I can't help but think about her making AS wait "5 more mins" on her last phone call. She is fake driving around with kids in the back seat and even acts like she's talking to them.
Not a car door or child heard.
She just wanted to control 5 mins of his time.
Blows my mind.

I’ve often wondered if she took vyvanse for appetite suppression or weight loss. IMO it was originally marketed to treat binge eating disorder. If he had been on it for 6 years, he’d probably be on a higher dose. IMOO

Good morning all. I had a random thought over the weekend.... Is it possible TS burned the carpet to cover up something else? Blood? I can't remember if the burnt carpet was recovered.... (Forgive, I am about to board a plane in Toronto and am super foggy.)

About the hotel:

LE has his phone records so if he was anywhere but near the airport, we'd know about it.

That Denver hotel is IMO really expensive. I'm curious about what time his mothers flight out was and his. I myself wouldn't pay for a whole night at a hotel for a half night if sleep. Perhaps Al, especially with military training, could fall asleep on a dime and could fall asleep anywhere. Perhaps he took one for the team, slept on a hard, filthy floor to save money. The price for being married to Lete$ia Karda$hian.

Tragic, tragic truth that it turned out to be the most expensive night of his life.

And the horrifying beginning of the terrifying end to Gannon's.

Jmo

To be clear, I'm not questioning AS's whereabouts, just found it odd for AS to interject that unnecessary detail from a commissioned officer. Hotels including Int'l have Govt rates. We also heard AS remind LS that he's not slept well for years (when he yawned on the phone). JMO

Yes. The burned carpet was discovered in the trash in the backyard. But they found another piece in the storage room with blood on it. No confirmation as to whose blood, though, IIRC. Maybe soon.

Y'all a friendly reminder, no tweets from Zach today. :)

No Letecia Stauch coverage from me today as I’m on (a much needed, imo) vacation. I’ll be back in court on Tuesday.

Stream is up. Talking about the exhibits, minor discrepancy only two exhibits, Cook doesn't have a problem with it. He remembers them coming in.

Possibly an adverse weather event may impact trial next day or two.

Jury returning.

Well ,this is interesting information . He probably should not have been on any medicine that would affect his appetite ,if he was premature and had digestive issues ,this choice on an rx seems like it may have been an wrong choice but who knows..

I'm also curious about the forensics on the "burned carpet" -- especially whether or not an accelerant was detected. Given it's extremely difficult to ignite installed carpet, I've long wondered if this wasn't just candle flame and spewed wax that solidified and what LS referred to as "burned." Most recently, we know she admitted to Grusing that she embellished this event. And I loved Grusing's reaction to LS's candle/fire story -- remaining cool and calm, he asked what color the flame was and the height of the fire!

In case anyone is interested (its a lot):

Model Criminal Jury Instructions Committee

Thank you for this. It clearly spells out how the jury should be instructed in regards to a NGRI plea.

Chapter I (pg. 1281 on PDF file)

The defendant was insane at the time of the commission of the act if:

1. he [she] was so diseased or defective in mind at the time of the commission of the act as to be incapable of distinguishing right from wrong with respect to that act; or

2. he [she] suffered from a condition of mind caused by a mental disease or defect that prevented him [her] from forming a culpable mental state that is an essential element of a crime charged.

But care should be taken not to confuse mental disease or defect with moral obliquity, mental depravity, or passion growing out of anger, revenge, hatred, or other motives and kindred evil conditions because, when an act is induced by any of these causes, the person is accountable to the law.

In addition, “diseased or defective in mind” does not refer to an abnormality manifested only by repeated criminal or otherwise antisocial conduct.

Similarly, “mental disease or defect” means only those severely abnormal mental conditions that grossly and demonstrably impair a person’s perception or understanding of reality and that are not attributable to the voluntary ingestion of alcohol or any other psychoactive substance. “Mental disease or defect” does not include an abnormality manifested only by repeated criminal or otherwise antisocial conduct.

The prosecution has the burden to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was not insane at the time of the commission of the 1284 act. In order to meet this burden of proof, the prosecution must disprove, beyond a reasonable doubt, both of the above numbered conditions.

This is an informational instruction and must have no persuasive bearing on the verdict you arrive at under the evidence.

If a defendant is found not guilty by reason of insanity, it is the court’s duty to commit the defendant to the Department of Human Services until such time as the court determines that the defendant no longer requires hospitalization because he [she] no longer suffers from a mental disease or defect which is likely to cause him [her] to be dangerous to himself [herself], to others, or to the community in the reasonably foreseeable future.

If a defendant is found not guilty by reason of insanity, he or she will never again be tried on the merits of the criminal charges filed against him or her.
