What did I just witness? I have to go back and read all of this. I NEVER expected it to go THAT bad. That was totally off the rails. Is Leticia going to think "I HAVE to testify, I'm the only one who can fix this!"?? You know that's how she is. She REALLY thinks she's a great liar. She has no awareness of how transparent she is. She's probably going to testify. And we know she HATES being controlled or tokd what to do. So if her lawyers advise against it, she's going to do JUST to show she can.

Perhaps she'll testify and summon her other alleged alters...

If Letecia does testify, then I would suggest everyone in the courtroom carry a crucifix and wear a string of garlic around their necks, to protect themselves from this demon.
The woman is beyond evil.

Presumably all her info has come from LS, who has categorised AL as another abusive man at whose hands she's suffered 'her trauma'. The fact that this is the version she has run with is just another demonstration of what a mickey mouse defence strategy this has been.

Before 1PM today, I would have said NO WAY.

Now, I think she most likely will.

She thinks she is the only one sane enough to save herself.

Of all the things that could help T's case, her own testimony is the ticket. I've had it on my Bingo Card (center square) all along.

All she has to do is "be herself" and it's possible that one or more juror might think she's Insane. Most of the viewing public thinks she's crazy.


I hope the Judge sticks closely to the M"Naghten rule in his instructions. Which he almost certainly will.

I was thinking similar, there's definitely something not quite right with all of this.

Dr Lewis is certainly very gullible, hasn't a clue about the Colorado laws or the reports that she has had months and months to read and familiarise herself with, AND has had rings run around her by the defense with the tests and the times etc...

Either she's simply in it for the money now that she's at the end of her career for sure, or there are people taking advantage of her.

I want to believe that people are taking advantage of her but that’s not good either.

I feel bad for her.

The issue imo is that she just parrots what LS says. She’s not taking a critical approach as a professional and evaluating the statements or actions of LS. Basically LS said my name is x and x and x and x made me do it! AS is bad! Life sucks! Nothing’s my fault! And dr L takes her words as gospel.

That's not a professional; it's your best friend having your back. I've said it before: She needs a supplement to her income other than SS. The jury will see this.

IF LS testifies, the only viable path I can see would be her saying she was insane when she murdered Gannon and to beg to be sent to a mental health facility for life. She could say she wanted to plead guilty by reason of insanity but it’s not an acceptable plea in Colorado. Didn’t she want a bench trial at one point?

Darrell Brooks tried this during his trial. Cried and begged for mercy.

Didn’t work for him.
Won’t work for her either.

If Letecia gets on the stand and uses the "Billy voice" she still has a chance. I think she should stage an argument between Maria and Billy over what Edguardo told them.

Dr. Lewis suspects Edguardo started the candle fire.

(Maria hasn't had a chance all her life. Finally, tomorrow, she gets a voice.)
