Take note Cook and Tollini were not LS's attorneys when LS first arrived at EPCJ!! They're the B or C team.
Who wants to bet lie-tecia told them her original PD came and told her.

Edit: I had missed the end, didn't realize they actually want to call her previous attorneys and waive attorney/client privilege.

OOFTA. I think that will backfire for them.

Also LS sure has some pep in her step today. Quite giddy actually. Does she actually think this mental health witness is going well for her?? Ha.

Ha! DA just clarified that Letecia was in fact NOT eating her own feces! In response to defense attorney making sarcastic comment earlier.

Can’t make this up.
He was great, but i have to disagree , this whole trial is really about her choking on her own sh==Just saying...

My question:

If she is insane (let's just entertain the defenses plea) then HOW can she consent to Attorney/ client privileges being opened up?

This is not rhetorical.

Clearly the defense team became awake today. They actually objected a few times, and had a serious attempt at cross of a witness. Their attempt to discredit the psych doc scored a few points, but in their own exuberant state they dropped a big dud ball. The wishing for the prior defense attorneys as witnesses (who must be cleared by Letecia and the judge---with waiving of the sacred attorney/client priveledge ) will backfire...hugely. This will Open the door for ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS for the state. Lietecia won't be able to stop that, if they are allowed in. And, sadly..even if Judge has the talk with LS, she is so much smarter than everyone. So expect some fireworks tomorrow...

I also waited for the question, " Was Letecia ever found to be talking to God...in Latin?" But, sadly he didn't jump on that one.

The El Paso County jail’s for-profit health care provider is abandoning its multimillion- dollar contract, saying that the Sheriff’s Office’s unwillingness to cooperate has soured the relationship beyond repair.

Miami-based Armor Correctional Health Services said in a letter to Sheriff Bill Elder last month that the company will exercise its contractual right to cut ties with the county after 2019, leaving on the table about $15 million that it could have made providing medical care for the jail’s inmates if the agreement had been renewed for two more years.
Elder, who has faced mounting claims that substandard care at the facility has left inmates in dire straits, has contended that he’d already decided to end the deal with Armor, even before the company’s CEO said in the letter that the relationship was “irreversibly damaged.”

I think the question of sanity only applies to at the time of her crimes committed.

She was found competent to stand trial twice ( maybe 3 times) so I think that would cover it.

The prosecution really needs people anticipating needs during court.
Go fetch the Web Ex records, the lists of visits the comparisons in the psyche notes..
just have them there..
I wonder if the "her attorney's told her" claim wasn't something LS had only recently told her current lawyers. What I mean is, that might have been the first time they heard that claim. But I agree, they need to be better prepared.

Maybe it's that last witness that's got me feeling that way. Her testimony just hit wrong to me, in terms of flow and just...clarity. I do think she was effective, but I worry the important stuff got lost in the shuffle.

That's just what I was thinking about the whole opening up that door! I thought "Oh PLEASE let Leticia think that's a great idea!!!"

Exactly, she was only insane for that one weekend in January, she's all cured and dandy now. She's a fair weather kind of crazy :p

Will the judge's conversation with T happen in open court? Please tell me yes.

Was Leticia ever found to be repeating "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope." in dual side buns? Well, guess what? She WAS. But YOU didn't even NOTICE...she said."

I missed the last hour. What conversation is that?

She held steady though, very much in control, not in her ego.
I'd imagine the jury warmed to her for her calm and balance.
It's hard to tell from a screen.

If they told her to stay away from professional help which according to their hypotheses she badly needs it's a problem for them.

I'd also like to know what books she had in her cell or read coming up to the trial..

I'd like to know whether her emerging new symptoms originated in recent reading material.

It was discussed on RA's feed, I think. I believe this all has to happen officially, and on the record. So, yeah

I think she's just claiming intermittent insanity...like temper tantrums

She will enjoy that very much.
So will I.

From what I remember per testimony today, was T's new and improved mega symptoms only came about after her few weeks of stay at the lovely Mental Hospital, while she was being observed for competency. She must have read up on things while there.
