I agree.
I think G was either quite ill in the truck so she moved him to the bed of the truck and/or she planned to abandon him somewhere but changed her mind, also relocating him from the back seat to the bed.
Witch.

I wonder if she believed at some point he was actually dead. I think she'd been waiting for that moment all day. So she thinks he's passed, she goes home, planning to put him back in bed, looking just like the photo she took of him that morning,P; then at the last moment she realizes he's still alive and she has limited time so... the rest happens.I still say he was in the bed of that truck. She backed it way up.
Thank you. It's Mr Clark, the intelligence analyst. He's threading together camera footage with data from phones and cars and other things into one big timeline.
She will start around 1:30-1:45 local time. That's after lunch in CO.
The defense did something very under-handed and their witness, who ought to know better, did as well. There is no report of that session for the judge to review and the prosecution to discover.
They are doing the old "do it now, ask forgiveness later", banking on the jovial good will of the judge. This expert is their entire case.
She should be throw out. This was an abuse of the system, abuse of the rules of discovery, no?

But we don't know what other experts might choose to review. I don't think we can say it's always only things they've seen before. For example, there may be data posted later than when they wrote their report. And we don't know who they might talk to. Finally, last-minute trial prep isn't something that's "already in the record."Yes, but typically to refresh, they are reviewing things that are already in the record. Not having some new opportunity to develop fresh ideas and insights. IMO
Thank you! It's currently 17:15 here in the UK
Man, I am both dreading and looking forward to her testimony in a way that's making me feel a bit sick
Oh ok. Everyone seemed to be discussing Dr Lewis. I thought defense was already up.Prosecution is still on their last witness - a crime scene/digital forensics expert. He has shown Ring video of various movements of LS's truck and is about to present a timeline of events (with illustrations that we will likely not be able to see).
For real? Harley? I hope not! And family? How could they after what she did to Gannon? That’s horrible of them, in my opinion.Defense witnesses:
Dr
Social worker
2:investigators
Harley
And several of LS family members including her aunt and mom.

If various folks are right and Dr. L making her visit means the defense presentation becomes "bedlam" (I'm not at all convinced that could ever happen in this judge's court) I'm not sure how that benefits the defense anyway. But we'll see.

I thought the defense only had 2 witnesses?Defense witnesses:

That’s their list, but they told the Court last week they are only calling 2 witnesses- Dr Lewis and one other.Defense witnesses:

Are they spinning for a mistrial? That rings true. She's basically their only witness (they have a psychologist on their list, don't know if that will be their second witness - they apparently have only two).
To throw her out means that the Defense is unable to do their job and would likely result in a mistrial. The Judge knows this and is trying to keep that from happening. The Defense really has done something underhanded here. I hope Dr Lewis doesn't "slip up" and confuse what she learned last night with what she already knew (because it would be very hard to object to, given that the State has no clue what they did last night).
I did too.I thought that LS parked with the hood of the truck in the front, on the trip where she brings Gannon back to the house to kill him. He exits on the driver side.
Is there no ring camera for that trip??
IMO.
I'm inclined to believe this was their first face-to-face meeting and it would be impossible for such a meeting not to affect Dr. Lewis's testimony. I think the state has reason to move the court to disqualify Dr. Lewis as an expert witness for the defense. I don't think this is over.I find it impossible to believe that Dr Lewis's view of the defendant was not altered by a 3 hour meeting. If she used that meeting to cement her own understanding of LS, then it's unfair that the State doesn't get to know what she found out. She had to have found out something, they weren't discussing the weather.
I am still wondering if they had ever met before or if Dr Lewis communicated via video conferencing with LS up until last night. If Dr Lewis used any type of psychiatric expertise in her meeting with LS last night, isn't that a breach of the discovery process? How could she not use her expertise? Why else would she be there?
IMO.
