Or control. It doesn't seem to me that he had KB completely under his control.

There must have been a reason why he didn't live with her and Baby K. And why they weren't married. Maybe KB wasn't so enthusiastic about PF.

He didn't because she had a career an hour away. From what we know, they did apparently get along well enough to co-parent the baby without going to court about it.
