After doing some more research on the case I'm convinced that Gannon was killed when HH was working later on after the candle incident. When HH says she saw Gannon's head I think he was already un-alive. HH was old enough that she could have told what really happened which is why I think Gannon was already gone. And I think LS did something with his body in the middle of the night.

What did I miss? When did she change her plea?
Upthread, there was discussion of what might have happened in Nov. 2022. In Feb 2022, LS changed her plea to NGRI. Dec.1, 2022, prosecution filed a motion opposing LS’s request to waive a jury trial. Maybe in late November LS learned that the State wasn’t accepting her NGRI plea.

Except we saw him walking to the truck the next day.

Maybe LE decided to tighten the screws to get critical confirmation testimony from HH and laid out the facts for HH. Confronted with the data, her blinders came off. Nov, 2022.

Someone please correct me if I heard wrong:

did HH say it was 11.22 when she was told that her mother had plead NGRI, and that it was explained to her then, what that meant?

I feel like the GfundMe questioning route wasn't the defense attorneys best plan of action.

First of all, reading her 🤬🤬🤬 I don't read it as she is manipulating people into thinking both her parents are dead. She did lose both of her parents....just felt strange to even bring this up IMO.

Second, she got a measley $800 from it. Is $800 going to sway a jury member in the slightest into thinking she's manipulating the situation for money?

Did they really have nothing else to attack her credibility with?

Am I the only one wondering what really happened to Chance Hunt?

I did not watch today as work took priority, but I glanced here every so often, which is obviously not a complete picture.

I did watch HH's youtube religious testimony a bit ago. Although all the right things were said (Christian comments that are expected), I was actually alarmed that she was too cheerful and accepting. There's big denial at play here, in my opinion.

Her deep religious beliefs will not allow her to dishonor her mother. She did the best she could under these parameters. But there's probably a boat load she's keeping under wraps.

I think that detail buried her.

IMO.
Yeah, as difficult as the cross was, even the defense didn't try to claim she was mistaken about the physical abuse she endured.

So, was it Aunt Brenda or her husband who worked for the Ford corporation? IIRC, that was where the corp discount for the hotel check-ins came with Letecia having the code and using that Ford corp code. Did the same Aunt get any deals for Harley's car too? Is she Letecia's sister? It's awful that Harley was constantly having to be manipulated to obey and not question, apparently from her mother and then Aunt Brenda.

Defense Attorney tried to make Harley feel bad or like a liar saying on the funding page she started that she had lost both parents at age 17. I hope Letecia got the message because it sounds like Harley was implying that Letecia is dead to her now.
Even if that’s not specifically what Harley meant, it is true.

LS cannot help pay for college; and can’t be any type of support to Harley even if she has previously been a poor one.

For all intents and purposes, she had might as well be an orphan for the foreseeable future.

One of the biggest revelations for me today, was the shopping list. No bleach, nothing to clean up blood. It made me realize that LS was lying to HH, too. She was just getting HH out of the house, and trying to further her candle story. No matter what she suspected or put together later, HH was not helping clean up a bloody crime scene.

I also know what it’s like to grow up afraid to cross your parent (ever, even mildly). And my mom was no LS, by any means. But I would still not cross her, even now at 49 years old.

I’ve always thought that even if HH did suspect, what was she going to do? Confront the woman who JUST KILLED SOMEONE?!? Even grown women with other adult support and the means to leave, have trouble confronting or reporting their abusers, for fear of retribution. There was no one to support or protect her if she defied her mom and things went bad. And she’d already proven that she was willing to kill.
Excellent post!!!
