It doesn't really matter what others think. He has confessed. There is a legal definition to that. It is not open to opinion.
Did he confess to killing the girls? I thought he’d only confessed to killing SW.

IMO it’s overwhelmingly clear that he did kill the girls too. I’m just saying, probably not well because it’s late and I’m tired, that the DA at the sentencing asked CW to make a full admission. In addition to the guilty pleas. That’s factual. My opinion is that he’s asking for that to bring relief to SW’s family; to have CW retract his accusation that SW murdered the girls. IMO

He wants someone to be his life coach and then grows to resent it. He also never gave credit to how much SW did that was good for him, helpful to their finances, to giving the girls the best life possible. Instead he spent years telling other people lies about the very behavior that benefitted him and the girls. Maybe it's a repetition of his relationship with his mother. There's an idea that the majority of us keep doing the same dance we know with different partners throughout life; I suppose that applies to sociopaths as well. There's a pattern that plays out.

I believe it is a combination of a personality disorder and some processing disorder.

31:45 he talks about girlfriends...then goes in to how he and Shanann met

I wanted to ask people who listened to his polygraph exam. At one point I thought I saw him rocking -slightly. At the very beginning. Am I wrong? His speech was slightly monotone, too. Or rather, he is much better with closed-ended questions.

Add to it, not understanding metaphors (Googling "the distance between the moon and the earth), his quietness at school as a kid...in short, could Chris have auditory processing disorder?

Auditory processing disorder - Wikipedia

It is more difficult to diagnose in adults than in kids.

And while he obviously had no dyslexia, understood texting very well and made no mistakes in writing, could he virtually misinterpret spoken words?

Thus, if someone says, "I want you to resolve this problem", implying "the divorce", or "I shall not see you until you resolve it", God knows what he will hear.

Because I don't understand why he sent the text "my family is gone" to NK. As if reporting on mission accomplished.

As to her, overproductive speech seems to be her constant trait, according to her dad.

How can a verbal communication with such a talkative woman be reconstructed by a man who might have problems processing spoken speech? Who knows.
I have a friend whom I am very sure has this condition. She is not unintelligent but she does not hear words like other people hear them. She has no hearing problems but she mispronounces words constantly and sometimes makes up her own words, but she never would misinterpret a direction.

Thanks! I’ve been an avid reader but decided to jump into comments today, I’ve become rather consumed with this case.
Welcome to the Hotel California :D

That's the stuff of sociopathy/psychopathy. It will be interesting to see if his DNA ever matches up with crimes in a database down the road for cold cases.

I am almost positive it won't. His is just an incredibly scary way of resolving a serious personal problem. But with a stranger, there is no problem.

Girlfriends? Plural?

Thank you for the tidbits, esayer. I haven't listened to any of these yet. MOO

True. But you would think had he done it before he wouldn't have left such a wide trail of evidence. If his DNA is found, I can't say I would be shocked.

He pleaded guilty to each murder one by one. Don't give him any credit for saving anyone's feelings, he is all about him.

He confessed, under oath, to killing the babies. What else do you need him to say?
Is pleading guilty a confession? The DA didn’t seem to think so, and turned around to face CW at sentencing to ask CW to give a full admission. It might be impossible for CW to do, but IMO t would certainly bring some relief to SW’s family if CW retracted his monstrous accusation that SW killed the girls.

yes he did confess to killing all 4 of them. He said he was guilty.

I have yet to ever see them acknowledge Nico.
No and neither did Chris. He kept saying I didn't kill my babies. Umm Yes you did and you admitted it.

  • #995
IIRC, Cindy said Nico wasn't wanted. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. :( MOO
Yes and that was another malicious dig at SW through their unborn grandson.
How awful is that woman?

I think I may have missed a large part of the interview because the woman was driving me crazy being so touchy feely. They did a great job reeling him in but I hate they drug SW through the mud to get there. JMO
From a professional standpoint I understood what they were doing and why they were doing it but still found myself cringing at certain times. Those of us who always believed he was guilty based on the available facts that then had to endure listening to people slander her based on only his lie are sensitive to victim-blaming.

Yes, because you talk to her directly. But how was her understanding in a noisy classroom?

Now imagine someone with this disorder having a conversation in a restaurant with someone overly talkative.

The choice was still his, he is a criminal. I just wonder how the heck he thought, and what was in his mind when he got that idea.

Pleading guilty is a confession. A full admission is how and why he did it.
