"Everybody continues to look and if she’s out there, she knows everyone is still looking for her," said Kellie Kaufman.

Kaufman said Rita worked at her restaurant and describes her as a nice woman devoted to her kids.

"Its heart breaking. It’s almost two weeks. I feel really bad for her family and I know they need answers," said Kaufman."

I am so frustrated with this case. The LPD should have someone looked into but I'm unsure if it is happening. In any case, bump to the top.

I am born and raised in Longmont and the one bar you don’t stop into is 3’s. My brother in law is cop and he told me he whatever i do, he better never catch me in that bar. Nothing good comes in or out of that place. My girlfriend was a bartender there and is now in prison, but said they’d do Line’s of. cOke ans meth right with customers on shift. It’s shady

that’s an extremely high BA. If nothing else, this trash bar needs liquor enforcement to step in cause they might be the only one who could get them shut down. Any bar that is serving customers that much alcohol needs some checks and balances, that means almost 35% of the blood circulating through his body was pure alcohol. That’s a dangerous high limit. Praying something turns up, as a single mom you know she wouldn’t leave her kids.

The transients are a total issue here in Longmont, and they migrate all over that area, but it’s usually issues with one another. But i have run into some violent ones who are just mad at the world.

Thank you, someone else on here said it wasn't, but simple fact is I have two sets of friends, one from my sober life, but some from my past. Speakeasy's and 3's are both known for that. I've submitted what I know to police, especially regarding the train tracks and oil drums that are in certain areas of town. If you have been around Longmont for any length of time...that is the area. I was around in the group therapy days...if you remember that bar.
This case makes me sad because it should have been me...I kinda already know the outcome.

"Police are now calling the March 18 disappearance of Rita Gutierrez-Garcia "suspicious," according to a*Facebook poston the Longmont Fire, Police and OEM Facebook page on Monday."

"In the Facebook post, the Longmont Police Department asks for home or business surveillance video that may show Gutierrez-Garcia walking alone, with another person or getting into someone's car anytime between 2:15 and 3:45 a.m. on the day she disappeared.

The department has already reviewed video from "several places" in the area, Cmdr. Joel Post said in a phone interview. Post wouldn't say what police have found in those videos, as they are part of the ongoing investigation."

*ftr, rumors are flying (one of them continuing to be that there is a connection to the assault in the alley already ruled out by LE). I've heard a few things and I'm like, no, that is total bs, not true.

Authorities in Colorado are hoping for help in locating a missing mother of three.

Longmont Police are asking the everyone to be on the lookout for Rita Gutierrez-Garcia. She was last seen by friends near a downtown Longmont bar on Sunday at about 2:30 in the morning.

Rita, 34, is described as 5-foot 7-inches, about 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with black leggings.

The police department says Rita has three children and has not had contact with her family since she was reported missing.
