I believe you are correct that the road itself becomes part of the biking trail. That has been what was so confusing to me when we saw the latest interview. Its hard to tell where the bicycle trail even is. I think the road they were standing on is part of the biking/hiking trail at least for some parts of the trail.

I wish we could get a local bicyclist to do a Go Pro riding down the same path that we think SM would have taken. It gets confusing trying to understand where she would have been riding.

When the youtuber showed us the bend in the road with his theory on not making the sharp corner, I am not sure that is even the same section of road where BM pointed to? The angle of the camera with him and BM was up on top of a raod that looked straight and he walked down a bit and pointed off the road. There was no sharp turn intersecting other road that I could see.
And when we see the other video where there was that sharp corner, I cant tell if that was even the same place BM pointed to.

Its all so confusing because of not knowing where there is a bicycle trail.

Interesting, a Go Pro on a helmet .... h'mm, imagine if Suzanne's bike was put there Saturday and someone crossing the bridge with a camera, maybe even a Go Pro, reviewed their vision and saw the bike there ..... that would be something, hey, far-fetched, but stranger things have happened , and if the bike was leaning against a tree you might think the owner was nearby and not think twice about it .... it's actually a very pretty spot by that bridge and the likely place to stop and take photos. Placing the bike there Saturday though does bring its risks of being found and reported, so maybe it was put there Sunday .....

Most hunters would also know about the heavy duty regular plastic "game bags" that can be used to transport a whole deer without having any leakage into a vehicle. They are not as common as the breathable type game bags because you normally dont want to keep a deer or other harvested animal inside a closed in plastic bag, but they do make them large enough to fit a deer or a small person.

Another nifty toy hunters have are game carts. Light weight aluminum tube carts with bicycle style tires on them to move deer and other large game with. It would work great to move a body deep into the woods. The wheels come off and they break down so as not to take up a lot of space. Most actors don't bother to schlep a body deep into the woods over their shoulder or by dragging. 10-20 feet off an access, jeep or hiking trail is about average.

The came cart would leave unique tire prints on the trail.

Motion sensor information was very important in the Gannon Stauch case, and it could prove very helpful here.

If BM left for Denver and Suzanne remained home alone, then data like that would either prove his alibi, or strongly refute it.

All good observations IMO. Also, if the security system happened to be on the fritz in the days leading up to and including SM’s disappearance, that would be important to LE, particularly if there were some other clues that gave an impression of things being not quite right. I understand there’s a rumor to this effect, and nothing more. Pure speculation about possibilities here. IMO

I've always wondered if this was the "personal item" that was found. Seems they'd locate something like that by using her data, maybe a few days after she went missing. Maybe if she had been taken or moved by another person it was an afterthought and thrown out a car window on the way away from the scene (did I read somewhere the personal item was found somewhere besides where the bike was?).

I keep thinking, this attacker must have made a HUGE error, failing to account for Suzanne’s routines. Something from the home indicated to authorities RIGHT AWAY that Suzanne was a victim of foul play.

For instance, what might happen every morning at my house before I’d head out for a “bike ride?” Simple, routine daily things.

1. My alarm would start beeping at 7:00am, and I’d turn it off. Was Suzanne’s alarm clock beeping gently up in the master bedroom when the police arrived?

2. I’d make my morning coffee in the Keurig one cup coffee maker. Was a fresh cup of coffee sitting at the coffee machine?

3. I’d put on my Apple Watch, having left it on my nightstand. Did Suzanne have one, still on her nightstand registering no morning activity, or was it on Suzanne’s wrist, registering no activity from time of death?

4. What was in the dishwasher? Had the two had dinner together the night before? If not, why not? What was in the wash machine, dryer, etc.

5. Before heading out, I’d definitely take my morning pills, which might be divided up into “daily” prescription servings, in those plastic M T W Th F Sa Sun containers.

Just can’t help but think that there are so many balls for a killer to juggle. Something had to drop, and it had to be a minor detail which turned out to be a MAJOR clue.

Im not familiar with the plastic used for foundation work so Im not really sure. I do know the heavy duty plastic game bags are very thick. They would not rip or tear unless something really sharp was forced into it.

Someone did mention earlier that they will usually keep some items private as a way to sort out false claims down the road. For example, a witness who comes forward with info that is correct...but it was never in the paper.
That makes sense to me but not telling Barry or the family???? Only makes sense if a family member is a suspect. As far as I've read (in other cases) LE is pretty good about sharing with families.
