Why did JH leave so much ammo there? Did he expect them to blowup when apt. caught on fire? What a sicko :gaah:

Yes. He put bullets in glass jars with gas (I think)

So that they would be activated in the fire and shoot off in random directions, hopefully injuring any fire fighters that could be there fighting the fire.

He is a deranged and evil monster...though not insane!

I believe he put unspent bullets inside jars with napalm. The person who testified about this said the bullets would have flown round the room if the jars had ignited.

Jinx...again! LOL!!

Defense attorney once called JH's notebook "a tiny piece of information .. that is not necessary."

But what about those magazines loaded with 13 bullets each ..What would happen to them if fire engulfed the apartment? I'm not a gun enthusiast so just don't know what would happen to them??? Maybe a stupid question..

Fyles is now holding up the package that contained the JH notebook sent to his psychiatrist

The package was addressed to Dr. Lynne Fenton

I am not sure. I am not sure if fire would be enough to cause them to fire...

I am thinking he left those behind because he didn't have room for them. But I could be way off base.

WOW!!!! The circled infinity #1 sign was on the package, too!!!

And also written on it was "Who, What, Where, When, and How"

JH put 16 "Forever" stamps on the package. Each stamp showed a different figure from scientific history

Showing the burned money that was in the package with the notebook. Totalling $400.

I didnt realize that JH had sent the notebook to his physchiatrist along with the burned money when he quit seeing her. I think this must be the same notebook referred to in this article I found.

The article also has a summary list of the arsenal that JH bought. The 90 round magazine referred to I think is a "drum magazine" which are usually round in shape and hold a lot of shells all coiled up in one large round ball. I think he must have had that with his rifle which could explain why he got so many shots off so quickly without reloading all the time.

"Holmes mailed her a frightful package. Inside were $400 in burned $20 bills, a sticky note with an infinity sign, and a spiral notebook containing a placard. Written on it: "James Holmes, Of Life," according to the documents."

Defence objecting to 3 emails from JH to his mother. June 21st and July 25th 2011

They refer to euthanasia training (in the lab - gerbils etc) and a facility tour.

They believe that the emails are inflammatory as they refer to killing of animals in the lab.

Prosecution says they are relevant because they show his communication with his parents. That all emails show a consistent pattern of content etc.

I believe JH mailed the notebook the day he did the shooting. He knew she wouldn't receive it till after the fact.

Just speculating.

I wonder if he was hinting at his shooting and basically telling her that nobody will ever know where he was planning his attack or on whom.

I think it was smart of the school to deactivate his college ID. He may have been targeting the school and maybe after he realized he could not access certain places maybe he decided on the public theatre.

"When James Holmes' psychiatrist warned campus police at the University of Colorado how dangerous he was, they deactivated his college ID to prevent him passing through any locked doors."
