I don’t want to judge her. She’s single, she’s thirty, she doesn’t have many responsibilities, she has people around her who love and protect her. She has a good relationship with her father. She freely expresses her sexuality. I see her as another victim of CW. He had no business getting involved with her. He lied, and lied, and lied to her. She lost her job, and her life is in shambles, thanks to CW.

An affair takes two. She willingly participated in the affair with CW. Neither CW nor NK had any business getting involved with the other.

I completely agree with that thinking; however, it was reported that he was moved to the federal system. Why? Is he that dangerous? If it was to protect him, why is this not being done for every prisoner? It does not seem right.

Now for you chuckle. I actually read on social media that his mother was demanding that he be sent to North Carolina so she can be closer to him. OMG. I doubt that it is true. But then again . . .

No...no they don’t. I suppose it’s easy to explain away each of her actions separately but when you know that she was expressing her love by saying “I love you”, searching wedding dresses, googling marrying your mistress, talking about what kind of home they may live in and many other things it’s paints a specific picture.

I was talking about the “O” word, but I was afraid to use it here. You can disagree, it’s fine. <modsnip - condescending>. I don’t know that NK shared her google searches and innermost thoughts with CW. Do you?

I say, yes, you can have those conversations, and I say it because my husband and I did, long before we seriously discussed marriage, in an off hand fantasizing kind of way. We talked about what our dreams were. A lot. He wasn’t married, but I can see where she advised him to work on his marriage before he left for N.C. I don’t think she claimed any ownership of him. They weren’t committed. I don’t see NK falling apart in her interviews because she lost her fiancé, the love of her life, like you would expect her to if she’d given her heart to him.

My husband and I did too, on our very first date he asked me what I wanted out of life. I was 25 didn’t play games and told him I saw myself staying home raising kids. The difference is neither one of us was married or had a side piece. You are not sincere when you tell your married boyfriend to work on his marriage and send him nude pics at the same time. Those nude pics were an effort to keep him from working on his marriage and to be able to claim ownership of him in the future.

Wow, just wow. I've been following this since the beginning and am just catching up now here on WS for the past few weeks' of posts.

First question - how on earth were all of these interviews and videos released and made public? I can't say I've ever seen so many from other cases. Something new, or were they all leaked? I'm blown away and thought we'd never get another peep of information after CWs "confession" and here we are inundated with material.

Second question - saw a pic on the Daily Mail link that showed NK (I think?) in underwear taking a selfie in a bathroom. Isn't that the same bathroom that we saw CeCe in a video, climbing onto the sink, while SW filmed her and folks thought she should have been rescuing her instead of watching her get into a predicament?

The discovery was released by the DA according to the Colorado Freedom of Information Act.

The photo of NK was not a selfie. CW took the photo - his reflection can be seen in the mirror. The bathroom is not the same one in the video of CeCe. I posted a screenshot from that video and the photo of NK side-by-side in a prior thread.

Did everyone who watched the 2nd NK interview notice that NK tells the detective the dates of the text are not correct. Her phone says Aug 13th was a conversation between her and CW but says that conversation didn't happen on the 13th. Blaming her phone have showing wrong dates.

It may be for his protection and he is considered dangerous. But I can only imagine him being a danger to himself. Anyway, didn't that come from the Daily mail?
I can definitely see his mother asking for him to be placed closer to the family. Seems like something she would do. Imo

Gah, we are still talking about the other woman.....
I’ve had friends that were the “other woman” and it’s a roller coaster, day to day. One case in particular, the guy had moved out to his own apartment and fed my friend a bunch of stories about how things were on the way out. However things were not so simple or quick. My friend genuinely did not wish ill upon the mans wife and truly did not want to break up a marriage that was salvageable. She told him that many times and backed off but fell for his lies when he came begging for her back. The guy kept her stringing along with words until she realized his words were empty promises and she finally had the courage to end it.
Yes the right thing for her to do upfront would have been to never get entangled but she was at a low point in her life and the guy knew exactly what she wanted to hear. He spun the story so it seemed like he was lonely and sad and neglected by his wife. It was super complex with many layers....I’m glad she walked away and with some hard work would never fall for the same kind of situation again.

Anyway I do not care for NKs attitude either and she did some despicable things, but I fully think CW was/ is the monster here and personally wish this board would stay on topic of the murder and coverup or psychology of a killer and not continue with endless discussion exploring NK and the affair. (I’m not in charge tho

I don’t think NK will ever talk to CW again or make attempts to reach out, I think she’s lucky she escaped with her life and hopefully will realize that eventually if she hasn’t now. The 6 weeks they had while Shanann was in N.C. sounds very intense and they went thru many phases of a relationship in a condensed amount of time. Even though she found him an apartment and googled marrying your mistress, it is still possible these were random impulsive thoughts and not indicative of serious plans to marry or kill off his family so they could ride off into the sunset together.

If it wasn’t NK there would have been plenty of other women CW could have pursued. Affairs happen all the time and 99% don’t end up with 4 people dead.
