He could have buried all three in graves out in that desolate area, but not at that well site. Like farther out in the brush east of there. Unlikely anyone would be out there ever

Yes, but didn't someone here say that the ground was red clay? If so, I wouldn't think he would have time to do that much digging. I could see it if the ground was soft, though.

Oh I think he was 100% on board with the Thrive. He went from dad bod to buff. Easy sell. He no doubt enjoyed those trips, too.

Now imagine what LE was thinking when they initially questioned him. Family missing, nonchalant, sheets in the garbage, bedding on the floor, purse, car, and cellphone still at home, all doors and windows locked. LE started investigating him right away, I imagine.

Another thing, When SW's friend stated he was just standing in the house, waiting for something to happen, how creepy. I wonder what he was contemplating.

What if your children died?
We already know something happened. He wasn't a monster before. He was a devoted family man and with all of their friends and SM followers, not one person has come forward to dispute that. He didn't become some evil person over night. Whether he killed his kids or not, he was definitely not happy about it. Who would be happy that their family has been killed - whether you did it yourself or not? I still just think he was nervous about being on camera, and also nervous about everything he knew had already happened that would soon come to light.

I think he didn't put her in a tank because he ran out of time---if he left the house at 5:30am and had to drive 40 miles, it was light when he got to the Andarko pump station. Perhaps other workers showed up at the site, or cars started driving by.

I'm certain that LE could track his cellphone whereabouts that day, and they would eventually find those bodies. We don't know whether he regularly worked at that site, but it looks like a place that is run remotely, with no people actually there. You would think there would be surveilance cameras, but maybe not.
I work for a natural gas and electric company and all our remote areas, substations and so on have surveillance. I would be very surprised if these places don't.

I think the dog was howling because he locked it in the garage when it was used to sleeping in the house.

I don't think he was selling it. He was a promoter on paper only. I think she was behind his sales and his posts. He was already working a full-time job.
And he was making $60,000 a year? I hate to say this, but it appears to me that Shannan was living in fantasy land. She said and did all the right things a successful person should say and do, but her method of obtaining money was never going to amount to anything. I’ve known people like that who believe so strongly, but it never happens. I can see that being a source of discord in their marriage. I wonder why Chris took a job with such a severe pay cut. Why they decided to have another baby at that time. They were financially doomed.

That's exactly what I think happened. She was spending her own money to meet her goals. He was probably tired of it and she had become so brainwashed by that time that there was no reasoning with her. This probably pushed him over the edge. But I think more is going to come out.
IDK. Most business endeavors require some sort of personal investment. And a lot of spouses financially support another spouse with an independent business like that. I don't see it as a motive or force driving them apart unless it was a constant complaint and argument and she disrespected or refused to compromise. I don't get that vibe personally. MOO.

Her homecoming was sure a chilly one No hi honey I've missed you so much from either of them She probably knew about the affair . He was probably seething with resentment that she went on a trip and he was stuck home with the kids Did she reach a level where she had to go to business meetings routinely?
I think that night she might have told him she knew about the affair and gave him an ultimatum either me or her Might have threatened that he would lostayed
I think the difference in where the girls were as compared to Shanann is all part of his premeditation and defense. He probably was smart enough to know he would be suspected because spouses are often suspected. So, in order to get rid of evidence on the kids, he puts them in the oils tanks but doesn't with Shanann because he's already decided he will admit to killing her if it comes down to that. IMO

That's the way I understood it, but it might be wrong. I *think* I remember reading that she earned it for 10 months last year, meaning that she had to pay 2 out of pocket.

I know we're not meant to mention other SM sites but since this case came about I've been doing a TON of research on Thrive and MSMs in general. I joined a few forums that are "anti MLMs" and the testimonials and posts are amazing. Talk about falling down a rabbit hole.

And then yesterday a friend came over. I noticed the Thrive patch on her leg right away. Spent an hour grilling her about it. I am completely fascinated with this aspect of the case.

BBM.

I am also fascinated at the Thrive component, and horrified in general with MLM schemes. In fact, a favorite meme says, “Multi-level marketing? Don’t you mean multi-million opportunity?!”

I also appreciate your take on the family dynamics and bedtime of 6:30. Incredibly peculiar to me, but that is through the filter of my life. My family used to garden at 11:30 p.m., though we did live under the Midnight Sun at that time.

Anadanko would be ableto check the GPS on thr truck he uses - it's their truck.

I think LE and Anadanko knew by Tues evening he had been out there at 6 am before going to work & smartly got a drone up there ( maybe it's Anadanko's). Likely found the sheet that night - drove out to take a cellphone photo & compare it with the sheets in the trash = BINGO

Likely they knew there was a grave out there by early Wed.

That is not my idea of a devoted family man.

What if your children died?

True story: I didn't cry when my son died. I wanted to, but I couldn't. You know when I DID cry? Later that night when friends came over and cooked dinner for us. She asked where our potato peeler was and I broke down in tears because I was too embarrassed to say that we didn't have one. It's weird but sometimes in those early days after loss, you have no control over your emotions-or lack of emotions.

With that being said, uh, yeah. None of that applies to him IMO. He stood there looking and talking like his dog had taken off down the street and he was secretly hoping that the new owners kept it.

And he could say she killed them and disposed of them, and he didn’t know where they were, but still he’d still have to pay the piper. He must have had a plan that got foiled where he would get away with it, but I sure can’t figure out what it was.

This was actually my first thought because my dogs do this.

Agree, Layla.

I guess I just didn't see it that way. To me, he wasn't over-the-moon in excitement. He just smirked a few times. Yes, watching the video afterwards after we know what happened, it seems weird that he could "act" so well.

Wait, that was acting? lmao. It definitely wasn't acting "so well" IMO. I knew he was guilty well before he confessed. He is an AWFUL liar. He won't be getting an oscar for that performance, instead he will be getting a boyfriend named bubba and an orange jumpsuit to parade around in his solitary cell for the rest of his life (which will hopefully be taken with the death penalty. Nervous giggle my tush, this man is a MONSTER. And a bad actor to boot. And PS just because your wife may or may not overspend is not a reason to murder her and your children. Just sayin'. MOO.

Were any of these people missing their pregnant wife and two daughters?

I have had to question people that have murdered others and their family members. Before they ever confess, they might rock, hold themselves with crossed arms, get really thirsty, and smile. Even when they talk about their crimes, sometimes they smile. It is really disturbing because their body language does not reflect how you think most people would behave after having killed their family members. Yes, most people behave with sadness, remorse, grief, crying, devastation, but not all of them. The ones that smile, it almost seems like they want you to like them. This is my opinion based off having to question people who have committed crimes.

Somewhat O/T but we here at WS have all seen people happy their family members died, usually at their hand.

That is not my idea of a devoted family man.
All anyone really knows is that he was involved in an affair with someone at work. It might have been going on a week. Or it might have been a one-night-stand. But you reminded me of something. One time my husband was talking to his daughter's stepfather about his hobbies. The stepfather said family-this and family-that. My husband seemed sort of jealous....jealous isn't really the right word...but my husband had hobbies that didn't involve us and thought maybe his priorities were messed up because his life didn't revolve around us like this other man's did. Then about 2 years later he left that family for another woman. So was it a façade or did he just become not as involved anymore? We don't know.
