Does anyone know the reason KK gave for not being able to go to the cleanup immediately? If she had nurse duty, she could have easily gotten out of that. Maybe she was just showing a little of uneasiness to the relationship, as when she said she was not going to take the body to Idaho.

Actually -- didn't KK leave fairly quickly. Based on memory..

I recall PF called her late Thanksgiving day -- telling her how awful it was that he had to eat after doing the killing.

On Friday, KK met MG and exchanged her truck for MG's black VW, and drove all night and/or straight through to WP.

KK did the clean up at KB's condo Saturday morning, went to Sonic for lunch.

KK took a nap at the Franch, and attended the bonfire Saturday evening.

KK headed back to Idaho late Saturday night.

I also recall KK phone was pinging Colorado/Utah border around 4AM on Sunday, and not sure exactly what time she pulled into her driveway --given the evidence disposal chores she was tasked with.

That’s some dedication right there.

Yes it is unfair that we will not see nor hear KK nor ma nor anyone testify to judge credibility nor see them in the hot seat.

I want to know when she moved her car (oh I mean the loaned car with expired plates with the gun in it) from the rec center to KB's parking area to pick up the bags and yes, how many were there? How did she avoid cameras going in and out more than once?

Boy Ms. KKL sure can avoid cameras. She laid the rules for her deal with no camera coverage of her through the process of the case, she is not seen on camera at the condo, now cameras are denied when she or anyone testifies, as far as we know there is no camera footage of her trips... Etc.

The girl is sure camera shy
I think the state laid out just enough information to arrest PF. I think there is more info and more video that had been collected, just not released yet.

I have always had suspicions about the gun and KB being wayyyy out on a loan ranch wee hours of the morning.
I can't help but wonder if that had been an original plan that had to be ditched.....
(Way out there depressed and alone and shoots herself).

I suspect the prosecution is planning a "Perry Mason" moment, maybe with KK on the stand or a surprise photo.

I don't doubt there is more info and even evidence than we know. I totally agree.

Some of these questions were asked by the defense at the preliminary though as to video, especially regarding the condo.

Well if they have one, then the defense should have it too being all discovery and information is shared nowadays apparently right down to naming your defense strategy. I would think they have reviewed all provided with a fine tooth comb.

Not arguing, definitely pro-prosecution, but the share it all nowadays rules have largely limited Perry Mason moments.

One thing we do know is if there is one, we most likely will not get to see it on camera :)

Imo.

Yeah that's what I thought, too.

I have forgotten what may have spoiled that as a plan...did KB call her mom or something like that?

I think she indicated to her mom that she got her gun back from PF and now she felt safe or something?
I don't remember all the details but wasn't there some mention that PF told her mother he took the gun away because she held it to her head at one point? Imo

Agree --

While I believe PF was attempting to plant a seed about KB taking off with a gun in her possession, it wasn't clear to me exactly what KB was voicing her pleasure about.

I believe PF had taken the gun in January, alleging KB questioned if things might be better with her dead (pointing gun at her head).

Not sure if KB was voicing her pleasure to CB over having her property returned; pleased that PF trusted her enough to return the gun; or if KB pleased about how she was feeling --trusting in herself at the time.

I guess we will never know.

I think she had a couple slices of pizza between the nap and the bonfire at the Franch IIRC...

Too tired from her day of mopping blood to drive back to Sonic.

IMO - If there’s a Perry Mason moment by Dan May’s team, it will be for emphatic effect only. There is already plenty of logical and straightforward evidence, and we’ve only seen the affidavits and prelim hearing. And they were just getting started.

I expect we will see a steady and systematic delivery of facts at trial that will leave no reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury.

Simply put, Patrick Frazee is about to be nailed to the wall.

Yeah, that's a tough one to figure out.

"After the fire, Slater said Lee told him Frazee told her to take a nap. She told Slater he brought her two slices of pizza and an Ibuprofen because she had a headache."

It was after the fire if the Tweets are right from testimony.

I wonder if Ma welcomed her "napping" there and being taken care of and fed or if she had no clue she "slept" at her house after allegedly seeing the fire from the porch...

Been going back and reading a lot and the video was worth it too. I remember most things but they are good refreshers.

A child was found safe today. What a happy note to end on. Good night. :)

I don’t think that was KB texting her mom about the gun. If this is correct, Kelsey was already dead when that text to Cheryl was sent. This would have been PF, setting up the suicide scenario.

Berreth spoke to her mother, Cheryl Berreth, about 9 a.m. Nov. 22. Cheryl told police her daughter and Frazee planned to have Thanksgiving dinner together with their young daughter.

Cheryl Berreth said she received a text from her daughter later that evening that Berreth had gotten her gun back from Frazee and she was excited to be able to go to the shooting range again.

Oh, that explains it. After the fire...Sonic was probably closing by then.

Didn't the text say something about her "feeling safe now," or something?
Or was that what she said on the phone?

Yes. That part was left out of that reporter’s Tweet. Another reporter had it though:

Slater said Cheryl got a text from Berreth's phone later that day (11/22/18) saying she was glad to have her gun back from Frazee, that she felt safe. Cheryl told CBI Frazee previously took Berreth's gun after the couple argued about finances, and Kelsey put a gun to her head.

I think KB was still alive on Thurs 11/22 from 12:01 AM until midday when PF swung the bat.

What time was the tweet sent? That would confirm if it was by PF impersonating KB.

I also think @MsBetsy and I both must have read a rogue tweet somewhere!

The Tweets seem to go chronologically, as that’s the way the testimony went.

Assuming that is the case, we’re talking about a phone call between Kelsey and Cheryl on Thanksgiving morning, and a text message later that evening.

No specific time is given, just the vague timeframe of “evening.”

Kelsey was murdered in the afternoon, which would mean that the text message was sent after her death.

I think we figured this out months ago, but I can’t find the posts.
