I agree. The kids hadn't even been there for 6 weeks. They'd only been back for a few days. My kids will run around, sweat, play outside, etc and then sleep in their sheets and they don't get "smelly" for several days (unless something bad happens, like an accident or they're sick). I fully believe that SW wouldn't have left them with "smelly sheets", she would've changed them before she left for AZ, so how did they get so bad in just 2 days? That part doesn't make sense to me, either. (I mean, it makes sense in that he was probably trying to clean away any scents they emitted after death. It doesn't make sense in the way he was trying to explain it. But then, few things do.)
It seems like CW pulls a lie out of his pocket every time something is asked of him. I’m having a really hard time understanding how this lying behavior started out of nowhere 6 weeks prior to the murders. Plus, his lies are so stupid, how he thought he’d get away with them. But I suppose he learned from his parents.

Exactly what I have been wondering and was not sure I missed that on here somewhere. She would not have to pass through Frederick from where she lived to get to work?
Really none of this matters now, he plead out but guess it is just another part of the puzzle.
Oh Snap.

Here's NK's Verizon bill. I copied this from Thinker Belle's post on the phone call. Investigators have an answer for this, I'm sure, but I'd really like to know what she was doing in Frederick so early that morning.

I wonder if she was stalking the house and snooping around. I don´t think she had anything to do with the murders and I am sure she has been investigated. MOO.

I did look on the map. Her most direct route to work would have been I 25 N to highway 66 to Platteville. Frederick is not directly on I 25 N, but it is possible she was on her way to work and passing by Frederick and made a call and it pinged on a tower in Frederick.

IDK. I'm sure investigators answered this question.

She was apparently ruled out. She may have been on her way to work when she made that call.

We all interpret things differently. In most of the videos I’ve watched CW seemed less than happy. A couple of times SW mentioned the kids misbehaving and stated “I could strangle them”. I pondered if CW thought he might get away with strangulation/suffocation because of this.

Do you think she ever said I could strangle them and dump them in oil or will we give CW full credit for coming up with the tanks all on his own ? Nothing justifies what he did and nothing his victims ever said, thought or did gives him a reason or the right to decide to end their lives and discard them.

I want to ask about an important post by Thinker Belle in Thread#63 pg 36, post #718 .

She notes on NK’s Verizon Phone Bill in Discovery #1 that

NK made a phone call FROM Frederick at 6:16 am the morning of the murders, August 13.

That’s right. NK was in Frederick not long after
CW left his home in Frederick at 5:37 am with the bodies in his truck.

It was a one minute call to Mystery Couch Surfer Jim’s out of state phone number. Which means she was not with Jim in her rental home in Thornton.

What the heck was she doing in Frederick at 6:16 am the morning of the murders?
Anadarko is not in Frederick.
NK does not live in Frederick.
Mystery Couch Surfer Jim’s mobile number has an area code from Millwaukee, Wisconsin area. He is not local. He most likely does not live in Frederick.

PommyMommy can you verify this was not mentioned anywhere else in Discovery nor in NK’s interviews? I don’t remember seeing it or hearing it anywhere.

Tortoise, how does this fit the event timeline?

Um, guys, this is bizarre.

ETA: I don’t know how to link to Thinker Belle, PommyMommy And Tortoise.

I noticed this strange fact and decided it must have been a mistake, but you have really sleuthed it out! Is it possible she has a bit of a stalker in her? Could she have been driving by that early because she knew Shanann was back, wanted to catch CW who usually leaves later, or something? Hmmm.

Once CW is settled in his new home, he’ll have the means to commit suicide. A large facility doesn’t have the manpower to “babysit” a specific inmate.
The county jail wants to be sure high profile inmates are kept safe in order to stand trial.

Any of you think CW will take his own life?

Oh yea. I think NK was over the moon obsessed. After being in the family home, she wanted to be Mrs. Watts, IMO. Bet she’s already in love again. Hopefully with a SINGLE man.

I know she stated she had only been in the basement. Did he corral her there because of security on the main floor?

Just wow

I would love to know what he did when he was inside the house by himself.
Lol. Maybe changed his soiled undies.

I agree - but from her bill, she made a call from Frederick very early on the morning of the 13th and apparently it was to her good buddy Jim, who was staying at her house. This is the same Jim that she had an absolute cow over in the interview because she claimed he knew nothing and she didn't want him to be dragged into it.

Sorry, but that rings as true to me as a tin horn. Her married boyfriend's pregnant wife and children had just gone missing and within a day, NK claimed she became suspicious. And she's interacting with her house guest as if nothing is wrong at all? I'm not sure how a person does that.

Very strange, IMO.

I wasn't questioning the phone bill or that she was near Frederick. That wasn't the point of my post. I agree that there is something weird about it. What I wasn't agreeing with is that she was hiding in the garage or there in the house at the time of murders. (As was both said and implied in the last thread.) If there was any sign of such a thing, or a sign that she somehow helped with the cover up, I believe Rourke would've pushed.

It's like schaundenfreude. Like, like, like too bad stuff like this pops up. To shine light on the dark.

Thanks for that because I know I live in a cave and can not keep up with all this stuff like vocal fry, never heard that ever and had no clue what it was. Crazy.

She didn't say she had only been in the basement.

She said a lot of things that have been proven to be lies.

Makes sense and I do not think she was there or had anything to do with any kind of cover up. He did this all on his own....JMO

We really don't know that his lying behavior came out of nowhere. We don't know for sure he wasn't a serial cheater. I doubt he was, but who knows.

Right. And, FWIW, it was CW's dad who said strangled or "chokin'" them. When CW first started telling the story, he said "smothered."

Maybe it was NK's idea to kill them, maybe NK helped him dispose of the bodies, maybe the Thayers had something to do with it, maybe he got the idea from something SW herself said...From the podcast episodes with its wrong information and sketchy "sources" to the speculations, I feel like we just keep going around and around in circles, somehow always coming back to implicating SW in her and the children's murders. CW did it all by himself. There is no evidence to support the idea that someone else gave him the idea or assisted him in the killings.
