In reference to the footprint on the bag . Here's a horrible thought . The back seat of his ute ( I'm Australian , not sure what you call his car . Dual cab ute ?) doesn't look very large . Could it be that when placing the bags with the bodies enclosed, into the seat area , could he have used his foot to push the bags in so they all fitted before closing the door ? It's an unpleasant thought but it's what I do when I have my arms full of bags of rubbish and I'm squashing it into my car. Regardless of how it occurred , CW treated them like rubbish not his precious loved ones.
But he probably wasn't barefoot when he loaded them into the truck.

Except that would probably result more in a shoe/boot print, and not a bare footprint.

Agree with this 1 million times. Perhaps the AP was the trigger that made CW act and kill his wife and toddlers. But I certainly DO NOT think any of his AP's could have been involved. The male alleged AP TB was likely too worried about his make up getting smudged to have helped CW with the disposal of bodies. I think CW acted alone. Adding a big fat MOO.

I guess it depends if the AP is evil or not and will do anything to be with the lover.

It will be a very interesting trial. At this stage I'm not thinking any of his AP's were involved. Allegedly. MOO MOO.
What kind of person would help someone dispose of little girls in crude oil? I believe that was all him.

You’d be surprised.

All good thoughts, Mosaic. No rabbit hole retreat needed!

MOO here only.

First: Carrying the girls was probably nothing to him, so any exertion would have been the stress of killing people, carrying SW and digging a grave. No source has yet said what the shallow grave was like. It's been reported the soil is dense clay, hard to dig, but maybe that area had some excavated dirt and he just tossed some shovelfuls on top of the body, nothing elaborate?

Second: Yes, very, very strange wording, huh? Your perspective is interesting there. Maybe it meant something to do with their relationship situation - just guessing here - "she has to listen to me - I've been telling her for months I want out" or "this endless videotaping" or "our excess spending and trying to catch our tails all the time." I could probably think of 20 more potentials, all hypothetical.

Thanks for the feedback. As for #1: if there were recent excavation, as you said, makes sense. #2, I respectfully disagree. He is saying this has to stop/this had to end in regards to the "missing family" and unknown whereabouts. Shannon was already strangled and he was pretending his family was missing and deceiving everybody wheh he uttered the "this has to stop/this has to end".

AB 9/19/18
1. Police reveal new piece of evidence. Motion was filed today requesting CW’s inked bare footprint. Evidence item #26 a bag containing evidence as found at scene. Possible bare foot impression found on bag. Bag would have to be of some type of material that would leave footprint.
2. CW is it doing well and is not really aiding in his defense now, according to People Mag writer, Steve Helling, CW is sleeping a lot, not talking much. Not the person that he was before jail. No indication that he’s struck up any friendships in jail.
3. CW & SW both had Apple watches. If C.W. was wearing watch when going up & downstairs watch would record that. Information is recorded in Cloud.
4. If SW was wearing her Series 3 Apple Watch, Watch is accurate during exercise mode. If you become more active it records. If she was attacking someone or being attacked, it would be recorded. If SW was strangled in bed watch would show elevated heart rate and motions, but no steps toward girls rooms. If she went to girls rooms, there would show increased level of activity, if Watch wasn’t in exercise mode it wouldnt be very accurate.
5. If SW was strangled and her heart stopped Apple Watch would show heart stopped, and last recorded heart activity.
6. (They then played video of C.W. on the porch and he wasn’t wearing a watch during interview)
7. During Thayer interviews Thayers said during no time did CW ever show remorse, he was his normal self, he never once cried. Was on his phone, he ate pizza. It was weird that he didn’t even seem to want to look for his missing family.
Viewer Questions
1. Maybe the friend’s persistence on Monday is what caused him to be caught so quickly. Maybe he planned to take more time to dispose of the bodies, she did not work from home. During interviews C.W. said cops told him not the bother looking for his family, he wouldn’t know what to look for. Guest cop on AB said he never heard of a cop telling a family member not to bother looking, family members know best where they might be.
2. Did SW.’s friends & family ever suspect that C.W. wasn’t quite right? I just can’t imagine there weren’t any signs that this man was a whack job! Richard Hodges, former roommate said he was a great guy. Steve Helling asks why did NU call police so quickly? She must have assumed something was wrong.

We seem to be getting more info from diff't sources about CW not doing well in jail. Given the comparisons to other family annihilators and such, does this match their profiles? Or have most of them been stiff and stoic while incarcerated? Just curious. Everyone is different. I don't believe any of us ever 100% match a certain profile or DSM-5 Psych disorders.

I think everyone is under a lot of stress and pressure, especially in view of the trial.

I read about the death row, it seems that the person who might have been innocent - Todd Willingham Cameron Todd Willingham - Wikipedia, actually, behaved very bravely, even taking another low-IQ inmate under his wing. I don't know about anyone else.

Warning Graphic Description -

I honestly don't think the prosecution is keeping the autopsy results under wraps because it might hurt their case. But adding a MOO! I think they want to make it airtight so that when CW's attorneys file appeals, there will be no grounds to overturn CW's conviction for murdering his wife, toddlers and unborn son. MOOing loudly, yes.

My little grey cells are working overtime, but lets just say, CW's finger/hand impression is found on one child only, Cece.

CW's story is that SW was actively strangling Cece when he rushed in and I assume, wrestled with the enraged SW to release her grip on Cece, and Cece was flung onto the bed/floor and ultimately, CW strangled SW to death.

CW may attempt to explain his hand/finger impressions are on Cece's neck due to his action of prising SW's fingers deathly grip from Cece's throat as he tackled SW. Could his imprint override SW's and could this give cause for reasonable doubt?
Not that I'm saying it will work but they'll try. JMO

I wonder if CW has re-enacted his scenario using a stand in for LE, or more likely at this stage, for his defense team? Will he be required to do the same for the trial?

EDIT: I forgot to add I believe he murdered everyone!

Yeah you’d be surprised how well they get accustomed once they are sent off to prison, jail is a little rougher. They have much more to do in prison, lots of groups, better food then they get in jail and free, can order radios and tvs in quarterly packages for their cell, learn a trade, a job CW would most likely be a mechanic, they even earn degrees.
He won't be a mechanic if he ends up on death row, though.
Facts about Colorado's 'Death Row'

Death row inmates in Colorado spend 23 hours per day in their own cell. The one hour outside their cell each day is for exercise and showering.

Death row inmates are permitted a television, two books, newspapers, and magazines in their cell. If the inmates comply with their educational and program requirements, they are permitted to view movies shown by the facility.

Death row inmates are permitted visitors a couple of hours per week. During the inmate's last week, or "warrant week," they may have increased visiting hours. Each time the inmate is moved, it is done with full restraints and a minimum of two correctional officers.

I agree - don’t see it as being all that relevant but hey, never hurts - belt and suspenders and all...

Someone was like “hey, is that... a FOOTPRINT?” And then they realized that they take fingerprints during the booking process but not footprints soooo... another motion, asking for “stuff”! :)

Not unheard of. What caught my attention is the fact that they are requesting footprints vs shoeprints; not based on evidence found on the home; but based on evidence found on the oil field (which is where CW disposed of SW, BW and CW bodies).

A barefoot print from a bag on the oil field.

I came across this article and forgot to bookmark it and have spent hours searching to no avail. I do recall it coming from an UK newspaper. I'll continue to locate it.

What a bombshell!!!! in the last paragraph. Is this what the defence has been talking about 'leaked information.

Mods, if this is against TOS please delete.

The couple were married in Charlotte in 2012. Public records show that they were each arrested multiple times in North Carolina - he three times and her 15 times - but the charges in the arrests are not known

I wonder if he'll cop a plea to avoid Death row? If he co-operates maybe he'll get LWOP instead of DP.

They said a barefoot footprint on the bag. If he had them in trash bags it could just as easily have been a footprint of one of the victims.

They had the wrong person with a different first name and birth date.

Yah, just leave any thing that were used to carry the bodies. Looks like it. I wonder what else he left.. a shovel?

Perhaps he borrowed it from Casey Anthony, who used it to dig up her bamboo? Pffft.

Warning: graphic post about lividity

I keep thinking about him throwing his children's bodies in the oil tanks. ANY disposal other than a proper burial would disgust me, but to throw them into something that has literally caused environmental catastrophes (BP oil spill, Alaska oil spill, etc.) just seems a little extra. I've seen people post that perhaps CW wasn't thinking clearly or, worse, didn't think it was so bad in those oil tanks. And then I've seen people post that we shouldn't judge because we weren't in his shoes.

It IS true that your mind kind of goes a little crazy when your child dies. Your body can fill with adrenaline. Biology starts taking over and you're not always aware of why you're reacting in the way that you are. With that being said, though...

I live in the mountains in a very rural community. When I found my son, he was dead and it was clear that he'd been gone for quite some time. The ONLY reason that the paramedics took him to the hospital instead of just calling the coroner out to the house is because this is a small town, everyone knows everyone, and they wanted to treat me with respect. Though it was obvious that he was gone, they even went through the motions of revival when they certainly didn't have to.

There were only 2 paramedics on duty-the driver and the one in the back. As they got ready to take off, one grabbed my arm and threw me into the back of the ambulance with the stretcher. He wanted to intubate my son but he needed help. He engaged the tube and then told me to hold onto it. I tried, I really did, but my hand was shaking so hard that I lost my grip and it fell out. As I sat there crying and apologizing, ALL I could think was, "We can't put that back into his mouth. It's dirty! I can't put something that's been on the floor in my child's mouth."

The coroner was hunting on one of our mountains and it took 4 hours for him to be contacted and to get to the hospital. The staff allowed me to stay in the examination room with my son during that time. The police came in, asked their questions, I spoke to the organ donation people, etc but mostly I sat right there in a chair pulled up to his bed. At some point, lividity began to set in. His sweet little rosy skin turned blue and purple and splotchy. The worst part, however, was that fluids began to leak. A thin trail of blood and fluid began trickling out his nose. It didn't make me sad, it made me ANGRY. That something was defiling his perfect little face filled me with rage. For more than a hour, I sat there with a wet paper towel in my hand, wiping away the fluid. Even though he was dead, I couldn't stand to see something like that marring his skin.

I've been a member of many child loss support groups over the past 10 years. My experience was not unique. While the causes of death and our ongoing reaction to grief might have differed, however, one of the main things we have had in common is that we were ALL fastidious in making sure that care was taken with our children's bodies after they were gone.

Care was not taken with Bella and Cece. Whether they were thrown into an oil tank or taken to the woods and covered with debris, they were discarded.

CW seems to be a man who cares about his appearance: he has lost weight and toned up and has a manicured beard. He wears nice clothes. Yet he apparently thought nothing of crude oil marring his daughters' skin, matting their hair. And I was worried about a one-inch stream of blood.

But how could he have been a confidant person? NUA had just thwarted his plans, LE was on to him, he knew they were searching the house, dogs everywhere, etc. I don't see how he could have possibly been confidant. JMO.

I've met a lot of people who are confident but not arrogant. So far, I've not meet one single arrogant person that is not confident as well...
I saw arrogance more tan confidence.

If I recall, early on, the names were similar or same, but it was entirely different people.
