You are right, you can not break up a happy home unless the cheating spouse has no free will. It’s not that men are braindead zombies one can string along. NK certainly didn’t anticipate a family being annihilated. Her attitude doesn’t sit right with me, I‘m with you, and there is no reason not to criticize that. But to wish her suffering all kinds of consequences?I think you could be right, she could be in danger if someone unhinged takes a dislike to her for her actions. And I think a lot of people, here and elsewhere have taken a dislike to her, myself included, not just for having an affair with a married man but for her blasé attitude throughout her police interviews after the murders. She did herself no favours. Unfortunately she decided to break up a seemingly happy home and marriage, although the blame ultimately lies with CW for that, he is the one that was married and cheating. Let this be a big lesson to her, play with fire and you will get burned, she has to suffer the consequences.
I understand people being emotional and all that, but is it too much to hope that everybody keeps a sense of proportion?
