I wonder if CW will still be able to receive “fan mail” since his new location is being kept under the radar?

As soon as he’s settled in he’ll get a couple of envelopes, a few nubby, dull pencils & a free stamp or two. He can then write to anyone he wishes. As soon as his location is revealed he will get bags of mail.
S brother or parents can post where he is, if they wish. It’s not a crime for anyone to reveal his location. Maybe prison staff (for their safety) have been asked to not release info.
He’s no different than any other inmate, he has the same privileges.

I don’t get it! I try, and I try, and I try. That’s why I’m still here at WS. Somebody, please tell me WHY CW did this in a way that makes sense! Help me understand! Those precious, adorable, innocent little girls. How could he? CW has to have some kind of psychological make up like none of us has ever seen, so we have no frame of reference for understanding. I imagine if they took one of those Dr. Phil type brain scans of CW’s brain, he would have black spots all over it.
We have told you, over and over and over again. He has some type of defect like the other FA’s where they don’t form the same enotional bonds and attachments like other people. Chris Coleman strangled his 9 and 12 year old boys and his wife.

I just watched the slowed down video of Chris dragging Shannan to his truck.

I hope every time he closes his eyes to sleep, he sees Shannan, Bella and Ceces beautiful faces, I hope every time he breathes he smells Shannans perfume and the precious babies. I hope every time he hears a laugh, the sound of his babies playing and laughing echos in his mind, “My Daddy is my hero”. I hope every time he dreams, it’s paralyzing nightmares where he’s unable to awaken from the cold hard metal bunk as he has to gasp for air and bites his tongue so hard that he bleeds like beautiful Shannan, Bella and Ceces final moments.

I hate this man and truly hope he never has another peaceful moment in this world.

and to be honest Layla
I have already addressed all this in the post you are replying to.
but you continue to ignore or not comprehend what is being stated.
sorry but you keep asking the same question and the same questions get answers.
because you don't like them we keep going round and round in circles

moo
Ignore is literally the BEST feature of WS:):D:p

The children in the oil tanks was his strong point - who realistically would ever think of looking there? Those two tanks were due to be decommissioned in the near future, and I'm sure he factored that into his plan. As for Shanann, he probably had another tank somewhere else that was more accessible but the phone calls from NUA precipitated a change of plan and a hurried burial. JMO
I think you are spot on. Didnt he also tell na and her son he was on his way and it took a long time- longer than the drive for him to get there? Did the gos in his truck show him going back to cervi 319?

But if he premeditated it during the weeks before how could he possibly have thought he could get away with it? Let’s just start with CW leaving that matching sheet behind in that oil field? Or his mother in law (God love her) whose first thought was he covered her in oil? Or that anyone would believe that SW so willingly would leave behind, never to see again, her parents, her brother, her friends, and her job that she loved so much? Or his affair(s)? Or that NK would be ok with taking up with a quadruple murderer? That’s just for starters. Are you satisfied with stupid as an explanation? Psycho-stupid?
I guess we could call it psycho-stupid! Good term. His psychopathology and narcissism rendered him stupid, if you want to think of it that way. I think also you have the restaurant bill inverted in causality in that he allowed her to see it because he knew he was going to be killing her; it's not what caused him to kill her, or triggered his awful actions, but the other way around. His knowledge of what he was going o do allowed him to brazenly take his mistress to dinner and too bad if that would be in Shannon's beautiful face, he was about to snuff the life out of her anyway. He is SO like other family annihilators, convinced they have a brilliant plan; blaming the wife on the death of the children when caught; weirdly cut off, docile and polite to LE. Intoxicated by a mistress. So besotted, in fact, that he got a dopey look on his face and told LE that NK took his breath away, like he still couldn't get over it and had little hearts and birds fluttering around his head. It's sad and sick and you are not going to find a rational motive. Chris Watts is a stone-cold killer who didn't give a crap about his wife's feelings and saw his children as mere objects in his way.

Yes, somewhere I read about the footprints and have not been able to get it out of my head. Totally gruesome. I just want someone to tell me that he did not do that.
Didn’t they request his foot print because of a bare foot print in a plastic bag. I just cannot think about him using his foot on those little girls....

Where can I find the slowed down video of CW dragging SW? How did I miss that?

It is on The State of Colorado vs Chris Watts FB page.

Crimes like this are so difficult to comprehend. Most of us view prison as a deterrent. No matter the depth of our anger, we cope, forge on, without murdering anyone.
Some murderers are so glad to have killed their victim/s, they don’t care they also give up their own life.
As CW planned this (if true), he had to vacillate between divorce-murder-reconciliation. At some point he had to consider the consequences of murder. I just don’t believe his thoughts never took him there. Was he simply so exhausted emotionally he was incapable of thinking clearly? Something makes me firmly believe he was afraid S & NK were going to have a chat. He was compelled to murder S almost as soon as she arrived home. What was the rush? Why not wait until Monday, after work? He would have had a lot more time for clean up,
& the use of her phone to return texts.
And the best thing about delaying the act until Monday is he may have snapped out of his funk and they’d all be alive.

I agree. After having skimmed through all ~2000 pages (ack!) of those documents today and now need a brain vacuum to clear my head, one thing that stood out was the timeframe. I do believe I read 2 different times in 2 different docs, as to when his coworkers appeared on the job site, and he was expecting them so it wasn't a sudden surprise.

He supposedly left the house around 5:30/5:45 am and one doc said he texted a coworker around 6:30 or so, asking where he was, and then said coworker arrived around 6:45 or so. Another doc said coworker arrived about an hour later. Sorry I don't have links. Didn't think anything of it past the first short timeframe that I read til I read the later timeframe and it made me ponder it more. Either scenario didn't give him much time at all to do what he had to do after a 45-mile drive there. What if the tanks wouldn't open easily? What if digging the grave took eons longer? I don't think he planned the event for that day. Although, if her plane had not been delayed, perhaps he had planned it for that day and thought he'd leave for work at, say, 2am? Guess that's a possibility.

Related to this short time window - my GOD. He left the sheet, a garbage bag, a RAKE embedded in the ground, what else? AND THEN acted rather normal around the incoming coworkers. HOW could you bury your family and be cool, calm and collected ON SITE just 15-60 min later? I don't get that. Is that when a multiple personality disorder or something kicks in? If he planned this for weeks, he was cutting it awfully close there and you'd think he would be paniced, and would have planned a scenario/disposal much more quietly not in daylight and where he could be caught. If he did act in a sudden rage that night, then you'd think he'd be in even worse shape, but apparently went about his day was rather normally. How?

I'm new and just figuring out things, how to post. But has anyone seen the interview with miss McMahon, I think? She seems a little sketchy to me. Say she couldn't describe his tats? You have sex with someone, I think you're gonna notice his tatts?

here i think is the problem for you Layla and I dont mean to be rude. so please don't take it that way.:)

bbm
chris wasn't mad at shanann.
she was simply an inconvenience that needed eliminating.
COLD,CALLOUS and very very simple.

she deserved to have (again nobody take this out of context please) at a minimum been killed passionately because he hated her.
something....anything …...but no.
just silently snuffed out ….no explanation...no emotional conversation.....just squashed out like a pointless ant on the concrete .

the same with the girls. no anger. just an inconvenience that needed dealing with.

you can not make an unreasonable action reasonable, is my point.
none of us will ever understand how he could do this.

moo
I believe he had a great deal of anger and resentment toward her for a long time. And very likely towards his mother as well. He may have spent years and years pushing that anger deep down until he didn't recognize it or even feel it anymore. That may be the reason he never lost control. He didn't dare allow himself to. Many people who have psychopathic traits learn to do this very early in life. They basically don't "allow" themselves to feel anything because it is just too painful. After awhile they just aren't capable of it anymore.
This is why I'm so interested in finding out about his family dynamics and his history. There is obviously some major dysfunction in that family.
We know Chris was angry at his wife before she left for NC. he was described as screaming at her and "going crazy." This may have been the first sign of his beginning to unravel. Imo

I think I am probably the only person that thinks he had a decent plan. I don't think anyone would have found the children's bodies, not in time anyway. I think he thought he had plenty of time to do the clean up work. He put a lot of thought into it. The problem he had was NA. He either didn't know about the doctor appointment or he forgot about it. He thought people would just believe him and forget about his family. I doubt he ever thought the police would come full force. He didn't have a back up plan and apparently his mind doesn't work that way. Having the front and back door chained hurt. I'm sure Shanann chained the front door when she got home. Since he didn't go out that way, he missed it. So although, I believe he planned it, nothing worked out the way he thought it would and he couldn't adapt. And he couldn't fake/pretend he cared they were gone.
I think he would have been caught within days even if NUA hadn’t been in the picture. I think Shanann’s mother would have missed her and notified the police, immediately. She wouldn’t have let up. I think CW would have been the first suspect they looked into, and I think with the information they had about him LE would have gone straight out to that oil field like they did. They would have discovered that sheet, the freshly dug grave, and the blonde baby hair caught in the hatch.

OMGoodness, someone actually posted that in earlier threads. Seriously? They were upset she stuck her nose in. I can bet, Shanann's family and friends are very glad she did.
I know. That poster accused NUA of snooping in things that were none of her business. He/she was angry with NUA.

First off not hoa dues, assessments, totally different. Secondly, they had the house before they filed bankruptcy. Third, the Lexus was paid most months by Shananns company. Lastly, the only person who said they were in debt is a lying liar, who is jail for lying, oh, and killing his family.

Edit. Not trying to be rude, we have gone over these things too many times. I'm crabby. Maybe a break is needed.
It would be nice if people refrained from making comments until they read all of the threads and all of the things we've already discussed several times! I'm so sorry you have to continue to defend your friend. Shanann has touched so many of our lives.....she was an amazing person and I, for one, wish so much that I could have known her! It's so unfair that there continues to be misinformation that her family and friends have to defend. NOTHING she did makes what that evil killer did make sense. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that so many of us love her and those babies dearly and we are so thankful you are here to share their legacy with us:)

The thing is though, IMO, that is a very simplified explanation for what he wanted to achieve but it doesn't begin to explain why he chose this route over another, or how a human father could detach or never form attachment in the first place. I think these kinds of cold-blooded plotted murders that leave the families and friends stunned in disbelief need more explanation than the standard motives of sex or money. Those things don't cause one to be able to kill the children you bathed, fed and kissed goodnight only a few hours earlier. That is why we need to be able to look at the creation of the monster without being criticized for blaming the parents or the family dynamics.

It was so much more than the affair - that was like a mere pinprick in this case - IMO. Family finances too. That doesn't cause people to kill children they love, and stuff their bodies into trash bags and oil tanks. I think the answer is they are removed from already - or have the ability to remove themselves with a triggering event from - feelings of love and horror. They can flip a switch inside.

There is only one person that I would say he does have a feeling that might resemble love for and that is his dad. Even that might not be love in the accepted sense, but a feeling of responsibility towards ensuring his father is maintained. Maintained is the closest I can get to describing it, as opposed to being destroyed. Perhaps he, CW, was annihilated as a child and his father's annihilation by his mother (and others, including Shanann rejecting RW after nutgate) was an ongoing struggle that had to be prevented. I don't know, I'm going off my feelings and not education in the matter. I feel nutgate was more instrumental in what happened than any of us realize. That was the dagger he talked of. Maybe he turned the dagger around on the family that rejected his father. Maybe he wanted to protect his dad, psychologically and not even knowingly. I said before I think that was the turning point and he demonized them all following that incident, already having the experience of being able to break attachments - as he did long ago with his mother. Nutgate happened in Shanann's second week away, not the last week that CW went out there.

MOO
I, also, believe the nut incident was the trigger. NK played a role but I think more as a replacement. SW was a replacent for the mother, Nk a replacement for SW. He couldn't handle life alone. That nut incident was huge. His mom and sister could have intentionally killed CeCe with those nuts. All because they had to prove SW wrong. We have no idea of the full extent of what was said or done during that time but even Shanann thought that was why he was acting so cold toward her because CW said she placed something between him and RW. I hate to say this, because the more I hear about this family, I almost think, that man never had a chance.

Judge Judi posted earlier. Here it is. It's very satisfying to watch:

He was really Captain Obvious.. Feeling around in his pockets.. Acting like he was looking at his phone.. Places it on the bookshelf outside the room.. Walks into the room.. Crouched down a little.. Heads straight for the nightstand (pulls ring out of his pocket).. Walks right out and hey guys.. Lookie here! NUA rolls eyes.. Walks back over to phone on bookshelf.. Really bro?

Also.. NUA mentions the pool.. His eyes widen.. Yeah maybe there.. Goes back to phone. Worst actor alive thankfully.. Last but not least.. He says absolutely NOTHING to Officer Coonrod unless he asks CW a question.

Definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed.. Or the brightest crayon in the box.

I think so too. They were particularly emotional and invested in this case. If anyone else had anything to do with the murder in any way, no way would they let that slide. I believe they felt way too much respect for her family and getting justice for them. Imo
I hope they are still digging just to make absolutely sure.

He probably does, but he doesn't really even care, because his brain apparently isn't wired like MOST other people's. Hasn't it been reported that he hasn't shown any remorse? JMOO.
