The judge is thanking the jurors for being here and being attentive throughout.

Many in the courtroom are sniffling and wiping away tears, as Gannon’s photo of him smiling, is still being shown on the screen.

Judge is giving advice (only suggestions) to the jury now in advance of them withdrawing to the jury room to deliberate.

He has chosen the twelve who will be deliberating, they are leaving now. He has instructions for the five are not part of the jury. He is thanking the alternates with deep sincerity. They are still on call in case one of the twelve has an emergency and they need them to make up the twelve. They will be waiting in another room of the courthouse.

I think the OJ reference is brilliant. The subtle/not-so-subtle message? Don't be another jury that lets a guilty murderer go free!

Prosecution have done Gannon proud, now it’s up to the jurors. Gannon strong

Judge is thanking both sides for their professionalism. Is talking about the impact on EVERYONE involved in this case. "Both sides had very difficult jobs, with one or two exceptions, you acted professionally with each other. In a case that could have been made so much worse by bad lawyer behaviour, you all rose above that."

And now, we wait.

Excellent point.

As confident as I am in the jury I have to keep reminding myself to breathe.

May justice be swift and terrible- for Letecia.

I call 1.5 - 2 hours to verdict.
