Watts eventually admitted he loaded their bodies into the truck and dumped them in an oilfield.

ETA: Best part of this video is right at the end. Chris in handcuffs!

In this video he is pulling up in the truck and it sounds like a diesel if that is the noise I hear And maybe the company does allow them to carry extra fuel but I doubt it as they would fill up before starting out on their runs.
And is it just me, or does it look like he immediately takes a left and bounds down the stairs into the basement as soon as he enters the house?

This is hard to say but I think he might have planned on burning them but when smoke is spotted anywhere in Colorado it is reported quickly because of fire danger. Even out in Roggins it would have been spotted miles away.
On the first day they went missing , SW's mother told LE she suspected foul play and that he would pour oil on the bodies. I always wondered where she got that idea from....

I highly doubt he was planning to blow up the tanks. His family goes missing and then the tanks at his work site explode? Even Chris isn't that dumb. He likely would have been killed himself. He would at least know that much. Imo
Idk, per his previous actions and statements I think he has proven he is that dumb.

He may have thought he would start a fire and grabbed gas tanks but when he got their he forgot SW wouldn’t fit. No other explaination as to why he had gas cans, unless maybe he was going to just keep driving and wanted Extra gas?
Maybe he originally planned to burn them, but the late flight pushed at least her murder back and he ran out of time?

Yes he bounds quickly down those stairs,,,I wonder if they followed him?

I remember he said he loaded everything in his truck like he normally did, but don't recall what he said about the gas cans or if they asked him about it. Jmo
It’s pretty important. I want to know everything he did that was out of the ordinary.

I noticed CW was wearing a dark/black long sleeved shirt in the neighbor's cam on the morning he disposed of his family's bodies. Later in the day, he arrives home wearing a light grey long sleeved shirt. Wonder why he changed clothes?

ETA: Best part of this video is right at the end. Chris in handcuffs!

I noticed this, too, but wondered if the dark shirt was just an overshirt or uniform. I saw a glimpse of the “whoops, we didi it again Nico reveal SW posted where she shows Inmate Watts (thanks, PommyMommy, that just rolls off my keyboard!) on the HLN feature where a crime reporter and psychologist analyze videos of him and he is wearing a similar, if not same shirt. (My iPad does not screenshot off of my Sling app or I would share one in this post.)

I felt the same about seeing him cuffed and starting out his perp walk. One of the very best vid clips in the discovery!

Also, notice he has his garage door opener in his hand. Is it normal for him to carry it in and out with him? Or was it his way of controlling access so he could enter first?

I know, seems crazy, but within the last few years several Anadarko battery sites in CO have blown up/burned...

Awe man.... not even CW's pretty shirt and flip flops could prevent him from being cuffed!

As usual, I'm sure I'm way behind you people.
I'm watching part 3, polygraph video.

CW says the garage door and basement door stayed open at 5:27 am and 5:26 am respectively. How did they close back up and when, and by whom?

Some bad stuff happened in the basement that morning. Door left open.. Later a cadaver dog sensed something in there..

Looking at the interviews between CW and LE and CBI, it appears this dude thinks LE and FBI are his buddies and on his side. What an idiot.
That's exactly what they intended to do. Naturally he fell for it.

He’s talking about observing the babies at the beach in SC, them jumping on the bouncy rope things and the fun they had at the birthday party a couple hours before he killed them. He’s so cheerful and normal.

1) I thought I saw he refused to go to the beach with the kids because he was mad at Shanann. SW's mom said while he was there, he was constantly leaving to use the phone. I bet he skipped on the beach to talk to NK while everyone is gone

2) The kids did have fun on the bouncy ropes. You can see SW taking their picture and smiling and CW staring intently at his phone. Probably NK again.

3) They had fun at the birthday party where he forgot to bring swimsuits for them and they left early (for some reason). The party was for keeping up appearances.

It's so clear his priorities had shifted. The fact that he feigns love for them is sickening.

Awe geez ... not even his pretty shirt and flip flops could save him from being cuffed...!
No but if you listen at the exact end as he is proceeding down the hallway you can hear his flip flops flapping.....lol

This is just the craziest case. I really think he is insane. It makes no sense.

I’m listening to Part 2 of the interrogations with Tammy (lie detector is about to start). He’s talking about observing the babies at the beach in SC, them jumping on the bouncy rope things and the fun they had at the birthday party a couple hours before he killed them. He’s so cheerful and normal.

WTH. It’s just perplexing.

I agree! This is one of "the" most perplexing cases ever. Another one that comes to mind is Chris Colemen (murdered his wife and two boys for his wife's friend). How these men can think they will get by with these family annihilations is beyond belief. I can see the wheels turning, but nobody's home. I keep reading because it's so unbelievable. Watching him is like watching a twilight zone episode.

From the previous thread:
@CrimeAddict
I agree she was very interested, but how would she really know what SW made , its not like CW was ever telling the truth. I Just have a hard time 140k and 3 payments behind mortgage, where was their money going? I lived here.. 140k they would be doing pretty darn good! Just how do people blow that kind of money. . Ugh.
SW only started selling Thrive in 2017, so her income wasn't at that level for very long.
She was in the 80K VIP monthly sales tier, working very hard towards her goal of making it to the top 200K VIP tier.
If she continued her success and CW hadn't been wasting all his time and money on his affairs, they could have easily turned around their financial situation.

And NK was sure a busybody about their finances, wasn't she?
NK didn't need to visit their home to help him with that fitness app, so it makes me wonder if she really wanted to go there to look through their financial records.
CW seemed pretty clueless about money, so it wouldn't surprise me if NK was the one pushing the house sale and making him aware of the financial hardship a divorce would cause.
But I absolutely do not believe that NK played any part in the murders.
MOO
