Me too. I hope he is miserable but I fear he is not. And I hope he's attempting to hide his visitor logs because he has no visitors. Or support. Or hope. IMO He is a rare monster among the rarest of monsters. It's always so hard for me to accept this evil exists. But it does. jmo
Yeah, I too wish that he actually felt remorse, but I seriously doubt that.

He probably misses his favorite shirt, more than he misses his family.

I hope his vanity isn’t impacted by that good old jail pallor. That would be a shame.

I can't say it enough: CW did not deserve a family. MOO

IMO He certainly didn't deserve the hard working, motivating, loving, devoted mama, friend and wife that Shanann was. He certainly didn't deserve those amazing babies CeCe and Bella who considered him their hero. He didn't deserve the potential of Nico.
And they didn't deserve what he inflicted upon them.

I agree the media will prevail. However, no sitting judge will find the motion odd -- it played out exactly as expected!

Respectfully, the original motion by the prosecutor WAS extremely unusual - the party making it, the rationale proffered and the venue in which it was made. And that’s why the judge ruled as he did.

The current motion is not strange at all.

I remember when I saw the trial for the murder of little Bella Bond that for some of the people put on the stand they read out lists of their prior convictions or if they were heavy drug users in the recent past/possibly current, and the jury was warned that they could take those things into account when weighing the testimony of those witnesses.

I would think the jury would get a similar warning about CW's accusation against Shanann, that he's on trial for murder and has a strong motive to lie about this. The jury has to make the ultimate decision on whether or not to believe anything said by any witness, but they can be warned to take things like that into consideration when weighing the importance or veracity of a witness statement.

Possibly, but all of his statements tie directly to the same murders.

OP was in response to current motion, which was not strange at all.

I'm thinking horses versus zebras. Occam's razor. I think it has to do with mental evaluations which the defense has tried to hide from the very beginning when they Limited the public release and the prosecution release of the visitor logs.
IMO We don't know why the defense wanted to limit the release of the visitor logs and it could have nothing to do with mental evaluations.

According to the article, it could also be health records of the victims.
Yes, I read that as well but IMO if there were physical and/or mental records pertaining to the victims; this could help the defense (of course this depends on the information in the records) so they wouldn't care about sealing the victims records.

He has to request that any outside visitors of his choice be added to the approved visitors list beforehand.

So maybe the mistress went by to talk him into taking a plea so she doesn't have to take the stand in a media hounding trial.

So this is one example thats possible. Because it would look bad if your mistress is visiting you in jail regardless of the conversation had. Jmo

"Colorado law provides that inmates may be tested for HIV without informed consent. Pursuant to state administrative regulations, all inmates must be tested for HIV upon entry to a state correctional facility".

Looks like he was tested upon entry. IMO if CW tested HIV positive then he would not want anyone to know; especially all of his female "fans/admirers":rolleyes: out there. IF he tested positive this could be the reason the defense just recently requested the health records be sealed. JMO

Since CW's desperate 'she did it' defense is ultimately based on her supposed reaction to him wanting out of the marriage, it will be interesting to find out if he actually consulted a divorce attorney. He certainly had more than enough time while she was in NC, but I seriously doubt he did so. He probably did do some research into how much child support, spousal support and other expenses he would be on the hook for, however. MOO

Agree. Her income was commission based for the most part. And those numbers could change at anytime once the baby came. So he would have most likely had to pay child support and alimony if they divorced. But Im sure he Googled those statistics and percentages as well.

I agree this is possible. It could also look bad if you had zero supporters visiting you as well, so it may be a possibility that he wants to hide that. Either way, I think he fears that list, or lack there of, going public will harm his case. jmo

I do not know what OP you are referencing but my exchange with Amandaaa was about the circumstances. There was clearly a legal misstep by both the prosecutor and the coroner and Amandaaa, a VI attorney explained it very well, imo.

I think the Judge might also find it odd and the news media will win.

Do we have a link to the petition for the sealing of the autopsies?

The judge potentially finding it “odd,” will have no bearing on his decision.

The law is on the side of disclosure, and it is probable that we will see the results.

I’m guessing that there is nothing particularly incriminating in there, because of the way he killed his wife and kids, and the method in which he disposed of their bodies.
