That is a great summation, but there is one little detail:
The phone call you refer to at 4:43 pm on 11/22/2018 did not go through, despite PF hanging on for 141 seconds of monotonous ring. Again at 4:51 pm on 11/22/2018 PF attempted to call again, and listened to ring for 251 seconds. Was it some sort of signal to tip her to call his burner phone on her burner phone? Was it her burner phone that she gave the number to KB, and then destroyed the phone; or was it her burner phone that she dumped in Breckenridge the evening of 11/25/2019; or perhaps was it the burner phone that she burned in her yard in Idaho with KB’s, and disposed of the melted remains in the hospital crematorium? Just asking.
The prosecution and KK need to be well prepared, because there will be a quiz IMO

Search Warrant 18-120, Affidavit A, Page 14, second paragraph below chart, reads:
“Due to the timing of the search warrants issued, only a portion of RTT records sere captured. RTT data is only retained for eight days for most of the connections on the Verizon network. For up to thirty days, only failed sessions or dropped attempts are recorded by the network and it is not a complete view of all of the phone’s activity. In this instance, all of the RTT data shown from 11/22/2018 through 11/25/2018 at approximately 3:30 pm local time for Kelsey’s phone reflects these failed attempts. All of the RTT data for Patrick’s phone through 11/25/2018 would reflect the failed attempts. One example of a failed attempt would be a phone trying to make or receive a call with poor cellular network coverage.”
Colorado Judicial Branch - Teller - Cases of Interest - The People of the State of Colorado v. Patrick Frazee

"...only failed sessions or dropped attempts are recorded by the network and it is not a complete view of all of the phone’s activity. In this instance, all of the RTT data shown from 11/22/2018 through 11/25/2018 at approximately 3:30 pm local time for Kelsey’s phone reflects these failed attempts."

So the jury will be told that ONLY failed attempts are still on record in the phone logs.
So the assumption that the call did not through is not totally accurate. It might very well have gone though but there are no records of successful calls .

It is her word against his that he called her and asked her to clean up. Maybe she lied? I am not sure why she would lie about that and say she cleaned up a murder scene though.

No.......neither of those calls went through. That is why they were still in the system (and actually still on PF's surrendered phone, I believe.) Some other call could well have gone through, on the Verizon system as you say, on the T-mobile system as others have implied, or on burner phones as I have speculated. All the jury has to go by in those instances is exactly as you describe it........her word against (__?__) IMO

The hospital had a crematorium? Not an incinerator?

It's purpose is to reduce the waste from surgery and emergency rooms, including body parts that have been surgically removed, to ashes. If I have used the wrong terminology, please forgive the error. IMO

This is how it’s going to work.

KK claims a call was made to her. She also makes specific claims about the content of that call.

Phone records show that a call was made, and KK began and completed steps to actually respond to the alleged content of the call.

“You have a mess to clean up,” followed by KK borrowing a car, and driving to Colorado.

Evidence and logic.
Precisely.

This is why I contend that KK's testimony and the forensic/digital evidence are inextricably linked.

DA May is going to weave the hard evidence and KK's testimonial evidence together to make sure the case against PF is securely knitted, knotted, cinched and secured.

By the time that jury goes back to deliberate, it will be ironclad.

I look for the jury to come back quickly with their verdict.

JMO.

Pretty sure that the jury will buy the idea that Kelsey was murdered.

I really don't see how the burn area could contain no evidence of human remains, although it might be very difficult to recover and would need special forensic processing.

The description of the fire, given by Investigator Slater in the cause hearing, was of a 100 gallon stock water tank. That is a standard western ranching term used to describe a tank that is made by several manufacturers, in a standard 3 ft diameter by 2 ft height, actually holding 101 gallons. There is really no reason why any solid material released from the fire would be cast outside of it's container. PF had several of those tanks on the franchette, and Nash ranch used them, as well.
The franchette corral area has been continually used for ranching since 1998, and PF had been in business as a farrier since 2007. One would expect that he periodically had blacksmithing fires going at the franchette, to heat horseshoes for bending IMO

How heavy would one of those be when empty?

They are not bad when empty...I can lift and somewhat carry them when empty and I am a small woman.

I think that might explain how he was potentially able to get rid of all of Kelsey’s remains.

When Mackenzie Lueck’s killer burned her body in his backyard, human tissue was found.

He also removed the body from the burn site, but didn’t have the benefit of an enclosed container.

He wasn’t able to remove everything.

We haven’t seen anything, as the preliminary hearing was about the evidence against PF.

She seems to have a rock solid alibi, and it would have been thoroughly vetted. This will come up at trial, as the prosecution will have to show that PF was the murderer, and KK’s account is accurate.

If they had any evidence at all that she was in Colorado, that deal would not have been made. After it was made, it almost certainly would have been torn up.

It’s never been a secret that the defense would have to go after KK, so the prosecution will be well prepared.

Anyone hoping that KK is going to do something that costs herself the deal (tell a big provable lie), is going to find themselves very disappointed.

That’s exceedingly rare, and happens mostly on tv.

Agree. It would be a Perry Mason moment.

I'd still like to know about her phone records prior to Thanksgiving.

BTW, were the DNA results ever published from the teeth and blood on the bottle of bleach?

I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot about her phone records.

We’ll have to wait until trial to hear about any forensic results. Very little was done by the time the preliminary hearing came around, so it wasn’t presented.

Fortunately, trial could begin in less than a month.

Wait, wut?! What do you mean, "could begin"? I thought it was scheduled for 28th. Has some potential hangup developed? I hate the thought of this dragging into Thanksgiving.

Ha! Well we won’t know for sure until the pre trial hearing on the 18th. Right now, everything seems to be on track.

That could change though.

I sure hope not, for the sake of Kelsey's family.

I just caught a clip about more digital evidence in this on CBS morning show - but can’t find any recent news about this.
