What would you consider an indication that you'd be willing to accept as a sign of terror? There seem lots of anecdotal interviews with commuters in the various reports. There was one MSM report during the morning rush hour that mentions, IIRC, a percentage of decrease among the 200,000 plus commuters per day on I 10.
A decent public opinion poll is what's needed - not the sound bites that reporters pull out of people in man-on-the street interviews.
And even those are usually pretty underwhelming, e.g., "Juan Campana works at an appliance business near where many of the shootings occurred. He was surprised to look up and see helicopters on Wednesday. Campana said he's not taking the freeway anymore". (From this Fox News Story by Edmund DeMarche.)
I'm not sure that there isn't a lot of real fear out there - just that I haven't seen real evidence of it. If people are going to make that claim, they should have some basis to. Otherwise, telling people that the populous is scared amounts to self-fulfilling fear mongering.
