If you draw an imaginary vertical line centered on the pin drop labeled "Bridge Over Fooses Creek, then everything to the right of that line would fit the LE description of "west of the intersection of US Hwy 50 and County Road 225". IMO
My Opinion Only. And welcome to Websleuths!!!Newish user questiob. What does MOO at the of messages mean? Thanks!
You make a good point. However listening to Dad with a phone, I think if BM knew the condition of the bike as he indicated in the video “the bike was found ... with the wheels turned“... (abrupt stop) he would have seized upon the story to ‘Dad’ and would have stopped pushing his ridiculous cat theory.I need to re-post my previous reply to poster Holl...regarding the issue of the bicycle...because a moderator here deleted it. So, I hope my new post doesn't get deleted again as I try to state the current facts about the bicycle in this case while offering my IMO: It is not clear what if any bicycle existed accept for all the news articles published on the internet stating the following facts according to the news media providing information on the bicycle in the SM case. 1) SM went for a bicycle ride on Mothers Day. 2. LE found her bicycle, along with some of her scattered belongings a short distance from her house. 3. SM's nephew TN pleaded to the general public to please ask the Chaffee County sheriff what condition SM's bicycle was in when it was found. Based on the above information that has been published in numerous news articles, it is my opinion that something of major consequence happened to SM and her bicycle. IMO, the bicycle is a key piece of evidence in this case. For reasons I have already stated, I do not thing TN would go public urging everyone to contact the sheriff about the condition of the bicycle if the bicycle was simply staged or the bicycle didn't belong to SM. I made reference in my previous moderator deleted post that there have been homicide cases of females getting hit by a vehicle (while bicycling) for the purpose of raping and/or killing them, and I cited a case that I am familiar with as an example. I hope this isn't what happened to SM but based on the published news media articles, I think it is quite possible that SM was hit by a vehicle and then abducted.

ITA, The map is very helpful, and given the speed of traffic on that road, therefore an accidental hit, w/ panic is more logical than any of our others. While the helmet may have protected her head, is it possible a broken neck could have lead to her death, when she was moved? The driver may have truly intended to take her to hospital, and then realized she was dead. I need to look over that map, IMO it’s the key.
My take on BLM's abruptly stopping himself from further talking about the bicycle--giving more details on how it looked when it was found, is because the bicycle evidence plays a key part in SM's disappearance. IMO, LE told BLM and TN not to discuss publicly the bicycle at all anymore, otherwise they both risked jeopardizing the investigation. You make a good point. This was the earliest map used by CrimeOnLine and other reliable MSM. It starts at the neighbor's house and ends on the EAST side of the intersection of Hwy 50 and CR 225. It's kind of amazing how rapidly perceptions change during the development of a case. In this one, I am finding that a lot on MSM information that was cited early on, and is the basis of some opinions of what happened, has been scrubbed.I can't find any mention of what type bicycle Suzanne was allegedly riding. Road bike or mountain bike. Per this map, it appears the personal item(s) was found on the highway.

A cursory Google search turns up a surprising number of "hit the bike/abduct the woman" stories. Some of them lived, some of them didn't, and some were never found. I certainly don't rule that out in SM's case, and that would also cause LE to lock everything down in order to hide what they know for a while.<modsnip> IMO: It is not clear what if any bicycle existed accept for all the news articles published on the internet stating the following facts according to the news media providing information on the bicycle in the SM case. 1) SM went for a bicycle ride on Mothers Day. 2. Watch the video. TD says he is on CR 225. He even shows us the road marker, near the bridge. When he meets up with BLM, occasionally you can clearly see the sign in the back that says "Y". It's the only "Y" in CR225. The camera flops all around, giving a lot of views, but at no time can you see the sides of the bridge over Fooses Creek. That means the bridge has to be well around the bend in the road. Plug all of that worthless information and you have exactly where they were standing, give or take twenty feet . IMOCan you please post a link for the map? I’ve been trying to find one that shows the location where TD and BM spoke in the video along the road.

The two young people who knew them best and lived with them, likely hold the key.
We don't know what type of tires she had her on bicycle...I bought my first custom made mountain bike from Gary Fisher in 1982, and rode it on long distance bicycle rides (over 90 miles a day)...on both highways and off road terrain...using a cross tire (a knobby mountain bike tire with a center bead) that allowed for off road riding stability, while rolling smoothly on highways. IMO, most mountain bike riders do ride on the highway and off road, while road bicyclists stay only on the road.Mountain biking is very different than typical roadway, pavement or cement trails and the bicycle has gearing for steep uphill climbs and descents. Thick knobby tires for mud and gravel as opposed to smooth road tires. Her home was only a short dirt road ride to the Colorado Trail system. No need to be on the highway and would be avoided on her type of bicycle
If we're wagering, my money is on that, too. But I have to say I was aghast at how many abductions there were where a woman or child disappeared while biking, with the bike being found in a mangled condition. It appears BM did not take their advice
Regardless, I agree, the bike is a “key” piece of evidence whether it actually got there on it’s two wheels or someone placed it there to stage an accident or abduction. My money is on there never having been any bike ride on MD. I suspect BM neglected to to think of every little detail needed to stage such an event and LE discovered that very early on.
