[Curious Me]

I have two channels up on my monitor. The Crime Talk one has the close caption wording so I don't have to have the full sound on. I can read it.

Recovery Addict's channel with the sound off, shows a closer view of the interview room, and Letecia, but the contrast isn't as sharp so it's not as clear.

No matter what, it's torture listening to that woman. Three hours and twenty minutes more to go.​

Completely agree. She tried to light him on fire while he slept and he came to. He got burned very badly. The pain he must have been in.. OMG

I'm wondering if there is video footage of this car drive, and if so, who gets in the car.

If she lit him up (using the sock to delay the ignition of his blanket like a fuse, or as a wick, to help it spread), I'm wondering if she loaded up Little sis and the dogs and drove around, hoping it would catch and he would be fatally injured before she returned to call for help.

But Gannon put the fire out, and thought it was his fault.

In a Facetime call, accused child killer #LeteciaStauch questioned lead detective Jessica Bethel about male deputies being at home while her teen daughter was alone and could not leave the house. Stauch is on trial for the murder of her stepson Gannon in 2020.

T and T alone lit a candle. Because she as the alleged adult in the house couldn't handle bowel odors.

Left a lit candle next to a sleepy child, near flammable blankets....

And then went to bed.

PhD in Stupidity? Irresponsibility? Wow, just wow.

But even that, we've all made poor parenting decisions. So fixable.

I wonder what L has to say about that night.

We can be sure T prevented them from reaching an adult -- any adult -- who would know what to do.

It would involve an ER.

Yup and she also mentioned that box cutter when officers were in the house looking for Gannon the night she reported him missing. I figure that was a sharp that was used on him.

wondering cuz every time I think about this case I go back to… what is WRONG with this person?? Just can’t imagine any explanation why she would do this, so your comment is so interesting.

Was thinking maybe she was involved in some criminal activity, infidelity or some other wrongdoing - just speculating imo, not saying it’s true!! - and little Gannon knew about it (or she thought he did) so she attacked him to keep him silent. Just grasping at straws for why she would do this to the poor little guy!!! its so senseless - even if she hated her husband, his child etc …. just go! Leave them, go back to SC - no reason on earth to do something so evil & create such a problem for herself on her way out…. ?!?

So your comment about maybe abusing G’s medication got me thinking…. if she was a drug addict, that can prompt crazy behavior… and maybe she stole all of G’s pills & got paranoid that G knew & would get her in trouble for it?? Hardly enough trouble to suggest such deranged steps to escape it, but whatever….

I can answer....They're both stimulants. She would talk faster, and be awake more, more energy. No focus, scattered thoughts.

Did the ME actually find any burns on Gannon? I didn’t hear that there were.

I really hope we learn of any video footage as well. I can picture her driving around the neighborhood waiting for flames to be shooting out windows. More frustration for her when she has to go back inside; then berates him for his injuries and damage. This is why she's spoken so much about smoke...because this is what she came back to. My speculation at this point

If only we could've have put L in charge. She'd have called a real adult (Mommy or Daddy) who would have called 911 for an ambulance and the nearest adult in the neighborhood.

And the avalanche of evil she perpetuated over the next 12+ hours.

You can hear it in her own words. Zero concern for Gannon. Concern only for herself.

She had a plan. And carried it out.

If she did use a box cutter, then it wasn't the only blade she used. The wound on his shoulder was four inches deep, and was a stab, not a slice. You can't do that with a box cutter. I think it's more likely she used something more conventional like a kitchen knife.

I have to wonder now, when she saw how badly he was burned, if that's when she made the decision to get rid of him.
