IMO, her SM entries were her journal.

I was talking about a personal journal. Personal as in - not something shared on SM.

I also wondered about him perhaps mixing up his words. That usage of 'inclination' stood out to me too initially but some posters familiar with NC pointed out that 'no inclination' to mean 'no idea' is quite common where he grew up so it would have been natural for him to say that.
With 'strangle' vs 'smother', I guess LE would have pinned him down in his interviews on exactly what he meant SW was doing to CCW (in his version of events) and precisely how he admits to killing SW. So I doubt the words used in the summary for the affidavit could be just a result of his misspeaking.
However, I wouldn't necessarily be surprised if it turns out the children were smothered.
Thank Mo for pointing that out for me too.

I think his neighbors camera caught him near the mailbox when he wasn't supposed to be there? Or it caught him leaving the fake threat letters or something.

These nosy neighbors with their dang cameras always living on the same street with some family annihilater named Chris. :)

And IIRC, his mistress was his wife's high school best friend. It was his poor wife who connected them when Coleman was in FL on business once. Poor woman.

There are 3 interviews.
He mentions their names but only when prompted. He mentions and lies about Bella “was” starting Kindergarten the following week, even though she was supposed to start the week they went missing.

He mentions their Disney Princess chairs where they watch Bubba Guppies and sentimentalizes scolding them to eat dinner in order to get desert. He mentions wanting them to come home to “barrel rush him” and knock him over TWICE (in 2 separate interviews)—but it didn’t happen.” Shrug.

He mentiomd that he has had the kids for the weekend when prunpted. He never calls them by name unless he has to and refers to them as “those kids” as in “I just want those kids back!”

He described their personalities (again when prompted). Cece is a “troublemaker” with 2 speeds-awake and wreaking havoc OR sleeping. She’s loud and jumps off of things. She’s like her mom (a troublemaker) while Bella is “ calm and motherly” more like him.

I think calling your 4 year old motherly above all things is weird and possibly creepy. She wasn’t necessarily “motherly” to her younger sister and they fought constantly in videos and according to SW. Bella wasn’t “motherly to CeCe so what is he referring to? She liked babies? She is a timid child but she didn’t start out that way in the earlier pics and videos. The older she became, the more withdrawn she seems to me from my observations in the chronology of her life on tape.

He claims that both kids are his life, or “those smiles are my life” more specifically. What smiles?

If my child goes missing I’m telling you she is: brunette, braids, was wearing a red t shirt when I last saw her. Not talking about “her smile” or how I turn on a rain machine for her at night! But again-we know he’s biding time so this is just filler to make him seem credibly concerned.

We can surmise that he missed doing things with them likw turning on the rain machine & stories & kisses at bedtime.
What a total, nauseating heel!

What about: “please bring my daughters home and help me find them! I love them! My wife Shannan is pregnant and could be endangered because she doesn’t have her medication and my daughters suffer from allergies and asthma!”’ But that’s what people who have truly lost their children do. He was all bluff.

He even wondered aloud if they were “huddled up somewhere”—-Huddled up somewhere? In August? Like they were freezing and forlorn little match girls?

The pathology present in his testimony to his “I want them back” charade runs deep with me.

 I forgot about the Bubble Guppies/Princess chair comment. That didn't make any sense either. Was something pink taken out of the house along with the yellow thing (possibly emoji bean bag) seen in the bags? Could it have been the princess chair?

I think Chris got some of the descriptions of the girls personalities from things Shanann* or other people had said before. The "mothering type" comment strikes me as something a mother might say about her oldest girl but it comes off sounding strange when he says it. JMO.

Here are some videos of Bella with a pink chair I think might be the "princess chair" he was referring to:

Well said entirely, and I really like this line in particular.

CW was the only surviving human out of that house and given that, he holds all the answers. It's very telling that he chose to keep those answers secret from the public (and even worse from family and friends who were likely frantically texting and calling him). It's also very telling that he lied by telling them a different version of events. Even when confronted by LE, he continued to lie.

It was only when confronted with a triple murder that CW decides to tell his truth, and in doing so, he eventually admits to only a single murder. If CW has proven anything to me, it's that he's capable of slowing trickling out the truth, while withholding select details that he feels would benefit himself in keeping a secret. Makes me wonder what else he is withholding, IMO.

It's not a happy ending here for anyone, and definitely not a happy ending for CW no matter what the future holds. Jmo

Not to mention, he's lying to his defense team too...

They "uncovered" a blog or they saw the link on here the night before and decided to give it a whirl? I don't have a problem with them reading here, I just think it's funny that almost as soon as a topic is brought up here on WS, it winds up on TV the next day.

Yeah, wasn't someone on here saying just last night that they wouldn't be surprised if the next thing AB "uncovered" was the Bella Marie blog?!

I think those were really weird, general comments about his children. Like "Look what a good dad I am! I know what cartoon characters my kids like!" When, in reality, those are very famous cartoon characters and most toddlers I know are into them. Almost everything he said, other than the "motherly" and "rampage" comments were general things that could be applied to many kids that age. Telling them to eat their supper, that one had a Sofia the First chair, etc. That whole interview made me feel like he didn't really know his kids at all so he was pulling out superficial traits.

I have a question. Attorneys are not supposed to knowingly present lies to the court correct? So, does the defendant have to be the one to come up with the lies or does their attorney somehow come up with it and get their client to go along with it? For instance, how Jose Baez represented to the court that CA's dad had abused her. Did he suggest that line of thinking to her or did she come up with that on her own? I'm just wondering how these defense attorneys come up with their strategies.

I think that he was very passive, a pleaser, maybe somewhat submissive to SW when he was interested in her physically. And at that time, he took interest in "her" children (because obviously he did not have the inner bond with them). But once he lost interest in SW, and settled on the substitution, she started irritating him, and then he was done with them all. When and how he lost interest in SW is not yet known to me, but I think, whenever he posted profile on the dating site marks the beginning of the end.

Let us folks know when Ashley tells her audience it's strange that he supposedly has a photograph up in his cell of his wife, the wife that killed his beloved children. The wife that he had to kill because she was strangling her children. Pffft

Remember the unbelievably talented moment from "The Schindler's list?" The child in the red coat whom he later sees dead? The shocking reality of the child's death, the red coat against black-and-white film.

The reality of the Wattses' life appears grey, maybe because it is such a cheesy make believe, in which two people of whom we know nothing are living own lives.

But the death of Bella and CeCe brings that shocking red color into the picture.

I hope that killing a pregnant woman is enough to get life sentence. I also hope they will exonerate SW from his vile accusations. It needs to be done. I do hope that they will prove that CW killed the kids, but if not, the rest of the accusations should be enough, it is the same as Scott P did, and then, some.

I just had a visual come to mind. That when the girls sank in the oil, bubbles came up from the oil due to air displacement. Bubble guppies... SMH

I have wondered that as well and I want to know how he was able to get away with such a thing without having to actually prove it.

I think with a fake photo. One of the two people whom he (allegedly) dated said it.

Or starts talking about bean bags.

Yes, they most definitely cannot knowingly lie to the court or assist their client in doing so.

I imagine the way this happened was "Okay Chris you gotta be honest with me, tell me what happened." And then as the details kept slowly piecing together, it was probably like, "Are you SURE that's how that happened? Was there anything else that could've happened that you aren't saying?" Until this ridiculous defense was concocted.

I really want him to have to pay for killing SW and Nico, but I also hope that he has to answer for the girls' deaths as well. Not going through the trial might be easier on the families, but I have this image of him living out the rest of his life in prison without there ever being any justice for the girls. If he did kill them, and I think he did, then it doesn't seem fair that he might not have to answer to that crime and can, instead, continue pushing his sordid tale of SW doing the deed.

Ashleigh didn't call it strange, but she did briefly discuss it on yesterday's show (apologies if you were already aware - I wasn't sure.)

1. CW has photo of SW. BW, and C.W. in his cell as well as a Bible. Is it for show, was he advised by the Defense to display these items in his cell, so he’d look good? Or is CW a man who is deep in mourning? We don’t know what he’s thinking. Scott Peterson had Laci’s photo in his cell. OJ had a picture of Nicole in his cell. There could be an innocent explanation. Prisoners can get permission to have pictures of loved ones in their cells. It’s very common for prisoners to have religious materials in jail. If he’s on Close Watch Protocol he’s not supposed to have reading material in his room. That may have changed, nobody knows. The Weld County Jail has a Public Information Officer who has never once returned a call to AB.

Eww...

I doubt he saw any bubbles rising up in those dark tanks, but let's not give any ideas to the defense. It has been suggested that CW placing the girls in the oil was somehow "symbolic" or "loving". Next they will be saying he wanted to let his beloved girls be just like their favorite cartoon!

There is no explanation for his actions, and I am sure he killed the kids.

But lack of solid evidence, or one hung jury member could be enough to scramble all of it.

However, in the most liberal California, SP got life for killing LP and Conner P. I don't expect less in CO.

Justice for the girls would also mean exonerating SW, so it needs to be done.

Death sentences are almost never carried out, so in reality it would be life without parole.
