Hunt is now testifying regarding events that took place on Jan. 29, which included returning Stauch's rental car to the airport, and picking up her mom from a Taco Bell, which Hunt said "was weird" since she was originally at the hospital and was planning on picking her up there.

Still catching up but I just want to interject a couple thoughts before I forget.

IMO the prosecution did a good job of setting up Letecia's mindset during the time around Gannon's murder. Nothing in HH's account indicates that Letecia was experiencing a psychotic break like the defense claimed or switching to an alternate personality. This is directly from a witness who Letecia made sure to draw in to her drama. Big mistake Letecia, as HH appeared to be truthful on the stand.

Also, I have to wonder (but can't be 100% sure) if Letecia may have originally planned to OD Gannon. My reasoning was based on the finding of hydrocodone in his system combined with Letecia telling HH that he had screamed "I hate my life" and his comment about "bath salts."

Perhaps the hydrocodone dosage wasn't high enough or he threw it up and in the end Letecia abandoned the plan. It may have even contributed to her rage; Gannon didn't burn up in the fire and he didn't die from a drug overdose so I can only imagine how angry it would have made her, this evil woman who always wanted her way.
MOO
I think it's possible T herself screamed that she hated her life and knew Laina would have heard it. So attributed it to Gannon. Only because she hadn't invented Eguardo yet.

So is that where she went after she ran away from the hospital rape exam?

Harley says she stayed the night at her friend Janine Sanchez's house on Jan 29th and Letecia did too.

The next day, Jan 30th, Harley and Letecia go to Marshalls. Harley said she was at the cash register and police came in. She said they took her phone and put her in hand cuff and it made her feel "bad."

Drove around checking on a parking garage, that her car was still there.

Went to [friend's] house. HH was just told that they couldn't stay at their house.

Going to talk about Marshall's now.

No indications they were being followed from things HH saw and LS's behaviour.

Breakdown of the Marshall's incident. Showing HH's physical phone. Admitted as exhibit.

Did T really fob a ride from some poor soul between the hospital and tbell?

Can someone please explain why she thought Gannon was taking "bath salts?" Did she accuse him of taking them?
Was she slowly poisoning him and then trying to get others to believe he was experimenting with bath salt street drugs?
Am I close? This one thing I am having a hard time following.

Wow. The evidence for premeditation and sanity is just piling up. Tee performing perfectly reasonable behaviors (turning off 360) for a person who has just committed a terrible murder. She's a cold calculating, manipulative person. There were no signs of Tee being in a fugue state/disassociating. No new personalities.

The part about not dialing 911 and refusing to go to the police station is so much more vivid within the world of HH's perceptions. You can hear in her voice that she knew this was strange.

Right - because she had already thought through how she was going to explain these things (accidental overdose; Gannon-caused-a-fire).

So she's hellbent on performing this terrible act over a period of days (at least 24 hours), and after the burns, things are really going south for her.

The bath salts and swishers help establish that Gannon was "drug seeking."

Tee lives in a world where she thinks other people are going to buy what she's selling as reality - but it sounds like she had the whole family (including AS) cowed by her and under her control. They were at the very least afraid to disagree with her and the kids were afraid to disobey her.

IMO.

The problem is nothing she said or did makes sense.

Bath Salts? Really? How would that even come up?

The Marshall's event. It felt bad to Harley. She was in the store, Harley got put in handcuffs inside the store, and upon coming out, her mother was also being put in handcuffs. Letecia yelled to Harley, "Don't say or tell them anything". Asked if she yelled anything else, was her mother acting hysterical then? Yes, her mother was yelling other stuff, as well, like that's my daughter, and yelling to Harley to not say anything.

Harley said she and Letecia were supposed to meet her grandma, uncle and aunt. Family picked them up at the shopping plaza and took them to the Extended Stay Hotel. They had two rooms for Letecia, Harley and three relatives.

That's why I am having a hard time following this case! LS said a bunch of word salad.
yikes! This poor child LS is the classic evil step mother.

When moving things out of the house that day, Harley did not remember seeing the big green suitcase.

As they leave from getting their belongings from the house, Letecia sees a reporter and wants to talk to him. Harley says she was waiting for her mom in the car during interview until Letecia asked her get out and answer some questions, too.

During the break, I am wondering whether Tee had procured extra carpet prior to these events, or if it's merely the case that there was always extra carpet in the storage room.

Did she go track down the contractor (as she says she did)? When did that happen? Did she manage to buy carpet from them (while she was planning her initial murder - using fire).

Nothing else shocks me nearly so much as learning that Letecia Stauch seems to have tried to burn a child to death or at least use fire as torture.

I know this is just my view, but after hearing HH, I can't believe anything else. It makes no sense for Tee to try and use burning as punishment, when she knew AS would find out. She was going to make it so that Gannon accidentally burnt himself to death (probably was going to claim he was smoking at first, but didn't get it staged well and then realized Laina was seeing and hearing too much).

IMO. She could even have decided to get him burned and then to give him the codeine as painkiller, but overdose him (which may be what was happening as Gannon lay in bed the night before she dragged him out on "errands").

After interview, they went back to the hotel. Harley said her mom said she needed to get dog food and took their relatives rental car. Harley said her mom was gone for 2+ hours.

Harley said the next day their family rented a van and went to the Stauch home to gather belongings. Harley said police looked through everything. “Police were checking anything we took out. If it were books, they had to go through the pages. We couldn’t take any technology.”
