I get that..however JH has IP address and we all know he was mostly a loner type..so doubt anyone went into his location ( eewwwwuh) with all he constructed in there..LOL BRD (beyond Reasonable Doubt) Not being JH is not BRD :laughing:

Gnaw Doubt that..But the admission of this disc is very important as subsequent witnesses will be discussing some of those emails..i.e. x-girlfriend. The defence lawyers are going to try and keep out everything possible..but given it's the burden of the prosecution to prove/disprove everything..Benefit of the doubt sides with them most of the time..JMOO

I've noticed the DT do seem to want to keep a lot of stuff out of evidence. Anything that can show him behaving 'normally' really.

While it kind of bother's me that laypersons can purchase so readily this gear..It's also comforting to know..there is records kept on such purchases..JH was not paying attention to detail like you would have thought given his genius status...But then again..he likely believe these stupid human's wouldn't be able to figure him out ROFLMAO

OK, after reading the Motion to Suppress that Shelly posted...and fully accepting I don't understand legal jargon very well.

But it says that it was an illegal search of his apartment, his car and wallet. That it was without a warrant.

I thought I understood at some point since this started that no warrant was necessary to enter either of those places because the "threat to the public" overrode the need to wait for a warrant.

Is anyone willing or able to explain why or why not this is correct?

I have often wondered why he didn't order this stuff in someone else's name. Credit card orders demand that the billing name and address is used - and I know for a fact they won't go through if not used correctly (transposed address numbers and denied - fixed and approved) So it wouldn't have mattered. But it has crossed my mind.
