Cook is talking about the very brief section of the phone conversation where she referred to herself in the third person. Did you find that unusual. Grusing says not really. Cook says it would be weird if he started doing it right now.
Cook asking about the google searches now. Grusing says he was quite removed from that, that that was sent to him by the data retrieval specialist. Admits he doesn't know the exact dates for the google searches, that that was not supplied to him.

He's talking about how adept she was, that they were able to determine she was capable of hiding Gannon while multiple people were looking for him. He's referring to the crime as a 'three day ordeal' comprising of a great deal of planning. 'Prolonged'.
