I am curious why they moved to Colorado.

He wanted to be a NASCAR mechanic. What happened to that dream?

The house she owned in NC was far superior to the Colorado house. She did not have enough time to have much equity so selling it was not much of a winner.

He went for a job fixing cars at a dealership. No jobs like that where they lived so they could build up a bankroll in NC? And she had a business that was lucrative enough for her to buy that very expensive home.

It seems like such a silly move.

Her house was so lovely. They moved to a place where the houses are so close you can practically touch the neighbor’s house. So strange to me

I agree. The house in NC was absolutely gorgeous. In a video, SW said she built the house in NC when she was 25 years old and her plan was to build equity. That's a very smart long-term plan.

IMO, it all started because SW had that gorgeous, expensive home.

@MollyDDD Would you have a link for this post as I have not read this previously. TIA

If this is accurate and CW and SW did have a recent new custom kitchen cabinets installed in their home then it lends to the possibility that there are many reasons why people embark on a home renovation project and sometimes they have a long term plans to sell and want to increase the value of their home.
The most common projects for home renovations are the kitchen and bath renos for the purpose of resale.
Maybe her Dad wanted to give them an anniversary gift, of love.

@molly1255 Could you elaborate on what you mean when you suggest "IMO, it all started because SW had that gorgeous, expensive home" What all started?

SW moved out there first. She lived with the family she nannied for. CW followed with a U-Haul shortly after.

SW “hurried to sell her residence and left furniture behind as part of the sale,” the buyer told the Associated Press. A deed for the NC house was signed in August 2012 while SW was living in Colorado, property records show.

CW worked as a mechanic at the same dealership SW did Internet sales for in her free time. They lived with the family SW nannied for during this time. Their boss has been quoted as saying, “He was very passive. She was very aggressive with him. Bossy. Do this. Do that. Telling him what to do. Dominating the relationship. That I do know.”

The couple bought their home in 2013. CW’s name was on the deed.
Bella was born the same year.

They filed for bankruptcy in 2015 with over $400,000 in debt. CeCe was born shortly after.

CW, is such a psychopath, he didn't even process or realize how absolutely abhorrent the disposal of toddlers bodies in an oil container would make him even more of a heinous monster, as if that is possible. For some reason, just the thought of that method of body disposal is ghastly. Completely repulsive and repugnant.

I believe that is part of why this case continues. I discount his complete fairytale that SW killed her babies.
Another reason it's nearly impossible for me to consider he had an accomplice. Who in their right mind would help out?

Ooohh...I completely missed the context of this. My answer would be the same, although I would kick him, straight up, between the legs from behind.
Also, try to go for the eyes or a chop or kick across the throat.

I have spent the last hour searching for the article posted with a statement from the realtor for the sale of SW's NC home. IIRC, the realtor indicated that SW was selling her home so she could join CW in CO. CW had accepted a position at a car dealership as a mechanic.

I'll keep looking for the article. I believe it contained additional information regarding their move, and the reason for it.

Well if he knows that it explains things. He really didn't have time. But I'm sure burying her in a shallow grave wasn't Plan a. I wonder what it was?
I wonder if CW went out Saturday night taking SW's vehicle so that any preparation beforehand couldn't be proven from his company vehicle GPS.

Thank you, but it does not support the DIRECT QUOTE (in quotation marks) attributed to the buyer within the post.

This:
SW “hurried to sell her residence and left furniture behind as part of the sale,” the buyer told the Associated Press.

I was asking for a link to THAT article which QUOTES the buyer.

@PommyMommy The last paragraph in attached link supports @Skekkiec post:

She moved to Colorado from North Carolina with her husband in 2012, according to property records and her social media accounts. She had been in a hurry to sell a house in Belmont, west of Charlotte, and left behind the furniture as part of the sale, said the man who bought it, Byron Falls.

Once again, I am asking for a link to support the QUOTE. No, that link does not have the quote that is in the original post by MerryB.

After SW’s divorce from her 1st husband, she began working at a car accessory company in Fayetteville, NC called Dirty South Customs. Her SM references her sales job there and there are many pictures of her at car shows, etc.

In 2009 she was named in a lawsuit against Dirty South and her boss. The court docs are public & I can link them here if it’s allowed.

This was the same year SW began building her home in NC. It was a beautiful home.

SW stopped working at Dirty South by 2010. She began nannying for a friend & did this for several years. I believe she did various MLMs to supplement her income during this time.

The family she worked for was transferred to CO, and SW & CW followed them out there in 2012. CW had been employed as a car mechanic at a Ford dealership in NC & got an equivalent job at a Ford dealership in CO. SW continued to nanny & worked in Internet sales for the same dealership in her free time.

They bought their house on Saratoga Trail in 2013. SW stated in SM videos that she had wanted to move to CO to “escape the drama.”

Interesting. Nannying must pay really well!

Yea, that whole reason about hiding the smell of his babies' decaying bodies is pretty much bull. How many passersby come round out there in the middle of nowhere? Im sure animals die out there occasionally and it didnt seem to be a problem to put his wife in a shallow grave

Probably would have been dug up by coyotes. Our dog was marvelous at finding dead things to drag around.

I think either someone posted it or I saw it on the news that SW Dad made the cabinets. I could be wrong but I remember seeing/reading that somewhere.

This post lands at random.

If other members ask for a link to info contained in your post, please provide it. It's not fair for others to have to rummage through umpteen posts and threads to try to find MSM to support what you post as fact.

On another note, in answer to some enquiries, yes we do allow the Daily Beast as MSM.

@PommyMommy I did answer the question you posed about the quick sale of home and furniture and provided the link. I think you are confused about the original post by @MerryB below. I will attempt to find the link to support @MerryB post as I also recall reading it before as well.

Or maybe they wanted an adventure to move out of their comfort zone.

I guess I see nothing wrong from moving to a new location.

Again, I regret I never had the confidence to do that.

I guess I don't see the reason to discuss the move. Since I have wanted to do the same thing for decades and just did not have the confidence to do it.

I am wondering why they moved when the financial cost was big. She had that nice home that she took a big hit on.

If her nanny family was moving, that makes some sense. Do nannies make that much?

Please include links for this stuff. Like what the boss purportedly stated.
I believe most of OP quotes are from Daily Beast (now considered MSM).
