Maybe that explains how clueless CW was when he accepted the Thayers’ invitation to spend the second night his family was missing at their house, or how inappropriate and suspicious his behavior seemed to them. He didn’t know the correct motions to act out when your family goes missing.

My observation during the second video of the polygraph (pre-test) is that his monotonous voice actually rises to some inflection and possible emotion when he talks about his grandmother.

I don't I think he knew how to react as a normal caring human being in any situation which is really is sad considering the facade he put up for his marriage and his babies lives

Yeah, I fear that he wasn’t nice to them in those final few days.

Around others he would have kept up appearances, but he had no such incentive when he was alone with them.

That really bothers me thinking about it. I'll bet that's why he didn't put the kids on the phone with SW while she was in AZ....because they might tell on him.

I understand but we are not like him. We are not sociopaths. For those who are still exploring the reason he did this.....is there something specific you are looking for? Is there something in the evidence you would like to see or something Chris could tell you that would then make you understand why he murdered his children?

He would probably still say he didn't do it.

Is the bill with the date ending 8/13 in more recent discovery?

If it was included in the original 2,000 page discovery, does anyone know the page number?

The only detailed Verizon bill I was aware of in the first discovery begins on 8/14. (pdf page 998)

So I saw that new video tonight actually the first video when they got to the house and I could see how the coward was swaying back and forth and sweating and Nicole was trying to give the police all the info she could to find her friend and how the coward was trying to cover his tracks and what I thought was weird was that he said he did not handle the finances, Shanann did but in his mistress' interview she said that Shanann could not handle the finances, which really chapped my ass that she had any input on that , but something is definitely rotten in Denmark or should I say Andarko / Frederick

Haha! A friend of mine's 5 year old stayed with me while her parents went overseas for a funeral. Everything I served up to her she told me she did not like (green veg) so I told her that she had to eat just a little of everything. When her parent's got back, the first thing she said to them was 'Jennifer made me eat broccoli' and her mother said 'Good , you can eat it for me now'.

Yeah, that's pretty evident in his interviews too. The performance he put on with his father was a disgrace.

Although his father's reactions were pretty abnormal too IMO.

I watched so many videos where SW tried her best to do everything right. There’s one where she talks about putting the kids to bed at 6:30 every night, so she and CW have time to take care of business, and then spend time together each day. It’s heartbreaking. She knew what it requires to create a healthy marriage, but it takes two, and CW’s head just wasn’t in the same place.

Well, the videos were for sales. They didn't have much to do with real life. They were «selling» the lifestyle of their beautiful family.

CW didn't handle the finances per CW and SW couldn't handle the finances per what CW told NK, implying they were having money problems. That's how I read that. Now, why would CW be telling NK anything about their financial affairs?

I think I am probably the only person that thinks he had a decent plan. I don't think anyone would have found the children's bodies, not in time anyway. I think he thought he had plenty of time to do the clean up work. He put a lot of thought into it. The problem he had was NA. He either didn't know about the doctor appointment or he forgot about it. He thought people would just believe him and forget about his family. I doubt he ever thought the police would come full force. He didn't have a back up plan and apparently his mind doesn't work that way. Having the front and back door chained hurt. I'm sure Shanann chained the front door when she got home. Since he didn't go out that way, he missed it. So although, I believe he planned it, nothing worked out the way he thought it would and he couldn't adapt. And he couldn't fake/pretend he cared they were gone.

He also didn't account for the neighbor's camera enough to realize that it wouldn't capture Shanann even leaving for her "friend's house." He considered it enough to back his truck in to load the bodies though. He would've bought some time if he did not agree to a search, polygraph, and didn't speak so freely. He only agreed to talk because he wanted to play out that he was a "concerned" husband for his image but didn't know how to display concern at all at the same time. During the his FBI interview, he even had the nerve to say that he would "take a bullet for his children" while showing no emotion throughout the questioning and search.

I find it remarkable that he thought his wife's disappearance would not be noticed within a short period of time. Shanann talked freely to her friends, family, up and down lines. She was planning a quick getaway w/Chris to try and save her marriage. He decided to alienate her while she was at a conference with her friends. He also called the school the day of the murders and told them their kids will not be returning. I think he only thought of how he was going to execute the plan but not of the second and third order effects.

Probably in an effort to explain his deteriorating marriage.

It made him look like a victim of Shanann’s reckless spending.

Meanwhile, this guy is lucky he can breathe without assistance, let alone manage finances.

As well as the sex, I think that CW thought that he was stepping up financially. He shared houses with people and moved on SW when she had bought her own house, now NK was probably earning much more money than he, he could see how that might benefit him with BMWs and all that kind of stuff.

I would like to understand. I would like to hear from Chris how he could smother to death this precious, precious little girl and allow her to die. But I know that ain’t going to happen.

That's because all she heard from Chris was how horrible Shanann was. The only thing good he said about her was that she was a good mother. Everything else was about how mean she was, how he never had a say in anything, she criticized him in front of the kids, he had never been able to be himself, and she made him do all these things he didn't want to do, like lose weight and get healthy. He told his family all of the same things.

I think that after the car conversation his father knew that SW and the kids were dead.
He was going to confess all, but the FBI person gave him an out.
