The theory that CW's Father came up with the "story" literally makes me ill.

If I had a son who had done something this heinous, yes, you love your child, but, I would have encouraged him to tell the truth. Making up a story as horrible as this, on the fly, is beyond corrupt.

I wonder if his family will attend the funeral? What is the etiquette of rules on that situation?! Horrible. I think that I would not attend. I would call her family, and express my condolences, and just say I don't want to cause more pain.
Yes! Alleging Dad crafted the "story" is obscene. I believe the paternal Grandparent's will definitely attend the funeral. I understand SW brother FR said things about CW in his grief, but he's also called on people (on FB) to be kind to CW's family as they are grieving, and victims as well.

Check out the video posted earlier today. She definitely could fit in the oil container. They are really big. I think he couldn't lift the dead weight, to put it bluntly, to the height needed to put her in. He could carry the girls. I've come to suspect his original plan was for all three of them to end up in the tanks.

I agree with you. None of them would have been found for a very, very long time if at all.

I know no one wants to back me up but surely someone agrees with me that he didn’t confess to murdering them all!!??
FR specifically said "he has admitted to killing ALL my family " . Doesn't get much clearer than that. Shanann and both children.

SBM. Source:*(
Question - if someone attempts CPR on another person, would their DNA be transferred to the area around the mouth, where one would pinch the nostrils closed and/or the neck to open the airway?
Same with feeling for a pulse (artery on neck or wrist most common,y used).
*I realize that there may be “environmental factors (oil for days)” in this case, so that may or may not contribute.
TIA

Yes, DNA can be transferred that way, just as ribs can be broken during chest compressions.

"Murder is the unlawful killing of another human without justification or valid excuse, especially the unlawful killing of another human being with malice aforethought."

I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. If we can go hot mess in discussing CW and how he'd never... then I can 100% look at this definition and call him a murderer.

Even if what he said was true, cold-cocking her, breathing life into Cece & calling 911 would be reasonable. Killing her, killing their innocent unborn son(!!!!!) and letting his child(ren) die in the process is definitely without justification or valid excuse. He's a cold blooded murderer. YMMV.

If CW planned this. Wouldn't he take into account the fact that NAU was dropping her off at their house when they landed? All the better for the delay maybe, as it was very late, but if originally she was scheduled to be home sooner, then it's entirely plausible NAU might pop in, for whatever reason.
MAYBE he was hoping just that...

Not that this is the case here, but, no, not all "killings," or homicides are murder. I think that was the point attempted. Not that I'm saying that's the case here, again, just pointing out one could be a killer but not necessarily be a murderer, it depends on the circumstances. I'm not a lawyer, but when we stop and think about it, it makes sense... for example, one could accidentally hit a child on a bicycle with one's car, killing them, so they've committed homicide but not murder.

What does this even mean?

I would think the question is not IF she was murdered but rather does his version of the story mitigate it. I have to believe that is what he’s attempting to do. IMO.

But, she goes on to tell about how her MIL let her older daughter eat an ice cream cone, with ice cream that contained tree nuts, in front of her younger daughter, who had none. The MIL then says something like "well, she needs to learn that she can't have everything she wants". Classic narcissistic parenting on the part of g'ma, trying to pit the girls against each other and ignoring mom's wishes. All nuts should have been put far away, even residue can transfer (from surfaces, hands, dish towels, door knobs, toys) and cause a reaction.

Where did you read about the MIL and the nuts? I missed that. Tx

TY, excellent point as well.
Ugh, as one that’s experiences that feeling from the chest under my hands, it’s just awful. But necessary, obviously.
Results can’t come out soon enough!

I couldn't agree more! My thoughts are CW is very Scott Peterson(ish). I would go so far as to consider him as a Scott Peterson+, because in addition to the murders of his pregnant wife and unborn child, two innocent little girls were also murdered.

IMO, CW apparently really thought LE (and others) were going to believe that a pregnant woman is going to take her little girls on a play date just hours after her husband tells her he wants a separation. She would be doing a lot of things that day, all designed with the intention of protecting herself and her children. She is also probably also going to call at least one close friend because she is going to need emotional support. His most recent story is even more bizarre and illogical.

This reminds me of Scott Peterson when he told Diane Sawyer that he told Laci that he was having an affair (weeks before she "disappeared") and that Laci had been "fine" with it. Diane Sawyer asked him if he really expected people to believe that an 8 month pregnant woman is going to be fine with her husband having an affair and make peace with it. I think Scott Peterson really thought people would buy anything he tried to sell them because he'd been very successfully lying and tricking people for years. I think the same is also true for CW.

If he actually left vc's and text messages for SW that day, they will likely prove to be very interesting!

It's uncanny, the similarities, isn't it? Not only is CW comparable to Scott Peterson, but Shanann reminds me of Laci.

Scott Peterson - Wikipedia
Laci's loved ones, including her mother and younger sister, related that she worked enthusiastically at being the perfect housewife, enjoying cooking and entertaining, and that she and her family welcomed the news in 2002 that she was pregnant.[3]

Oh. Well, as for me, I'll put that idea on my list of "I Don't Think So."

Not quite sure of that either, but so much of this case makes no sense whatsoever.

With respect, while it's been reported, I don't know that it's officially "fact" yet. That doesn't mean he didn't, and certainly doesn't mean I am defending anything, just pointing out that hasn't been verified and wasn't stated as such in the arrest document. I'm sure we'll get better official confirmation at some point.
FR is as close as we are going to come to having inside information direct from LE.
He has not retracted anything he said about CW since then, so I feel sure this information is very reliable. Of course CW could have ( and has) changed his story since then, once he had time to figure a different angle.

Whe

Where was it reported that his family encouraged him to cooperate with LE? I am open minded, but he was allowed to speak privately with the Dad and afterwards came out with the part about being in a "rage" etc. Of course we don't know what the "partial confession" consisted of, do you? I'm waiting to see how long the meeting with the father was, and was it recorded. I don't give any of them a pass now on helping or not helping him form a story. 4 people were murdered.

If that term was added to his confession as a result of speaking with his dad I am going to give the dad the benefit of the doubt. It could have been brought up innocently. He confesses to his dad and his dad says what?? What DO you say to try to understand what your son has just done. It's very possible his dad asked him were you in a rage after seeing her kill the kids. Not that dad was suggesting he use that rather just trying to get his mind around his son's state of mind as it happened. Probably would have sounded good to CW because he had no better excuse did he.

So well said. Thank you. This is all that really needs to be said, but then on top of it, we also have the poor babies being dumped in crude oil, the mistress, the total lack of tears, the chilling hammy TV interviews, and more. CW's story is ludicrous.

Anadarko might want to think about checking all the tanks to make sure he didn't disappear anyone else.
Hopping in just to say I love this wording. :)
