No way she will ever take the stand.

That's what I said about AM, but was I sure wrong about that. He was also a narcissist.

Tupac? Seriously?
WT frog on a log!
She hides when she is hearing her lies, with these lies, i would do the same.

For anyone that watched Game of Thrones, I need a Shame Shame walk
I am so overtired, but seeing you reacting on delay hours after my head was spinning trying to keep up with her nonsense is giving me life.

Am I the only one who doesn't think she has put on that much weight?. She is a lot less toned for sure, and puffier in the face, and she looks to have gained a few pounds but I wouldn't say a lot. Considering she seemed to keep pretty fit in her other life and now she can't live on fruit and veg and has a pretty limited diet and exercise routine going on, she looks about how I'd expect really.
Plus whatever meds she is on that could be making her bloated.
She did look leaner in green today.

She is not healthy that is for sure.

I'm not even done with the testimony and I need to go to bed. I need tomorrow to catch up :)

I thought the defense would wake up during the drs testimony jmoo
Nope, they are joining the Shame Shame walk with her.
Shaved head, walked through the street, rotten tomatoes and poop flung, while nuns clang big bells chanting shame, shame.
It's advertised as a kind of public entertainment.

(For those of you who are not GOT fans, I am referencing from Game of Thrones HBO show, I apologise for being geeky).

Yesterday (Tuesday), it was all fun and games, but Dr. Grimmett has changed that. I watched all three of them slowly slump as the testimony advanced. I have had to stop for the evening to go to bed, but I will get a day to catch up.

Trust me. Many of us have put forward theories that didn't work out. It is inevitable in true crime stories.

I remember when we learned she checked into that hotel - that convinced me as well. At the time, we didn't know that her rental van had GPS that pinged every 6 hours or so (that has been admitted as evidence in the trial, IIRC).

She tried to conceal the fact that she had left Colorado from her husband, Al. The FBI knew she had left. They coached him on how to extra more info from her, but she was cagey (and used her usual disorganized style of speaking to try and hide the fact that she was back in NC).

It's very interesting, in retrospect, that within 3 days of Gannon's disappearance, she had given up looking for him (which she only pretended to do) and was making active plans to get her stuff and leave CO.

IMO.
I obviously missed quite a bit.

IIRC when I first heard about this case, it was unclear why she went to the airport.

I speculated at that time that the airport was for transporting Gannon's body, having someone drop him in FL, and then act completely oblivious.

I clearly underestimated exactly how unintelligent this woman is.

20 minutes before trial started, I listened to this interview (Paolo Nutini) and thought for a minute I must still be wearing my UK-born ears!

Exactly the same for me. I hear a muted Scottish with various American inflections. I am originally cockney but I have learned over the last 14 years to mute my cockney and I know I have a slight Canadian twang :)

Between her multiple phones, her life 360 app, and trackers from every vehicle she drove, not to mention security cameras both commercial and of the Ring variety, and bank records, she might as well have left a trail of fluorescent paint everywhere she went before, during, and in the weeks after the crime.

Serious question

What happens if one Juror decided she is not guilty by reason of insanity?
Mistrial would be my opinion. Hung jury. Do over.

I know I am about 14 hours behind in reaction but I absolutely love this witness. She is my new hero. I'm at 1 hour: 10 min.
and I haven't gone to bed yet

No way!
I cited Bowlby's attachamant theory in my paper severeal times for sacrifice this semester, and Maslow.
I researched this exstensively.
The context in which the defense are tryign to cite it, is inceorrect.
Studies involving Romanaian orphans, who were kept 20 to one care giver, (and it was minimum care giving.), had pre-adoption evaluations and showed insecure attachment. Others studies have studied the attachement style of children living with a parents who has psychopathology and earlier studies showed monkeys would rather snuggle a fake 'stuffie' monkey than a wire shaped monkey they could get milk from.
What the defense are tryign to put across is completely twisted from what Bowlby's theories actually represented. I feel so angry.
This circus needs to end. This is the leticia show now and it will not win any tv awards.
I have only just got to the 1st recess. so please forgive me if this has been discussed already.
I really am going to bed now.

Found it -- confirming Dr. Lewis evaluated LS on Nov 15-17, 2022 via video.

Per the People's Motion for Discovery Concerning Defense's Preliminary Psychiatric Impressions of LS [P-43] dated 2/13/23, Item 8:

On Nov 15 - 17, 2022, LS participated in video-recorded forensic interviews with Dr. Lewis which have been discovered to the People.

Motion [P-43] also provides a timeline for Dr. Lewis and LS which is worthy of a read in anticipation of her upcoming testimony.

Talk about cruel and unusual punishment. Is it even fair to ask Judge Werner to swear her in?

" Do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you God?"

ETA: At a minimum I'd expect an eye roll from every juror.
Personally, I'd expect a choreographed flash mob from the jury

She wanted to steal her gun.
T was fixated on it, even in her re-working of how it happened.

You can see it in the video. Smashes the officer in the face and continues the lunge. Zero movement toward the door. 100% going for the gun.

She is dangerous. Cunning, plotting and above all else stupid.
