No, I don't think it involves immigration issues. The crying guy is totally legal, but into some shady stuff. He's my age, or maybe slightly older so 40ish. I'm guessing he is just a friend to her or the family. We cross paths on the very rare occasions I go out with that particular group (mostly because I got sober and they are big partiers and trouble).

I think the press is leaving something out, and pointing the camera at him without saying why. What kind of trouble do they like to get into?

I have friends of friends of her mother, and I am sure mutual friends with Rita, my Facebook feed has lit up with her missing poster but nothing more than that.

Obviously the person on the other end of the phone is #1. If it wasn't anything to question, that person would have already come forward.

Golden Ponds of all bodies of water is an odd place to go if nothing in particular led them there. Phone pings? There are railroads and other creeks and ponds throughout Longmont, the creeks aren't very high yet.

The car in Clover Basin...that's unusual and interesting they say they think it is not linked. Come on now. We don't usually have a woman go missing and a car linked to a person with arrest warrants pop up in one week's time. Were they searching Golden Ponds and Clover Basin at the same time and found the car in Clover Basin?

Also, if she liked to jog around McIntosh (editing here, I thought it was private land but it looks like it's a good 3.5 mile loop around and open to public), I'd guess she's living in that area between Airport and Hover, south of 66? Not crazy important, but it could be I guess. If it were a person living near her.

No, I the guy I was referring to is GE...he's on my FB friends, but I'd classify him as an acquaintance to me. I think the car thing is weird, especially in combo of the info that was passed between friends. I can't think of any reason to submerge a car besides hiding something. And the person the car is registered to apparently has warrants. For what I don't know. I'm gonna poke around before I hit the gym lol

All I've read on here is that her ex-husband lives in Mexico. I don't know about the car but a local might.

On Monday, The Longmont Police Department posted on social media they are now seeking anyone who was in or nearby the parking lot of the 3's Bar with access to Coffman Street between 2:15 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. on March 18.

This includes bar patrons and employees, delivery trucks or designated drivers who may have seen Gutierrez-Garcia. Also, police are seeking anyone who has seen or spoke with her since that time.

My guess is that they do, as I have seen a name and other info thrown around...but those posts/comments are now deleted. I'm thinking this is why mom wants people to not disclose what the police haven't already. It could also be that this rumor is wild speculation, but that would be a bit odd.

It seems there is decent interest and media coverage of her case at least, would others agree that it’s being covered pretty well? I feel so badly for her kids and family. Sadly I can’t imagine this ending well...any time we have a mixture of alcohol, a late night, and a missing woman (or man for that matter) things never seem to end on a happy note. I hope that I’m wrong.

It is definitely a populated part of the area. Not sure if they were searching due to pings or a tip. The area east towards Lashley near the train tracks and up to 19th used to be pretty bad for many reasons. I'm up that way tomorrow so I may look during the day on foot.
