It does wreak of complicity, but the alternative possible meaning of that phrase that we shouldn’t discount is : it is just his authoritarian personality : do what I say, when I say so, how I say so. (agreements having no bearing on his directions to Kk).
It’s definitely possible that’s the case.

My personal opinion is that she was complicit in the planning, but that absolutely isn’t a sure thing.

IIRC, she told him it was her aunt's gun and she just wanted rid of it.

I wonder how her aunty feels about hearing that one. Sorry, just saying....

I get the feeling that this “friend “ didn’t ask a lot of questions when he was buying a gun to flip moo

I must have missed something. He paid for it? And was going to flip it? I mean it is a realistic assumption do not get me wrong, I am just wondering if I missed that this is known? I thought she just told him like her aunt wanted to get rid of it so KK gifted it to him?? (Eye roll here)...

As I recall, "poison-coffee Auntie of KKL" lives in Colorado.

Would that be the sibling of KKL's father?
Yes, she is his sister. Other family members may live in CO, too.

Speaking of the poison coffee, I have wondered if KK didn't really poison the coffee, but KB was just smart enough not to drink it. I feel KK really did poison it; otherwise, why buy it and deliver it? There is no way for us to know.

My personal opinion is that she was complicit in the planning, but that absolutely isn’t a sure thing.

I do think its plausible that an unhealthy obssesion with PF may have clouded her judgement some, But when you look at the steps she took I would think those details should be thrown right out the window. She made many concious non coerced actions IMO.....

I think Patrick and KK were there at the duplex that afternoon.

A male, homicidal cowboy would never conceive the dumb "sniff the scented candles" excuse or need KK to put on a blindfold. That was a female's idea. That was all KK. If tall, strong Patrick really wanted to use a baseball bat, he would have punched tiny Kelsey in the head and while she was on the ground, he'd pick up the bat and start striking her.

The blindfold was used to give KK time to grab the bat (very likely kept by Kelsey's door since Patrick had her gun) and start swinging.

Links? No. This is just common sense. I'll bet we soon learn that KK and her kids sold those scented candles for 4-H, church, or school fundraisers.
MOO

As much as I can't stand that evil b**** and would like her to have been there and also go to prison, she's got people saying she was in Idaho. We have not seen her phone records which which prove it, though, so I do want to see those. I would assume LE has gone over them and would not take anyone's word for it. At least, I hope not. I'm sure we'll find out. AFAIK, her phone not was pinging in Colorado until after Thanksgiving. While she liked burner phones, she still used her own during the clean up and on her return trip so I don't think she had it one of those little bags or removed the battery or sim card, otherwise she would have done so for the entire trip.

PF terrorized poor Kelsey with his violent temper. While I find the candle and sweater story to be ludicrous, too, I have no doubt he was perfectly capable of beating her to death with a bat because of his rage.

You may be correct, I was under the assumption from SM that he was into gun shows. But that can't be substantiated through MSM and I probably shouldn't have mentioned it...my apologies

Good grief, no. Look at all the photos. Look at the parking area on the alley side of Kelsey's duplex. The parking area is several yards from that short corridor. If a car was parked IN THE PARKING AREA in front of that corridor (the ALLEY side), it would prevent a security camera across the alley from recording who entered Kelsey's apartment from the STREET SIDE of the corridor entrance.

Just had a quick thought.

I used to install security cameras in residences and business, about the time they started being digital, so it has been a few years, but we installed cameras often in the living areas of the houses. If that is the case it is entirely possible that the camera was activated by motion of someone else in the house, but captured through the window PF in the back ground. It is also possible that an IR sensor would trigger through a glass window and depending on sun exposure not pick up outdoor movement at various times of the day.

Just an option the only other way I see a camera picking up the entrance is if it is a perimeter camera. Then I would expect it to pick up anything on that side yard, or the camera would not be of value as a security device.

MOO and I realize my experience was with high end multi-placement installations, so not know ARLO cameras, it is possibly a homeowner meaning well placed it poorly.

I makes it all the more horrific to me to know that he told Kelsey's mother that he loved her daughter after he had so cruelly murdered her and burned her body.

I think what @Gunslinging Granny might be thinking, and if she's not then I am, is that if the camera is located on one of the two houses seen in the background of this photo

and is angled in such a way that KB's door and/or walkway is visible, then a tall vehicle parked in the right spot along Lake Ave could block said camera from said door/walkway.
I’ve driven down Lake Ave many times, it is a very tight 2 lane road with no shoulder and definitely no parking spaces along side it. Unless someone was in an accident and taking up the actual road, there wouldn’t be any reason to be parked up on the road. To that end, if someone were “broke down”, ran out of gas, etc they’d more than likely coast down the slope of the hill, where the shoulder would normally be to get their vehicle out of the way. IMO, there would not be any vehicle (s) obstructing the camera angle if the camera were mounted on a structure across Lake Ave.

Do you know if wind, rain, darkness, or the direction of the sun might effect what the camera picks up?
Our security cameras are quite effected during a heavy blizzard. They are motion sensors and we may usually have 3-7 pages of 30 second recordings on a typical day. However, during a blizzard, the cameras will pick up on it and we have seen up to 40 pages of data after a storm.

All excellent questions for the defense to ask at trial. Right now, LE hasn't given us any of them.
In practical terms, there seems to be streets and sidewalks with all residences and no commercial buildings between the community center and the condo. Not quite the same as parking at Sonic. I'm sure there are cameras all along the route in Colorado, but once crossed into Utah it gets a little less population. Like it falls into the Category of "little or no" population. Then you hit the strip from Castle Gate through Salt Lake City to Tremonton, Utah, fondly referred to in the west as "the Construction Zone". There's a few short miles of farmland, and then the Great Idaho Lava Flow. It's kind of like driving through a Hawaiian volcano, except the lava is all cooled. Lots of cameras. but they're mostly in people's hands. There is a very popular rest stop in that stretch, but it's huge. I wonder how many black cars stop per hour? One hundred? Two hundred? I just can't wrap my imagination around a realistic number. It's optional to wave at Pocatello as you zoom on past it, then pretty much nothing but a lot of traffic until the turnoff to Hansen. If the defense got someone working on it right now, they would find at least one camera on that route that LE didn't think to check, by the time trial comes up. IMO
This is a fair description of that drive as I make it monthly for work. However I think she most likely took the 86 cutoof and was nowhere near Pocatello. There is for sure an ITD camera on Sweetzer pass though, but not sure how or if it archives video. Idaho Transportation Department - Low Bandwidth Web - Camera - Sweetzer Summit

No need to apologize and my intent was not to call out, I thought I missed something. It makes total sense. I actually assumed at the very least KK owed him for something so gave him the gun as a payment for something at some point in time.

I had asked this question before and if somebody answered I must have missed it and I don't know how to flag any of our attorneys on here to ask. But my question was, once PF's trial starts, will the jury be told about KK's plea agreement and/or what her charge actually is? I have tried researching it but can not find an answer. Thanks in advance.

This is a great question and I think we need one of our attorneys to answer your question.

I did find something close but I dont think this is exactly the same as what you are asking but it is close.

One thing I have seen a few times during a trial is that a paid witness for the prosecution was directly asked by the Defense team if they are being paid by the prosecution for their testimony. I cant remember if objections overruled it or not so not sure if that question was ultimately allowed or not.

Here is the information I found which is really interesting and is somewhat close to your question with a surprising answer. But we really need an attorney to answer your question you asked.

"Plea bargains also allow prosecutors to protect government informants. Many informants have criminal records. If a case were to go to trial and the informant were to testify, the defense in many cases could impeach the informant with his or her past criminal history. But in the context of a plea bargain, the prosecution does not have to turn over an informant’s criminal history to the defense (United States v. Ruiz, U.S. Sup. Ct. 2002)."

I don't remember it ever being stated exactly what led them to the conclusion KB was killed in her townhome. It could have been the blood, or it could have been brain matter, organ tissue, etc. I think that's was linked to the consumptive DNA testing. :(

Gaaaaaah how flipping sad is this to even type, I'm so very sorry for the CB, baby K, and the rest of the Berreth family.
It looks like this was three determinations. 1. KB has not been heard from or seen including electronic means such as banking, social media, sightings, etc. 2. There were not preparations of leaving and no evidence of transportation. 3. There is evidence of a homicide of KB in her home, outside her home, at another property, and statements from a witness that directly implicates KKL and PF. Based on this evidence the charges were made.

And here's the Friday update from Woodland Park Police on the search for Kelsey Berreth's remains. They have a lot of help from local & state agencies. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney

Well since Necro Search International is thanked, i would assume they have an expectation of finding some form or Biological evidence or remains.

slater and may have both stated that they can verify kk location on the 22nd. I’m not sure I can say they aren’t being truthful and I sure as heck don’t think they have been fooled.

That’s my opinion and that’s what I believe to be fact. All else goes against what I know about LE.
I think if anyone would have investigated this witness for their whereabouts would be this DA and the investigative team.

I think Prairie Wind is here somewhere, but I'm guessing the jury would at least be aware of what the charges are since she already pleaded. Whether or not they would be told I have no idea. I don't think it would be too hard for them to figure out. Imo

Trials are so fascinating and some of the strategies a Defense can play is they will sometimes ask a witness a question that they know is not allowed and even though the Prosecution team will object to the question and it will be sustained by the judge, the Defense has let the cat out of the bag and got their point across to the jury.
