It might help if you gave a link as to where you heard that KK and PF went to pick up a truck at KB condo.

I have never heard that before.
Agreed. That's why I asked a few posts back if anyone knew of where that was stated or did some of us just "imagine" it :)

It might be a confusion of two different things.

At one time. .He went to the condo with a friend,

and and another time, totally different, then he went to pick up his truck with a friend but that was not at the condo m o o

Two separate occasions in my opinion.

The more that there is no news, and it is a year-and-a-half to two years out to the trial, the more that there is a possibility for misinformation and misrecollection that we need to catch soon before it gets legs on the threads?

You know how commissioner Gordon uses Bat-Signal to summon Batman?

We have that here:

@PommyMommy We need you!

Yes, two pairs were taken - items 48 and 49. Both Khombu, size 12 and 12M.

Also two pair of Columbia boots size 12 so that is four pair total.

I need some help! I'm really stuck on PF and KK returning to KB's condo to pick up his truck. I need to find where this was mentioned and whether or not we can determine when that happened. I know others have brought it up too but I'm beginning to think we imagined it :)

My understanding is that KK met up with him at the Conoco gas station after her cleaning spree. It's stated that they went to Nash Ranch to pick up the tote and they brought it to the Franchette in the red truck on the 24th. I'm assuming it was PF's red truck but let's face it, he had KB's truck keys at his disposal as well during that time.
Not sure why I'm so hung up on this point.
I’m with you on this, there is obviously something that hasn’t yet come to light on this piece of the puzzle.

Still, I’m confident that it won’t be a hard stop for a juror. I think there’s enough evidence that we are aware of to nail PF. IMO

Yup.

There are going to be multiple delays, multiple motions, and I wouldn’t be shocked if PF fired his lawyers down the road.

That would push things out even further.

If we’re confused now, it’s not going to get better with time.

Best to catch it early.

Does anyone recall if candles were on the list of the items KK cleaned and disposed of?

Just struck me as odd that since they were part of PF’s story to KK she did not mention finding or getting rid of them.

Were they something PF disposed of? Or they were the one thing no blood got on?

KK making no mention of getting rid of them makes me think they never existed. IMO
If the candles existed and were lit they had hot melted wax in them . If a drop of blood flew in one and then the candles were blown out the blood could be suspended in wax. In order to get that blood might require consumptive testing.

Lol. Slater said PF and KK returned to the townhome on 11/24 to get PF's truck. It's on Tippy's timeline - I'll see if I can find a link. MOO

I remember that bothering me too. A problem is that for them to "go back and get his truck," his truck had to be left there and neither KK nor PF as I recall, ever said that he drove his truck back there. It either puts him driving back there or having left his truck ...when? 11/22? 11/23? 11/24? and then driving another vehicle in the interim. there is discussion about him having at least 3 trucks (red/white/"dark")
I think in a thread away in Oz we theorized KB drove PF truck home the night after checking cattle then she goes to get him stomach meds, so he if came to her condo the next day he had two trucks there. IMO if that theory is true one of his trucks was in the alley where he said he picked up a Baby K
Edited by me a gremlin jacked with my words.

He certainly does now, as it’s not like he has much hope of ever driving them again.

Or anything for that matter.

He might get to drive the donkeys home after they are loaded with all the rocks he may be breaking. He has talent we know he has a mean swing, he would be such a asset to the rock pounders.

Ha! I don’t think “hard labor” is a thing in Colorado.

I wouldn’t trust this guy with anything he can swing, anyways.

@Tippy Lynn, can you tell us where this came from? I'm having trouble finding
a link for it. TIA :)

Fortunately, stupidity is not a defense.

Intelligent people make bad criminals; people like PF, make terrible criminals.

You’re right, “saying he did so, does not make it true.”

The evidence saying that he did so, certainly seems to prove that to be the case.

Perhaps a lone cell phone transmission at a single moment in time can be wrong.

But when you’re talking about two days of phone locations, two days of cell phone interactions, then that is astronomically unlikely.

He lied about when he last saw Kelsey, this fact is not in dispute.

He told lies to Doss and law enforcement, this fact is not in dispute.

Discount the phone locations and what are you left with:

Two days of phone calls and texts with a dead woman.

Still damning.

Yep. What you've just cited is a whole passel of indisputable truths.

Believe it or not, all of that's likely just the tip of the iceberg.

There's also all the evidence we haven't heard about yet, and likely won't hear about until the trial, eg., the plethora of forensic evidence collected at both KB's and PF's, PF's computer searches, voicemails, text messages, and/or email messages he sent to KK r/t his soliciting her to murder KB, etc.

The evidence we know of to date is damning to PF.

The evidence we find out about at trial will be infinitely more damning to PF.

The evidence is what will seal his fate, because the evidence is what proves him to be guilty.

JMO.

Ew, you conjured up a horrible image, not the bat swinging! Sorry, dirty mind here. Hoping he finds a nice girlfriend in prison. Maybe a Pat! Moo

Just read this again. This is probably nothing but I'll run it by you anyway :) These excerpts bring me back to the question of the consumptive testing.

Live blog: Patrick Frazee appears in court for preliminary hearing

"2:18 p.m.
Frazee, per Kenney, used a ladder to put Kelsey Berreth’s body near a big haystack. They took the tote with her gun inside.

2:27 p.m.
In conversation with Kenney, Slater says Patrick wanted to make it look like Kelsey Berreth just went off on her own. That’s also why Kenney took Berreth’s gun.

2:41 p.m.
Kenney, on Dec. 20, said Frazee had to climb this large stack & go to the back to grab the tote and a plastic bag containing Kelsey’s gun. The tractor was used to bring the tote down from the top of the stack, Slater says."

So, if the gun was inside the tote, when was it taken out? Was it given to KK's high school chum in the plastic bag? If the gun was in the plastic bag and the bag was at any time IN the black plastic tote with the silver handles (couldn't resist) with KB's body, could there be minute traces of KB's blood on the plastic bag? PF would be really, really stupid for this to happen, but hey, we're talking about PF, right? :) JMT

eta: early in the case there was concern about how to bring evidence from Idaho to Colorado, right?
Your post made me think of something I hadn't before.

Could PF's touch DNA be on the ladder used to put the tote on the haystack?

Could bits of the hay have been found on his boots or on any of the clothes at the ranchette?

Several Forensic Files episodes have shown how specific the DNA is in plantlife, even showing exactly what time of year it grew.
