As far as I know, it is not a presser, only a release of information in PDF format. Can anyone confirm? There seems to be a lot of confusion on this, and I'm confused myself :crazy:

It's only 12:45 in Aspen. If the press doesn't release something by 2:00 Aspen time I'll email the reporter.

Ok, so there is NO presser. They are just going to release the new information via PDF, in approximately 35 minutes. The more I kept hearing "presser", the more confused I got LOL

Since the update is in pdf format and there isn't a news release due in Ohio that I'm aware of, it leads me to believe that LE doesn't know who this is yet and it isn't Candace Watson.

Here is a map of the area she was found in, on Canyon Creek Road, 1/4 mile from I-70. From various articles it sounds like she was dumped along the road, but animals drug her further in.

From looking at the map, it really looks like she was dumped and whoever did it most likely hopped right back on the hwy.
If you follow Canyon Creek Rd up there is nothing there really. A few houses-but it's pretty desolate.
This worries me because if they don't have some sort of really strong forensic evidence and some luck-it's might be pretty hard to pin down who did this.

An odd way to release the identity of a body, eh? I have a feeling we're going to read more of the same (still waiting on forensics, etc). If they have an identity, they should have a person who's there with the press.

He says to get from Ohio to Colorado, you take I-70, and that's where this body was found right off of.

The woman could be anyone, a wife or a prostitute, local or out-of-state. Her killer could be one of the many, many transient or permanent (born & raised or transplant from CA, etc.) gas/oil workers in that area or any person who lives on the WS.

Worst (most difficult to identify) of all would be if her killer was just traveling I-70 looking for a dump site Really hard to find these guys who use our interstates to find and dump victims.

You haven't...they didn't release any new info!

But we don't know how the body was dismembered - maybe the breasts were removed or mutilated another way. I was thinking that the body was mistaken for that of a child because it was dismembered, not because it is a small body - though really it could be either way, or some other reason we don't know about.

I think most likely this young lady was a prostitute servicing the oil/gas workers - or she is not from the WS at all but just dumped along I-70 by her killer.
