Thinking of Kelsey.....Easter is coming and I'm sure Baby K will wondering around hunting Easter eggs. So sad that her momma won't be there with her. Not giving up hope at the landfill.
If KK put a match to the place, surely the blood evidence would have been cleaned up.
This would have been an immediate smart response.
However now we have evidence throughout the home, which implicates KB being murdered there.
MOO.
Yes, two pairs were taken - items 48 and 49. Both Khombu, size 12 and 12M.

What I find interesting is that in the Walmart video Patrick appears to have on tennis shoes. At least they look like athletic tennis shoes to me, and not boots. Anyone else?Yes, two pairs were taken - items 48 and 49. Both Khombu, size 12 and 12M.

He won't tell them where the body is so is he waiting to see if he gets off this, then he won't have to tell them. This whole case is driving me nuts.

No matter what happens, I don’t see him ever confessing to any part of this.
That includes the location of Kelsey's remains.
He beat Kelsey to death, the least of his concerns would be the well-being of Kelsey’s family.
Just read this again. This is probably nothing but I'll run it by you anywayThese excerpts bring me back to the question of the consumptive testing.

Live blog: Patrick Frazee appears in court for preliminary hearing
"2:18 p.m.
Frazee, per Kenney, used a ladder to put Kelsey Berreth’s body near a big haystack. They took the tote with her gun inside.
2:27 p.m.
In conversation with Kenney, Slater says Patrick wanted to make it look like Kelsey Berreth just went off on her own. That’s also why Kenney took Berreth’s gun.
2:41 p.m.
Kenney, on Dec. 20, said Frazee had to climb this large stack & go to the back to grab the tote and a plastic bag containing Kelsey’s gun. The tractor was used to bring the tote down from the top of the stack, Slater says."
So, if the gun was inside the tote, when was it taken out? Was it given to KK's high school chum in the plastic bag? If the gun was in the plastic bag and the bag was at any time IN the black plastic tote with the silver handles (couldn't resist) with KB's body, could there be minute traces of KB's blood on the plastic bag? PF would be really, really stupid for this to happen, but hey, we're talking about PF, right?JMT
eta: early in the case there was concern about how to bring evidence from Idaho to Colorado, right?
I need some help! I'm really stuck on PF and KK returning to KB's condo to pick up his truck. I need to find where this was mentioned and whether or not we can determine when that happened. I know others have brought it up too but I'm beginning to think we imagined it
My understanding is that KK met up with him at the Conoco gas station after her cleaning spree. It's stated that they went to Nash Ranch to pick up the tote and they brought it to the Franchette in the red truck on the 24th. I'm assuming it was PF's red truck but let's face it, he had KB's truck keys at his disposal as well during that time.
Not sure why I'm so hung up on this point.
Well, maybe not much more than we already know but it would add one more nail to PF's coffininteresting, but as per KK's story, she, PF and KB all handled the gun. unless it has KB's brain matter or the DNA of some one else whom we have not discussed as a suspect, what would this tell us? It does seem likely that the gun and the bag could have escaped cleaning by KK. (all speculation)
Fortunately, stupidity is not a defense.I can’t stop thinking about the phones.
There is so much evidence that puts PF being ridiculously stupid enough to text to KBs phone within such close proximity to him. Pings prove it. I think we can all agree nobody is this dumb to text a phone in our back pocket and travel with it after we killed a person. Nobody would do that in this day and age it just does not make logical sense.
Saying he did so does not make it true.
Is Kk in the area and has control over KB’s phone at this time. Does PF actually know KB is deceased? Is he actually texting her or KK per KB’s phone ?
You see, that's the thing! KK pointed out other "similar" black plastic totes scattered around the franchette on her "walk around" with LE on the 21st. During the preliminary hearing Steigerwald asked Slater (I believe) if he knew what PF keeps his tools in, or something to that effect. PF was spotted with a black plastic tote with silver handles in the bed of his truck on video. Is it possible he put another black tote with KB in it into to bed of KB's truck and took it to Nash Ranch? The neighbour said she saw all three vehicles there. Did PF get there first before KB got back from Safeway and it was HER red truck that was parked behind the other two vehicles (PF's red truck and her green Toyota) horizontally? Did PF go to Walmart with baby K in KB's truck and then return to play "guess the scent?"I remember that bothering me too. A problem is that for them to "go back and get his truck," his truck had to be left there and neither KK nor PF as I recall, ever said that he drove his truck back there. It either puts him driving back there or having left his truck ...when? 11/22? 11/23? 11/24? and then driving another vehicle in the interim. there is discussion about him having at least 3 trucks (red/white/"dark")
They were talking about the rest of the forensic testing, as being the reason for the delay. If Sam and KOAA are correct in their 03/04 article, then the delayed arraignment/plea has nothing to do with the consumptive testing as this is what was said:
"In addition to those decisions, the state and defense agreed to move a decision about consumptive evidence testing until after Frazee’s arraignment.
Consumptive testing involves evidence that can only be tested one time, likely due to the size of the evidence or the material in question.
That piece of evidence remains unknown following Monday’s hearing.
Frazee’s arraignment is now scheduled for Friday, April 5 at 8:30 a.m., when he could enter a plea."
They wanted the testing delayed until after the plea. Now the plea is delayed waiting on that? Which came first, the chicken or the egg?And if one never occurs, when does the other?
And here we are weeks later, no arraignment and no consumptive testing process agreed to yet.
It must not be the results they are talking about as a reason for the delay...

From Sam:
Both parties want seven more weeks for forensic evidence testing. Defense feels Frazee needs that information before moving forward.
Dan May talking first. He’s reiterating the need to finish the forensic testing. He says a trial date likely would have been set for August, but they want to process everything first. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee
