put out a small fire which was on the floor. She said Gannon was sleeping on the couch right next to the fire.

Letecia said they were able to get everyone out of the home, and when they got back, they talked about a plan to fix the carpet the next day. She said Gannon stayed home from school the next day because of his stomach problems, and to help fix the carpet.

Letecia said on Monday she noticed marks and burns on Gannon’s arm that began peeling and bleeding. She said she was scared and freaking out because she didn’t want Al to know. She became emotional saying, “I made a mistake, I swear to y’all, I didn’t know they were that bad.”

There it is. Freaking out bc she knew she was in trouble bad.

She's crying but Gannon is burned.

We're gonna fix it. We're gonna fit it. We're gonna fix it.

Oh, Gannon, I am so sorry. Every neighbor would've taken you to the ER. If she hadn't prevented it.

This is devastating.

Notice how calm and conversational she is.

Not insane, BAT SHIP STUPID.

And cruel beyond cruel.
