If she discovered this, she would have fought.

The autopsy results show that there wasn’t a violent physical struggle between the two.

I think we can put this scenario to bed.

I remember hearing CW say, when describing how he strangled SW, “I got on top of her...” I can’t remember which interview, though. Sorry. But at the time, I did think this may be a partial truth. He climbed on top of SW after she fell asleep and rendered her immobile before she realized what was happening to her. Hence, no fighting back.

The idiot CW tells the police officer that he was about to take a walk around the neighborhood to "clear his head." NOT TO LOOK FOR HIS FAMILY or ask neighbors if they saw his family or pass out flyers. But you know, just to clear his head. (And it looks like he is shaking a protein shake.)

He looks so, so guilty. I'm so glad this came crashing down on him so quickly. He sooo did not expect this immediate reaction and search. He must have been freaking out so bad as this all unfolded so fast. He looked guilty in the porch interviews and rocking back and forth, but kind of held it together even though his body language was giving him away.

But these scenes the police body cam captured - whoa. He was so rattled. And not in a "worried" husband/dad way. In a very obvious I am so f'ed way.

Right! This must have been the worst day of his life. Worried friends, neighbor with surveillance cam, press, choppers, a bloodhound, cadaver dogs, cops, the feds, all these questions. Brain meltdown!

I loved when one of the cops said ”It‘s not so much national any longer, the BBC is here”.

My daughter is flying out of DIA right now and I sure hope he is not on that plane!!!!!
I wonder how they transport him on a plane, first class under block & tackle?
Cargo in the hold would be a good option.

He killed his wife and sons - again because he wanted to go off with an AP, but divorce was not his favoured option

This case does bear striking similarities to that one.

Coleman did far more planning, but likely killed for similar reasons.

There are numerous cases involving “family annihilators,” but I think that one is probably the closest in terms of similarity.

I don't think shanann knew the kids were dead.
from what we have learnt about them as a family from those that know the girls were light sleepers, I don't think shanann getting home at 2am would have risked disturbing them.
why would she?
as far as she is concerned they are in their home with their loving father all safe.
she just needs to get 3 or 4 hours in before getting up to enjoy bellas first day of school.

but I differ in I do believe the girls were already deceased when she got home.
because he wouldnt send her fresh picks of the kids later in the evening when she specifically asked for them.

I was just looking at a study about ' chokeholds' and a person can be rendered unconciousness in an average of 9 secs.The people tested were all volunteers and were all expecting the hold - imagine if you were deeply asleep and you were pinned down. Before you even got chance to wiggle free you'd be out....

It is possible, although;

Unconscious is different from dead and an unconscious person can still thrash, bite their tongue, lip, etc. Also, I would think someone's full weight (190 lbs?) On a smaller person would leave a mark.

You said the volunteers were expecting to be choked! Surprise is different. Surprise can trigger adrenaline and response. Even pinned and the effort by the person pinning could leave marks!

I was in martial arts for over 10 years and I've been choked. It's painful and scary and nothing triggers a struggle like not being able to breath.

Did the autopsy say if SW was choked from the front or behind? I couldn't. bring myself to look at the autopsy. I don't recall any mention of drugs by the DA or coroner.

Shanann was worried about her marriage and her children. She was sick and tired, probably very tired from the delayed flight. Imagine wanting or dreading being home and then having to wait an additional 3 hours. Then, getting home and entering a dark, foreboding house. Would She go straight to bed and to sleep? Would. she want to talk? I pray she did go to sleep and never knew what happened. It's bad enough the girls knew.

One final thing; CW chose a method where he was looking at the girls and they at him (cold ba***d), there were other, easier ways he could have done it. Why that way and what does that say about what he would have done with Shanann?

I'm done speculating about it, it hurts me.

Regarding the suspension of visiting hours at some federal prisons, is this related to CW? Why would that be, if the danger to him is from within? What am I missing?

Why did they do a second clearance of the house? To make sure bodies weren't hidden somewhere? Because they aren't processing the house, looking for blood and evidence of a break in or anything.

I did note when the police walked in on the defense team, one of their defense team investigators came from downstairs with those yellow glasses on that Forensic Files uses to find bodily fluids.


At least that's my opinion, perhaps other saw that also.

Frederick Colorado is a town under 9k in population. People really came together and made this happen, I think in tremendous reflection of the kind of (and kind) person Shan'ann was and how she touched other people's lives in a positive way.

On Thanksgiving morning and night we drove past Frederick on I25 on the way to spend the day with family. I couldn't help thinking of all the people there who had known Shanann and her girls, and what a bittersweet day it must have been for them. So much to be thankful for and yet such irreplaceable loss too. The people who shared their brief lives with them certainly did right by them in death, and together with LE who were so obviously truly passionate about getting justice for them, did everything right to put their murderer behind bars forever. That community will never forget them.

I don’t think him not sending new photos, is a big deal.

The kids may have been killed first, but that act wouldn’t sway me one way or another.

He may have simply been lazy.

Why aren’t y’all showing more interest in this? If NK only worked at Ansdarko for 4 months, why would she be googling SW in 2017? I thought she worked at Anadarko for a year. Was that ever verified?

I'm definitely interested in this . . . I'm going through everything public about her work history right now to see if I can figure this out . . . I'm assuming she saw/met Chris somehow in 2017 and then googled Shanann, but this case is so strange I'm willing to entertain the possibility she heard about Shanann, saw Chris' picture on FB and pursued him

Thank you to the person who posted it, can't find the post as this thread is moving so fast. I'm pedantic so a couple of questions:

No water in the girls' toilet - what is that all about? Water in the tank, but bowl is completely dry. I'm thinking even if the dog had been locked in there, he's a little one so couldn't drink out of the bowl?

Curtains - do people tend to close the curtains to keep out the sun in August there too, or do you think it was to try to hide any visible evidence? And why don't LE pull them open? It would drive me crazy, trying to work in the dark like that.

The dog handler knew exactly what was going on.

On Jay for J video, a new one is posted that shows CW answering NK's call with police staring right at him. And also showing absolutely no interest in trying to find his family as the police officers are trying to offer ideas and suggestions. "Did you check the bank account and see if she pulled out money or any charges?" He just plays with his stupid phone and rocks around. I hate him.
