Lowry testified that his aunt had rented the cargo van and Stauch rented another Budget van under her name. They transferred the items from one van to the other. He said as they did that, he noticed Stauch struggling with an older green suitcase.
"Did you offer to help her?" asked prosecutor Dave Young.
"Yep."
"What did she say?"
"She didn't need help."
"Did you ask her what was in the suitcase?"
"Yep," Lowry replied. "She told me it was softball stuff," he added as his voice cracked.
Prosecutors put up a photo of the suitcase found under a Florida bridge with Gannon's body inside on March 20, 2020, about six weeks after Stauch visited Florida. Lowry identified it as the same suitcase he had seen Stauch struggling to carry.
"I didn't feel right about it," he said. "I just felt like it was too heavy for her."

Most likely watching from WebEx. We'd probably see a tweet if he made an appearance. JMO
I agree. There would be a huge buzz if Dan the Man were to show up!
I hope we see him standing with DA Allen at the press conference after her sentencing.

FYI: There’s a 30 minute pause in the Lori V. trial. The judge, defense/pros. teams, and Lori are meeting. A couple of deputies were summoned. No updates.

She is wanting to waive her right to be present in the courtroom. The Judge denied the request.

We're getting a lot of info about how Avis trucks essential have a tracker in them that pings back to base at regular intervals. It's built in to keep track of 'stock' ie. the vehicles so that the company can keep track of them and find them if, for example, they are not returned or are dumped somewhere.

Using these pings, the truck is slowly being tracked across the country. The witness is interpreting the data as to where and when the truck was whenever it was pinged. They can tell not only where it is but whether it was moving at the time it was pinged. All the way to South Carolina.

Could LS's two attorneys possibly look any more bored and disinterested?

Yeah, Cook spends practically the whole time with his back to the jury when he's not actively cross examining witnesses. I don't know how I'd feel about that, as a juror.

Has anyone noticed if Dan May has been in the courtroom?
I've been thinking about that.
Remember the night he went out to the house and the world stopped breathing?
He is amazing.
i'm hoping he will be called to testify.
