The District Attorney has to prove KB was burned at PF's house. They absolutely have to prove this.

  • #1,042
I haven’t seen any solid facts that clear her. Alibis are flimsy and hearsay. Is it possible she brought drugs the prior trip and he drugged KB on the 22nd but she didn’t die and they murdered her after the 22nd?

Her family would have to be lying, her friends would have to by lying, her ex would have to be lying, the person who loaned her the car would have to be lying, her cell phone location information would have to be wrong.

They would have investigated her as if she was the killer herself, law enforcement believes that she wasn’t.

No, the drug thing doesn’t work.

Kelsey went shopping.

Kelsey went home.

PF picked up the baby, and said he never saw her again.

A camera proved that he was lying, and returned to the house, ultimately spending about two hours there.

Upon leaving, he calls two people. KK, presumably to tell her “you have a mess to clean up,” and his mommy.

Then Kelsey’s phone begins to behave very strangely.

Not coincidentally, while pinging off the same towers as PF’s.

And, I don't understand how he blindfolded her and then grabbed the bat. Where was the bat that KB didn't know about it and where he could easily grab it?

jmo
It's my opinion that the bat was planted there prior to PF coming over.

I will agree with many here, she did stuff to cover her a$$, and explain it in the best light.

For anybody who has Grease on a brick and grouted area, they know the grout around the brick is the hardest to clean out.

She probably said that because she knew she had not done it well. It supports, and my opinion, that she was putting herself in the best light for all of it.

I think many of us are understanding that the greater good is for the baby to be saved from future harm from these horrible people associated with this case. I have never seen so many evil people associated with a case that were supposedly Suburban moms and dads. And to do such, they had to make a deal with the Devil.

Make no mistake, even For agnostics and atheists, they are the devil and , as another poster stated before up thread, they both should burn in h311. M o o
BBM If that's "the best light", I don't want to know what the harshest light is. What she did was heinous. Despicable. Now we know why the court issued a Decorum order. MOO

I do believe they would all lie for her. Of course she wasn’t drugged before shopping. Did KK take the battery out of her phone and use the burner phone until she got KB’s phone?

Or KK is over-stating how much blood there was.
but head and face wounds bleed a lot. even minor wounds in those location can bleed much more than you'd expect.

  • #1,047
Just when you think there couldn't possibly be any more lowlife scum in on it, more pop up.
Ie the friend with car,and fully loaded gun.
SF watching her burn doesn't surprise me. I suspected she knew more from the get go. Her taking the fifth does not help change my mind on that.
But my Lord all the peripheral players.
I hope Mays gets every last one of them.
MOO

This is the most horrendous crime. Poor Kelsey. I can f
And then eating a tasty Thanksgiving dinner.
He's a psychopath, plain and simple.
So is KK imho. She also had a hearty appetite afterwards, stopping at Sonic.

Edited to add: I don't think KK came forward out of a "guilty conscience". She came forward to cop a plea because she knew she could face a lot of jail-time if she didn't, and that she'd be implicated as an accomplice. She only wants to save her own hide, imho.

moo

I am beyond mad at this point. Poor Kelsey.

Just another red herring. When KB disappeared, her mother would tell LE that she had been concerned about safety recently.

And forcing the conversation of the January 2018 New Years issue of her and he having a fight over finances she took a gun to her head supposedly. And then that would lead to the August conversation of her depression. He was trying to possibly get that out?

They didn’t strike a deal with someone who could have been a murderer.

Their first step, would be verifying her whereabouts around the time of the crime.

They would want to be absolutely sure that this proven liar, was telling the truth.

They appear to be satisfied with her location.
Do you believe they struck a deal with her before or after she told her whole story?

In my mind, if someone called me to come clean up a murder scene, I would be terrified they would then kill me as I'm now a witness! 911 would be my next action!

There's too much about this 'story' that doesn't make sense. And as Judge Judy says, if it doesn't make sense, it's a lie. I believe lots of what was told by KK is a lie, and the only way LE would know is if PK speaks! But, in PK speaking, he's going in implicate himself. Thus KK feels secure in saying what she wants, believing PK is NOT going to implicate himself by pointing out the lies.

I think both PK and KK are criminals and need to be in prison for the rest of their lives! What I'm not certain about is the role each actually performed in this planning of the murder, the murder, and destroying the evidence afterwards.

Maybe KK is a type of nurse that carries drugs...whether legally or not, and had Adderall or some stimulant to stay awake so long without sleep. If it was adrenaline only, it would have wore off quickly. I don't know how the majority of people's bodies respond to an adrenaline rush, yet I don't believe it would last days.

This reminds me of a recent case, when a female convinced her young male friend, to commit suicide.
He committed suicide.:(
She was arrested, and went to trial.:)
Hope similarly here, there will be evidence available, that KK was the instigator here.
MOO.
Personally, I think it was a collaboration from the get go. Ultimately, PF had the stomach to do it and deserves to be where he is and never get out. I hate seeing deals made with devils and I can only hope there will be "aggravating" factors and she will spend three years behind bars. I, however, doubt that will happen. I'd settle for 18 months. She deserves SOMETHING other than just losing her nursing licence. If the board EVER gives it back to her, the State better check the water supply down there. I hope her ex has started custody proceedings. She doesn't deserve to be around children.

Kelsey Berreth murder case: Patrick Frazee, nurse's affair fueled conspiracy

[...]
After Lee refused to kill Berreth, Frazee allegeedly took matters into his own hands.

On Thanksgiving Day while at Berreth’s house, Frazee tied a sweater around her eyes as a blindfold and asked her to guess the scents of candles, the affidavit said.

“While she was blindfolded and distracted, he hit her with the bat, causing her death,” the affidavit said.
[...]
Lee told investigators that Frazee called her later that day and told her she “had a mess to clean up,” referring to Berreth’s townhome after he had killed her. She drove in Garrison’s car all night on Nov. 23 and arrived at Frazee’s ranch the next day [ Nov. 24]. He had left a key for her next to the property’s front gate, Slater testified.

Lee used the key to enter Berreth’s townhome where she found blood on books, baby toys, oven mitts, stuffed animals and Berreth’s purse, the affidavit says. Blood coated the living room walls, the ceiling, wood floor, and furniture, Slater testified. Lee wore gloves, a hair net, booties and a white hazardous materials suit over her whole body when she cleaned the apartment over the span of four hours.

He asked Lee to search for a tooth because when he hit Berreth in the face with the bat several of her teeth flew out, the affidavit says. Lee told authorities she later found a tooth, root and all and threw it away.

Lee accompanied Frazee to the “Nash Ranch” about a half hour drive time from his ranch to retrieve a black tote bag containing Berreth’s body and the bat he allegedly used to kill his fiance, Slater testified.

Frazee asked Lee to take the body with her to Idaho but she refused, the affidavit said.

They returned to Frazee’s ranch. He put the tote into a 100-gallon metal trough, put wood in the trough, poured gasoline from a five-gallon container on the wood and tote and lit it on fire, the affidavit said.

“Lee never saw the body prior to it being burned, but Frazee said the body was in the black tote. At one point, the tote had melted, and there was a heap that Lee believed to be a human body still in the fire,” the affidavit said.

Frazee gave Lee a bag containing Berreth’s gun, the affidavit says.

“Frazee wanted Berreth’s firearm to appear to be missing in an attempt to lead investigators to believe that Berreth might have committed suicide. Frazee said that because she wouldn’t take the body, she had to take Berreth’s firearm with her and dispose of it,” the affidavit said.

Slater said that after Lee returned to Idaho, she gave the gun to a friend. Investigators retrieved the gun from the man and confirmed it had been purchased and owned by Berreth.

It sure helps to review. Thanks.

What really strikes me in this part is why is he making it sound like KK owes him. There had to be some kind of pre-planning deal made between the two of them for her to feel like she had to do these things for him.

Starting with:
PF tells her she “had a mess to clean up,”

Frazee asked Lee to take the body with her to Idaho but she refused, the affidavit said.

Frazee gave Lee a bag containing Berreth’s gun, the affidavit says.

Frazee said that because she wouldn’t take the body, she had to take Berreth’s firearm with her and dispose of it,” the affidavit said.

KK is no doubt a liar!

With that said LE has had months to verify critical parts of KK version of events.

I choose to trust LE

I can’t even wrap my mind around a man suggesting such a game. A scorned rodeo queen & her besties, yeah.
Omg, P wrestled steer, he didn’t NEED to blindfold KB.
Moo
if that wicked man spent three hours in the condo and didn't clean up we can sadly guess what he was doing.
and quick doesn't fit the picture.:(

She's just as evil and manipulative as PF. her ability to make PF think he can get her to do the dirty work, while she backs him into a corner, and makes him have to do it. So she can get out of it taking the blame. looking ever the "Perfect Rodeo Queen" a 'victim'. Mean old PF put her up to this, and that, blah, blah, blah. She's a scared, shrinking violet.
No wonder PF said he felt he's being rail roaded. She helped engineer this then threw him under the bus. Once the tell tale Ping led to her door.

MOO
I keep thinking something is not right! What if they planned that she would tell this story to LE. It creates reasonable doubt with the jurors. PF would get off and cant be tried again due to Double Jeopardy. Plus, with the Plea Deal, KK only gets a slap on the wrist! Basically, they both get off scott free. KB is out of the way, PF is free and gets his daughter back, and KK only spends a short time in jail. I'm sure KK would do that willingly for the love of her life. PF is then rid of both KB and KK and gets his daughter back. It's a win - win for him. Hmmm. JMHO.

I’m not sure, and it doesn’t really matter.

The ball is in the prosecution’s court. If she lies, then the deal goes away.

The DA would be acutely aware that she had every reason to lie, and had already lied to the FBI at that point.

So the most important part of their job, was verifying what she told them.

They went on a field trip with her, and she directed them to evidence.

When you really love someone or think you love them and you are terrified of them at the same time. It really messes with your mind on making proper decisions. Not to mention if she already had some mental illness. Not excusing her, but explaining her maybe. You want to please this person because it keeps them happy therefore keeping you safe and your family safe and whatever else they may have threatened if you don't do what they want. You're not thinking that this is insane, you're thinking about keeping yourself and your family from harm. If you haven't been through it, it's hard to understand I think. MOO

Forgive me if I’m wrong. Info coming from every angle and I’ll be the first to admit if I’m wrong. Someone help me here. KK’s alibi is her father saying she was with him at Thanksgiving and that her phone pinged in Idaho? Her regular phone. Not one of the burner phones. What else? What time did she leave Thanksgiving Day from his house? What other info do we have on the 22nd and 23rd for her?
