I can’t say that it was what he said during his interviews that struck me as false, it was the way he said it. He expressed mild to moderate concern in his voice and mannerisms, almost as though all the fuss was really unnecessary, like she’s probably at the store picking up something she forgot. There was no OMG! My family has been missing for over 24 hours! Where are they! Help me!
Many years ago, pre mobile/cell phones, my husband was distressed when I returned late back from the video store! He showed much more concern and I was only an hour late! It was hard picking a movie :p I felt so bad, not realizing I had taken so long. :(
I understand everyone is different, some people think I look so calm and never get angry or show strong emotions, until they get to know me. :P

Welcome Mitch. Ashleigh Banfield demonstrated on her show that it would have been next to impossible for CW to see what he claims to have seen on the monitor, in regards to Bella’s color. This statement doesn’t hold water, like just about everything he has said thus far.

Thanks for your response and welcome. I’m in NZ so unfortunately I don’t get to see AB unless I see clips posted online etc. So glad to hear it’s been disproved though

As for the video interviews he did..my gosh talk about incriminating himself. I knew he was guilty the moment he spoke in the past tense.. Eg BW ‘WAS’ going to start.. like he knew she was gone.

The last bit on one of the clips where he talks about his daughters.. eg BW being like him and CC being like SW makes me feel so sad. Maybe it’s my imagination but I felt like I could hear the disdain in his voice when he described their personalities and the relief when he said he missed making them eat their dinner (or something along those lines). As a parent dinner time is a nightmare.. and it makes my stomach crawl to think he may have actually been relived not to have to deal with that again. JMO of course

BBM that one is epic

Is this case in the news over there? Or do you just follow international news? Its a bit off topic but I'm curious.

Yes there has been some news on the case, but very little compared with what is published internationally. Thank goodness for the internet aye !

Anybody in jail needs to be very careful talking to family, friends, visitors, or fellow inmates. There is no privacy, except for lawyer visits. The jail can listen to and record phone calls to the jail. They read the mail going in and coming out. They listen through the phone system when you visit with people through the glass. And the prosecutors would love for CW to make a jailhouse confession to a bunkmate.
I remember the Casey Anthony taped jail visits from family. Mind boggling how they continue to lie with their family begging for answers. TG for NUA in this case!
I'd like to see CW's 'confession' tape, probably make my head explode! :/

I would literally pay to see this guy’s interrogation video.

To watch him slowly come to the realization that he’s been backed into a corner and that he’s been had.

That moment when the blood drains from his face, and he knows his life is over.

I hope the details are not disclosed until trial. And why shouldn't the court protect the family from having to hear the horrific details of the death of their daughter and grand babies prior to the trial? All I can see when I read this is grieving Frank Sr.

I can truthfully say that if were a member of the family, I wouldn't be able to attend the trial. Losing their beloved daughter and the babies is bad enough, but knowing that CW has accused her of murdering the babies will be absolutely gut-wrenching and will open up a whole new world of pain.

Who could ever forget what TravisA's family had to listen to. I know he wasn't perfect but JA was only too happy to indulge his sexual fantasies. No-one ever deserves to die like that nor a family have to endure listening to such disgusting lies. The entire trial is still etched in my brain.

Nothing can prepare this poor family for what's ahead and it's nothing short of heartbreaking.

Yeah. It’s bad enough the tragedy that they’ve already suffered, but to compound that with a character assasination, is unconscionable.

Hopefully the DA does go for the death penalty and CW decides to save his life by taking a deal.

I’m sure the family would be more than happy with that.

I find it hard to think of the word 'happy' in relation to any of this. All I can say is that I hope he's never seen or heard of again, but we all know that won't happen with the endless appeals.

True. Happy was not the optimal word. If he does plea though, that generally limits the ability to appeal.

Do you think it's likely that he'll plead?

If the DA does go for the death penalty, then I do think a plea is more probable than not.

CW’s decision would also be contingent upon the strength of the state’s case. If the crime lab comes back with solid physical evidence, and the rest of the investigation turns up a great deal of incriminating information, he may decide to go for self preservation.

It could be a long time until he makes that decision, as there’s still a lot of work to be done.

What bothers me most is that you only need one juror to vote differently for there to be a mistrial.

Did you read about the case (?) last year where the jurors didn't understand the meaning of the word 'unanimous'. It was unforgettable.

Haaa that’s right, the Jessica Chambers case if I recall.

I wouldn’t want a jury with members who can’t grasp the meaning of “unanimous,” especially in a case as complex as this one might turn out to be.

"I just want them back", and he laughs. Why? Because he sooooo happy that they're never coming back. What a moment to throw in a laugh.

The part that really amazed me was his preening in his T-shirt.

Q. Where'd you get that shirt?
A. Oh, this is a - I think she got it off Amazon but this is my favourite college sports team.

She, not Shanann, she.

It was all "Look at me". His entire family is "missing" and he's talking about his shirt. No words.

I have to say I had never seen a husband whose wife/family was missing actually laugh when saying he wanted them back. Even Scott Peterson tried to at least look sincere--CW could barely control his happiness at thinking he got away with murder IMO -- I am not the most perceptive person, but when
I watched that interview I knew he was involved in his family's disappearance

The Jessica Chambers case was horrific. What a way to die. The first responders will never get over what they saw.

I can't remember how many times the jury was sent back but I think it may have been twice more.

I posted this you tube video last night with CW doing an interview the day after the family was reported missing but before they were determined to be deceased and CW being arrested. I deleted the video last night as I was not certain it is TOS permitted. I am re-posting the video because I think it is very important to the case and especially since I have never seen the video before and I don't recall it ever being posted on WS. I am sure the mods will advise if not permitted.

There are way too many points to list regarding this particular video and I am hoping and certain that others will post their thoughts and observations.

There are several phrases and words CW uses that were also used in other interviews but this is not the same interview as those ones.

I stumbled on the video when it was reported that in the video, CW's right upper cheek looks swollen and red versus his left cheek.

What an absolute creep.:(:(:(:(
Waiting at home for a knock on the door, the Police are wonderful etc, etc.
This is earth shattering: my world has been turned upside down.
Family is beside themselves.

Who caused this!!!!
Loved hearing the dogs bark: hope that was a signal, to their owners.
Hope all these videos are replayed in his head, day after day, everyone knowing he is full of lies.

I just found something tucked away in my voluminous notes: There was some discussion about how much housework SW did/didn't do.

In an Aug. 8 Facebook post, Shanann described how busy her day had been after returning from a "six-week" trip with her family.

"Two loads of laundry, dusted the whole house, cleaned the refrigerator and pantry, went grocery shopping to two stores with the kids, took Celeste to a doctor's appointment, emptied seven suitcases and three backpacks, fed kids a 'million' times, showered, went through six weeks of mail, washed the kitchen floor, cleaned up a kids' disaster and repacked my suitcase for Arizona this Friday," she wrote on Facebook. "All while four months preggo!"

She was no lazybones.
