It would be stupid to drive back to the body. Letecia isn't stupid. Therefore....

Huh?

Logic check on Aisle 4.

someone smoking weed, judge orders cessation.
Hard to blame them, really...
That might explain the giggles and the touchy touchy between Cook and LS. Lol

She keeps referring to the stupidity of LS's actions to cover up her crime, and yet she stressed yesterday how intelligent LS is. This witness is a mess.

Right from wrong is abstract?

It is abstract. Right and wrong do not have a physical presence out in the world. They are universal human concepts that we hold inside our minds. And not only that, but many other mammalian species also have a concept of right and wrong. They too are able to abstract.

Labeling behavior is also an abstract operation of the mind. Dr. Lewis's entire career (and this would be true of many scientists and doctors) involves the use of abstractions. Such as the concept of "mind" or "psyche" or the concepts held true inside psychiatry (where of course there is much debate over whose abstractions are correct).

So, Dr Lewis should be comfortable using "abstractions" as well known and universal as right and wrong.

IMO.

Letecia tells Harley not to answer the door, and she's doing all this stuff. She drives her Tiguan to the sheriff's, but on her way she stops and washes her vehicle. Did she know then right from wrong?
1683132642106.png "Again, right from wrong is abstract." "I don't think much of what she was thinking is rational." "That is crazy." "It sounds crazy to me, not smart, sounds crazy."

She tells Prosecution that he's thinking more logically than how she sees it. The whole story about Edguardo was crazy. Changing perps, well, Dr. Lewis doesn't know why she'd do that. Pathological Liars and people with Antisocial Personality Disorder?... Dr. Lewis says this is a bit of a fantasy.

1683133244159.png Expert says, "That's evidence of stupidity to drive back to the body. I don't think that is the smartest thing to do. Not smart."

The jury must be absolutely flabbergasted right now. The prosecution was organized and efficient in laying out their entire case, and now they’re having to attempt to follow this train wreck of a defense.

Side note, I’ll bet that “DON’T GO” yesterday scared the jurors half to death. Some of them had probably started nodding off at that point with how long Dr. L had been rambling.

Her phones going off now OMG
Enough!

We need to petition for her documentary removed from HBO or aired with a HUGE disclaimer. She should not be influencing viewers as an expert. Her performance in this courtroom from start to finish is rubbish. JMO
