I'm behind.

Just listening to the marshalls fleeing story.

Realized which Marshalls it was at. (Woodmen rd). Okay first of all, the amount of people that probably witnessed this is hilarious to me.

No way there wasn't some business that had footage of this. So many businesses around that shopping mart area. I need to see this LOL.
I was thinking the same! I would pay big bucks to view that footage :D

Bolting at top speed, told to lay flat, yelling at HH “ Don’t tell them anything!”

Most of the witnesses have been law enforcement and the Prosecution has done a good job of asking each of them about her demeanor though.

JMO
Yeah agree they have, but I've been putting myself in their position and there's been a few times I would have asked further questions if I believed for a second that she was insane.

I had an appointment this afternoon so missed the after lunch testimony. Did they get to Harley?

While researching an answer to the juror's question about LS behavior in the courtroom, I came across this article on the impact of non-verbal communication on the jurors. I found it very interesting and perhaps you will as well.
..."This article also addresses the court’s role in safeguarding against forms of non-verbal communication that may prejudice a litigant and counsel’s role in actively managing the effect of these potentially powerful forms of communication."...
The Juror as Audience: The Impact of Non-Verbal Communication at Trial

After reading it through, IMO her attorneys should be the ones to tame her behavior so that she doesn't prejudice herself and the Judge was trying to tell them that in so many words. By her hand sign on Good Friday, they haven't had a talk with her yet. Perhaps they don't follow SM enough to know her behavior is not helping, or they didn't get the message the Judge was sending.

If I was on her defense team I’d at least get her a hair trim. I don’t think the overgrown mop is doing her any favors. It may help her look deranged, lol, but IMO it also makes it harder to relate to her as a person. JMO
Good point.

It's not winning her any sympathy.

It’s very telling that THIS testimony is what upsets her. Not all the graphic heartbreaking details.

She must feel hugely betrayed by Spencer - she used him to try and make herself look good and it backfired on her.

So true, @Cindizzi. She's sat through all kinds of testimony making her look like an evil demon murderer, but for some reason this news interview has her upset. She must feel betrayed by Spencer. I'm most interested in this reaction from her. She's all upset over her slick, fast talking victim's rampage on the tv news, not the horrid autopsy pics and her part in all those wounds to Gannon's body.

I was wondering if it was embarrassment, but I think you're right it's feeling betrayed. MOO, she's been displayed in all her insincerity and guilt, but she still feels wronged by everyone.

Why head down, not rising for the Jury? Self-pity attack? Feeling like the ultimate victim, hey everyone's picking on her for sure. Did she have hope she might "win" over the Jury, and now is realizing she's toast. No one's apologized to her. The interview revealed her for what she is, one big phony.

Perhaps, she has to hide with her head down due to the massive anger and pent up (narcissistic) rage she felt. More acting out from her is expected going forward, IMO.

All MOO.

The jurors not having questions says a lot to me. I also noticed her own attorneys have little or no questions for witnesses. I would imagine they know that she is a liar who was manipulating the situation. The evidence is on video in her own words. It is like a gift of "Look at me, I am guilty."

At this point, the only important information is whether she was diminished mentally or had the disorder claimed by a professional. The prosecution has done a good job asking about her state of mind, referring to herself as someone else, etc. I just don't see insanity as a factor. Even her head in her hands behavior seems more like a woman who is humiliated or angry as opposed to unaware or incapable.

I wonder who will attest to her other personalities besides a professional. i doubt she will get on stand to testify in her defense.

She lies at the drop of a hat. We have seen it during body cam interviews and now we have her conversation with the reporter and the testimony of not 1 but at least 2 officers about the situation when they were attempting to get HH's car and HH's phone.

She is her own train wreck. Engineering the crash and burn here.

OMG, she’s so transparent! She’s po’d at Spencer and his testimony so she’s gonna show everyone, neener neener, so there!

I’d laugh at her antics if she wasn’t a vile murderer… oh what the heck, it *is* funny. Who does she think she’s fooling?

Gah! Or at least pull it back into a nice bun or something. Her clothes haven't been super flattering, either. Usually don't they try to get defendants to dress a little more professionally? I know she probably doesn't have access to Lilly anymore, but nobody can get her a collared shirt?

Ugh, what a day.
Random thoughts:

My glass of wine and I walked around the back garden, listening to the birds.
Sort of like a brain cleanse after the ugliness and brutality of today's section of the trial.

I wonder if HH will testify soon.
I wonder if it's under duress or she does right by Gannon and those who loved him?
Imagine testifying against your mom, in this kind of trial, at 20 years old.
:(

And her lawyer shown in picture looks like an eggplant. Dude needs his blood pressure checked..pronto
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that! I give Tolini until the end of the week to go all Violet Beauregard

All MOO. Her Defense team thinks her look in the courtroom shows insanity, but all it's doing is making her look unlikable and unsympathetic. I said earlier, I think she looks kind of like an evil witch, and I doubt that helps her case. Now, the news interview, oops, she came across a sneaky liar, but certainly not insane. I hope her daughter doesn't lie for her. I'm sure Jurors already believe Harley knows tons. JMO though.

Lol, last night I was thinking about those dresses she wore in her old FB page. In nearly every pic of her she had a leg bent at the knee behind her, like a cheesy 1940’s romance musical. Contrived then, contrived now; some things never change.

Harley was brought up several times this afternoon as part of testimony so I imagine we will see her on the stand tomorrow.

I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to testify in a trial where your mother is the defendant and I believe, if I were in HH's shoes, I would do everything in my power to see that LS never sees freedom. It is a given that she murdered G, her step son, there's no denying that. Did she do it because she hated LS that much or did she hate AS? Was she insane? I doubt it but even if HH thinks she was, there's absolutely no guarantee that she wouldn't go murderer again on the next closest person, which could be HH. If there is still some amount of love HH feels for her mother, she can certainly visit her in prison and it would be so much safer.

The thing that I would be most concerned with is if my mother has this propensity for such a depraved murderous attack on a child, will I have it too at some point in my life.

With HH being on both the prosecution and the defense witness list, do y'all feel she’ll turn against LS?

Listening to the injuries she inflicted on Gannon was awful. He had defensive wounds, hydrocodone in his system, fractured skull, and stabbing through his blanket. And, there she is trying to get fake lie detector tests and pretending she is her daughter to get stuff back. Always about her... that is not insanity, it is selfishness beyond belief.

It is hard to believe that she still wants to go through with this trial. Her lawyers are unable to ask any question that challenges the evidence against her. It is only to inflict pain on Gannon's family?

Not seen any evidence that she was "insane" or incapable of making decisions....not a second personality in sight.

Highly disturbing woman. she flew into a homicidal rage. I hope she didn't pass these genes onto her own children.
