Absolutely no offence taken. But for me, comparing BM to AS is like comparing apples to oranges. AS appeared a broken man, likely experiencing some level of guilt for what happened to Gannon, for trusting that woman TS with his children and then suffering the worst possible outcome, yet, he was in no way involved in GS’s death. BM OTOH, is still a huge question mark. His plea rang insincere, 26 second jumbled mess about abduction, then jumping from one possible scenario to the next during his “speak easy” with TD, a “soup” of possibilities, putting out his story but still SO MANY questions NOT asked, some not clearly answered to provide a concise timeline of events, leaving out pertinent details about how MD actually evolved from his departure to Denver to his 9 pm arrival home. No heartfelt plea, side by side with LE, like LH/AS or KB’s mom Cheryl. You could FEEL their pain. It was palpable. Not BM. Why? Because he’s a landscaper not an actor. He’s afraid to expose himself to hard questions that will surely come at the hands of a good journalist. He can’t risk that. What I wouldn’t give to have sat in on his first interview with LE. Likely a treasure trove of evasion. All speculation and JMHO.My apologies, I had posted earlier using AS, for comparison, and knew that AS wasn’t valid using Letecia, so I used Gannon.
Yes, I do know the difference between love for a spouse and a child, I sent my husband to war, 2 sons, and a daughter into war zones. Your comments were quite accurate, but they will never quite express it accurately, until you experience it, as you said. Or you stand with your son at a funeral for his friend who died there.
I apologize if I touched a raw nerve. I was not debating the degree of pain, I was trying to make the point that different people handle differently.
IMO we have compared BM to LS, a better comparison would be to consider that BM shares more characteristics with AS, MVHO.
