Yes. This is not an example of a female family annihilator who showed no signs of mental health issues or instability prior to the killings. She showed a lot:

1. Admitted to friends that she had to seek psychiatric help "for the stress of raising the children."

2. Was suffering major depression before the murders.

3. Actually had a prescription for a sedative at the time of the murders.

4. Showed public anger and unravelling over her husband's affair.

5. Had revealed to her husband that "she was afraid she might hurt the kids."

There were plenty of signs. As there typically are in such cases.

Nothing thus far fits a female family annihilator but everything fits the other way around.
Yes, and had sent threatening notes to her husband's girlfriend IIRC.

IME, if he saw Bella blue, it was while she was still alive as he was strangling her. I have a child with a severe seizure disorder, and during those seizures his lips will turn blue/purple, which spreads to his chin and cheeks from anoxia. Once the spasms stop wracking his body and he is able to take a breath, he flushes pink. If a person could not get that breath of oxygen, he or she would not remain blue, but turn white/pale after death. CW would have only seen that blue during the strangulation. Now if he would have said he saw CeCe blue, while she was supposedly being strangled by SW, that would have been more accurate. But he didn't, because it was an entirely fabricated story. So yes, he may want to recant that little detail! MOO.

Would he have turned on the light to look at his children while strangling them?

Didnt Nua say SW couldn't get in the house at first because of the top bolt lock from the inside or something?
Others have answered, but IMO you're thinking of the day after when NUA tried to enter, CW had made sure that no one could get in from the outside. I would still like to know if he changed the code on the garage key pad.

Maybe. Or maybe it was still daylight out, after the birthday party. Maybe he wanted to see what he was doing. CW is not a normal person. By any stretch.

Perhaps. Or simply turned on the hall light and opened the door.

He shared too much detail by describing the color of the kids.

He didn’t see what he claimed to have seen from the monitor, rather, he saw that color when he was strangling them.

I wonder if she was going to babysit?
Exactly. They obviously had plans for that day. Plus she just recently told Nua that she's going to need her more than ever.

So its not like she was there for a $50 promised loan and called the cops once SW didn't answer while her car was still there.

Do you think you could see that kind of color from a hall light?

Perhaps they usually went to bed with nightlights. I don't know how else the monitors would show anything, but I've never used a visual monitor.

ETA - I'M not suggesting he saw them on the monitor that night, I'm using it as a reference for their usual routines.

In my house you could, but there’s no way of knowing in regards to their house.

He must have seen it to have mentioned it in his statement. It's only a fact he could know from seeing it happen IMO.

It makes all sorts of sense to me that NUA would be meeting her at the doctors' to help with the little ones while Shan'nan had her examination. That's what friends do. And, I think there is something in that CW did not know to cover for her absence at the doctors appt, and that I still think had she been allowed to live for a few minutes when she returned, she would have told CW about the appointment the next day. Since she apparently did not (IMO), I think that argues for his killing her probably upon return to the house. If she had been allowed to go to bed, normally, she would have told him about that.

Same question could be asked of Shanann..would she turn a light on to do that, thus allowing him to allegedly see Bella "blue" on the bed?

Yes it does seem VERY strange that he wouldn't have said she was going to her appointment, but he would say she was going on a play date. Seems like he didn't know.

Agree. It does sound like he killed her before she had the chance to relay her plans to him for Monday.

Example. Oh Im tired and I have to be up at 8 because of xyz.

Not on the monitor, per our earlier discussions on previous threads, and likely not just after she was dead, as was his story, per our previous discussions on when someone might appear blue. And that's his story. IMO.

While I do believe the autopsy reports will be released, and I'd like them to be released, I also believe the information will be horrible and unsettling. Someone who could do with the bodies, what CW did, is far from normal and, in my opinion, a monster. I'm afraid what he did before, is every bit as bad, as what he did after. I also wish the decision wasn't just before Christmas!
I believe the hearing set for 12/21.

Update: Court rules Watts attorneys, Weld DA can join scrap over autopsy reports
Taylor also ordered Friday the petitioner, Blesch, has until Nov. 2 to request a hearing. Taylor said in his order he has room on his docket Nov. 5, 6 and 7. The hearing about whether or not the autopsy reports will be released to the public will likely take place on one of those three days.

Earlier this month, The Tribune, along with a coalition of print and broadcast media partners, contested attempts by Blesch and Weld District Attorney Michael Rourke to keep the autopsy reports sealed.

And if she had told him previously, he likely IMO had not paid attention as he was already tuning her out and distancing.

I think it was a theoretical answer to the question, unless I've misunderstood you.

Thank you.

You're welcome. And to ensure there's no confusion, I think the state would accept an offer of guilt for all three murders and LWOP.

I don't believe the defendant would make such an offer.

There are some ridiculous and sometimes irrelevant bits of gossipy nonsense circling around out there about SW, that I believe have been disseminated by some close to CW, in a desperate effort to cast doubt as to his guilt.

I would expect to see a quick quieting of such nonsense (which could indicate he has talked to his loved ones about a plea), before I would come close to thinking there's a possible deal in the works.

But I really don't think that's going to happen here.

It would be great if it did though. It would spare SW's family and loved ones from more unbearable grief.
